I signed up for the unlimited drinks for a few months so my review is a little limited. But...somehow there still managed to be confusion sometimes when all I needed was a cup . Other times I walked in and was good to go. The restaurant was always clean, plenty of seats the drink and snacks side was friendly-and I love self serve drinks so I can mix them-the charged lemonades were behind the counter though. the food pickup side seemed a bit overwhelmed at times. But I don't ever remember being treated rudely-I would just tell them I ordered online for my drink and they'd look through the screen and whether they found it or not they'd give me my cup. lol read more

Decided to work remote from Panera and it did not disappoint. The flavors of the avocado BLT sandwich were delicious. However, I wish that the person taking my order would've let me know that I could switch the bread. The person that I worked with switch their bread after I had already ordered. I definitely would've chosen a different type of bread. The salad was delicious as was the brownie. You can tell when brownies are homemade and that brownie taste like it was baked fresh that morning. I also love the ambience of this Panera bread. They have a fireplace and a variety of booths. We had a great experience at Panera Bread in Clinton, MD. On July 17, 2025, I took my Sister to Panera Bread in Clinton, Maryland, for her 89th birthday. 4 other friends joined us for lunch. Three of the six in our party were on walkers, so we had a little trouble maneuvering everyone to the back, trying not to disrupt the other people. I was slow getting all the others placed on the tablet, so Daniel, an employee, passed our table and stepped in to help. He was amazing in assisting me to get our orders placed, he brought the food to our table, and checked on us periodically to see if we needed anything. Daniel did an exceptional job; he was friendly, prompt, pleasant, and very patient. He did much more than was expected and seemed to be happy to help. Each of the other Panera Bread restaurants needs a Daniel! Way to go, Daniel, you will go far! We will definitely go to Panera Bread in Clinton again. read more

Ordered food for pickup. One of the sandwiches was the wrong one even though the receipt had the correct order. Of course we did not discover this until we got home. The food is good, if you can get what you ordered. This is my 5th time at this location and this is the forth time that they got the order wrong, and their "free stuff" that you select (chips, French bread), it's an option to them whether they want to include it in the bag. The culture in this store appears to be in the "I don't care" mode. If they don't care about giving you the correct items, do they care about things like washing their hands? Drive Thru is TERRIBLE. Placed the order. It's Good I checked the receipt and bag before driving away. Lesson learned from history. Order included Pick 2, only had 1 in the bag. Two cookies, only had 1 in the bag. Potato Soup, received broccoli and cheese (don't recommend). After 2 try's, had to pass the bag back through the window. Today on March The 23rd approximately at 8PM. A young man who was supposedly named Gabriel gave me the worst experience I've ever had at a Panera bread. He was very rude to me while taking my order and told me they only had the plain bagels instead of the asiago bagel that came with my sandwich. I was fine with that. But when I got to the front, someone informed him that they had the bagel instead of him telling me he decided to tell Lady to continue to make the sandwich with the plain bagel. I overheard this as I was paying for the mail through the drive-through window. I informed the manager that I would like the bread at the sandwich originally came with. After that, the employee made fighting gestures in the air. Gabriel then proceeded to wipe his face and his nose area with the back of his hand without a hairnet or changing gloves from preparing my food. Then my food came lukewarm, after that I requested the manager's assistance. I informed her what was going on which she was aware of, and she said she would speak to him. How can you mess up a simple drink order? I did an online order for Drive Thru pick up, I was patient and ok when I was notified they were running behind. When my order was ready I simply get in line let them know who I am and pick up my order. Simple right? Ehhh not so much with this place. I pull up and the girl tells me how much I owe. Ummm no I just told you my name and I'm picking up an order, ok 5 minutes later she returns with my food closed the window and got on her phone.... Really? After seeing I didn't drive off I'm like .... My drink? Sugar free large Blood Orange charged drink she says ok hold on. She immediately gives me a drink and I notice it was light but figured it was watered down because of the deaths related to people drinking so many charged caffeinated drinks. Ok no problem... yeah there was.... I get home and hubby takes a drink and spits it out. It wasn't the sugar free drink it was one that was so syrupy and sugary and hubby is diabetic.... Ugh maybe if she wasn't on her phone she could have given me my correct drink. Maybe if I had looked on Yelp I would have seen the horrible reviews and sipped the drink before pulling off. Picking up some last minute things for my flight tonight and I noticed Panera was nearby. I honestly have not been to Panera many times. Not sure why as each time I have gone the food has been delicious. Popped in around 1 pm and it was not to busy(Yeah me!). Panera is always a nice place to eat and relax because the environment is so chill. They have lots of seating and even a two-sided fireplace to sit by. The staff is always pleasant and friendly and helpful with ordering. I ordered a Teriyaki Chicken and Broccoli Bowl with a side of chips(yes carbs and all!) As usual Panera did not disappoint! The bowl was delicious and flavorful with chicken, broccoli and rice in a slightly sweet Teriyaki base. The chips on the side added a little something something to it. This has to be my worst experience at a Panera ever. They had the longest drive-through line ever! There weren't too many cars ahead of me, I placed my order on the app and thought I'd be in and out. Let's just start off by saying the customer service that I always receive is amazing! Especially from younger staff. So, first and foremost the establishment is always nice and clean/ quite and very welcoming. I went today and got the Mac and cheese which is a fav of my household. The cheeses are perfectly blend and it's season well. I also love their Asiago bagels. They're to die for. I enjoy that this is also a place for you to work from and have an inexpensive date with your family or friends. I made the mistake of coming here just before it closed and more than likely re stock day because they were out of every soup except French onion, the bread bowls, most sandwiches and the rolls. I should've followed my heart to Chick-fil-A but I decided to stay. What was good: the strawberry lemonade with mint. Packed full of flavor, and a hint of mint this tasted great. I grew up in New York where French onion soups and are one of the staples of soup. Granted I haven't had one since I was a kid but I don't think the recipes changed much. So you'll understand my dismay when I was served with soup that wasn't warm, and soup sans cheese. Disappointing to say the least. The Caesar salad was good, I had asked for it to be served with chicken but what I received tasted a lot like turkey. The salad itself was drowned in dressing, and in this case, maybe less is more. The tuna sandwich was probably the worst, I made it only a few bites in before tossing it along with the Mac and cheese. As I said earlier I came in roughly 30 minutes before close so that was definitely a mistake. Additionally as with any restaurant closing, the staff was mopping the floor so when they mopped next to me I had the small of chemicals while I was trying to eat and this definitely had an effect on my appetite. I just don't understand why this store has such a hard time following directions!!! It doesn't fail they always fuck up my order!!! If you modify your order in ANYWAY it comes out wrong. Add cheese does NOT mean to remove the onion, add bacon does NOT mean remove avocado!!! I try to support out local restaurants but this is why people don't. On top of the sandwich not having what I ordered and paid for it was just plain BAD!!! My advice is to STOP and double check your food, bite it make sure you have what you ordered or just skip this Panera all together read more

The formula for Panera is simple, feed clean and fresh and delicious food for a somewhat reasonable price. The location is hidden in a reinvigorated strip mall. I'm happy to see that no trees had to die for this location. If Panera is trying to save the planet and be kind to the environment this location lives up to their mission statement. Inside everything is new and squeaky clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. I came in after the lunch rush, walked in and out in about 10 minutes. I frequent this Panera because it is close to work. The food is not the greatest but I always received good service and it's quick. Today I had ladybugs in my salad!!!! I attempted to return it for a refund and to bring the bug issue to the managers attention. The manager, DUAA, refused to refund my entire order ($13) instead refunded the cost of the salad only ($7.09) When I asked for a refund of my entire order she responded "were there bugs in the entire order?" When this location opened before Covid, I was thrilled. Favorite place to have lunch. Food was excellent. Post Covid, it has deteriorated to the point where today's order (delivered) was the last I'll ever order from Panera. The nearly $10 sandwich was thin and crappy. Bacon not cooked!!! Greens and tomato were old and soggy. Turkey was two tiny pieces about 1" x 1.5". No mayo, salt, pepper. And a funky taste. Something was off. And the usual French bread with the soup was different -- flat, almost like a cibatta or Italian bread. Something radical has happened to their quality. It's a shame. The last three times ordered delivery, and quality was deteriorating. Two of the three times they forgot the soup. It's just a shame. I've written to their main office but no response. I rarely give up on a place, but I'm done. I attached a photo of the sandwich. This was it. Total contents. Raw bacon, one piece avocado, old slimy tomato slices, browned and slimy lettuce bits. I love the food. They offer an array of healthy to simply pleasurable meals. I often spend all day here studying and writing. The only complaint I have is that they need to be attentive to the cleanliness of the establishment. The floors need to be vacuumed regularly, tables need to be wiped more often and the bathrooms should definitely be tended to throughout the day. The staff in the kitchen is mainly women and none of them wear hair nets or even have their hair pulled up or back. I ordered some sandwiches and soups from here, to get home and my wife finds hair in her sandwich. She decides to eat the sandwich anyways and became sick almost instantly. She was throwing up very bad. Even though I had noticed that none of their employees were wearing hair nets I still gave them the benefit of the doubt. Hell I even seen one girl literally take her visor off scratch the front of her scalp, popped the visor back on and packed a to go order without gloves on like it was nothing.
