Kids baguettes are much smaller than the ones for regular size meals. Usually the bread is about 6inches if you order a regular size soup. First time I went, the food was delicious. A little slow getting our order but it was good. Went back following week & ordered warm grain bowl & they were out of most of the ingredients & only got rice, chicken & cheese in the bowl, after being told they were out of beans, they seem to also run out of corn, tomatoes, and all the other stuff too. I was still charged full price but got half the food! The sandwich portions are tremendously small for the pick two also. Poor customer service! It's unfortunate that some workers at this store have very rude behavior and seem to have no business to work in food service. This is the the closest Panera where we live at and what a difference when we go visit to Waldorf, Alexandria, or other Panera's outside of Clinton. We have ordered using the app- curbside pick up, and have waited for at least 15 minutes to get our order when the app says it's ready (what's the point of having curb side options if you can't deliver). Another instance is when I ordered iced coffee but got charged twice...when I came up to the counter to ask for a refund, one of the employees quipped, "there's always something..." When the same employee came up to the counter, I told her that it's rude and disrespectful to hear that as a customer...and all I got what "I was just talking to my coworker." Overall, Panera items are good but if you have employees that display very poor customer service, it brings the experience down and turns customers off. @Panera management, what do you plan to do about this? Why are some locations better than others, and why does the Clinton branch have such horrible customer service? Why I will never return to the Clinton Panera again I had the opportunity to visit the new Clinton Panera today. I received a warm greeting and my order ( 1 bagel sliced and toasted) was taken. I was directed to go to the pick up area to receive my order. After waiting 5 minutes, I returned to the counter and asked if I was in the correct place. I was told yes so I continued to wait a few more minutes. After several minutes had past I returned to the counter and ask for my money back. The young lady left to get someone to assist with my return. She came back with Heath. Heath never asked what the issue was or why I wanted the refund. He just gave me my money back and left. I was more upset with his lack of customer service then with the time it took to get one bagel. If you want to be successful CUSTOMER SERVICE is the key. read more

This has been a favorite place to eat dinner with my kids. I've never been a fan of salad until my job ordered Panera for lunch one day. Ever since I've been hooked to Caesar salad with chicken. I love sitting near the fireplace for ambiance. Or the large high table. Service is fine. Never had any issue. Only thing I would recommend is better drink options. The ones I've tried are bland. Maybe incorporate vitamin water as an option. The cold caramel frap drink is good if you like caffeine. Taste just like cold coffee. Other than that, cool place to grab a salad. 5 star rating for my takeout dining experience here yesterday afternoon. This was my 2nd visit to this location. I ordered turkey avocado club and strawberry poppyseed salad (no chicken). It was delicious! Cashier was polite and courteous and service was timely. Great portion sizes. Please note that this location also has a drive-thru. All employees were wore masks. I read the bad reviews but gave them a chance anyway. I did note a few spots on the floor but the dining booths looked clean. That does happen with self-serve drink areas. I love coming here! The people are so nice and of course the food is amazing. I'm glad they finally built a Panera near where I live.

Placed an order through the app, I get home and my boyfriend takes a bite of his turkey apple sandwich to find that there is NO turkey on the sandwich. How the hell do you forget the turkey?!! At that time the store was closed and it was nothing we could do. So happy that they finally put a Panera bread in this area! The bonus is it's not too far from my home, and they have a drive thru!!!! It's sad that there is only one Panera Bread in this region as if "BP" don't like to eat on the "healthier side" . So far, when I go pass they are making really good business. My first experience since the Clinton location opened was great! A bit of a wait in the drive-thru, but was tolerable and expected.. the food was exactly as ordered and really good! Went to Panera Bread (Pb) on 10/8/22, I ordered two bread bowls (one broccoli cheddar cheese and an onion soup. Much to my dismay, I drove 10 miles to my residence after obtaining my purchase. When I looked in the bag, the bread bowls weren't there. I drove back to PB to inform them that the bread bowls were missing. For my trouble, I requested a complimentary onion soup, and was told that I could get a cookie. I was appalled; I don't like desserts. I was a bit angry, and told the cashier that I will never do business with PB ever! I drove 30 miles in total and feel that PB could've reimbursed me, since gas prices are steep, and the Clinton establishment messed up on my order. To boot, I will never eat another soup BB from anywhere. My advice: do not rely on the help at PB to get your order right! Bad service. read more

This is the WORST PAERNA ever. I'm always trying to give them another chance but they never get any better. One time I ordered a bagel extra toasted with cream cheese. Got an untoasted bagel and when I opened the cream cheese it was liquid. But tonight was the last straw. I did a mobile order for curbside pick up as I have a young child who I didn't want to take into the store. I ordered before I left the house. Got there parked in the assigned parking spots and checked in on the app. I was a few minutes early. So I didn't mind waiting. But 25 minutes after I ordered I went in and said I wanted to cancel the order just give me a refund. The guy working was like well you're orders been ready it's right here take it. I said no I don't even want it anymore and that's not even all of it I ordered a drink too and he said well you can make it yourself. I said the whole point of curbside ordering was so I didn't have to come In here. They finally cancelled my order and I ll get a refund In 3-5 business days I guess. I called customs service and they were more helpful than the actual in person employees I dealt with. If I could rate this store less than a one I sure would. They messed up my order while I was there I had the issues fixed only to get home and realize other things were messed up. I called and asked for a refund because uh yea why would I pay for items I never received and I was told to just come back... how about no it's a 15 minute drive there and back and gas is high. I was placed on hold and I was on hold so long the phone recalled and hung itself up. I immediately called back and was told they would check back in in 3 minutes... same thing happens phone recalls and hangs itself up. I then call back again 3 more times only for them to not answer at all. Best believe whoever the manager on duty is will be hearing from me. Issues do happen but the way you handle them says a lot more about you than the issue itself. I ordered my food and paid for rapid order at 12:20pm on 2/19/20. I arrived at 12:45pm to pick it up. My food wasn't on the shelf. The person behind the counter stated she fixed my order and it was placed in the pick up shelf. Of course someone took my food and there was no more broccoli and cheddar soup the only thing I ordered. So I had to get a refund for my lunch. My point is being is that there's so much dishonesty out here, maybe the management needs to move the pick up behind the counter so people food that is paid for will not be taken by a dishonest person. read more

This time, I went through the drive through, the service was a bit slow, the employees were very nice taking my order. When I pulled up to the window, the cashier (Jai) only said "hello". Didn't tell me my total and didn't even repeat my order to me to make sure everything was okay. She just said hello and waited for me to hand her the money. Anyways, I gave her the money and she gave me my change back, my drink, and then my food but rushing me out the way. When I got home, and opened my bag, I was immediately disgusted. My bread was just thrown into the bag. And so was my spoon. I'm sorry but that is just super unsanitary. The bread should be inside of a bag or something. Not just thrown into the bag. The bbq chicken Mac&Cheese I ordered was super dry. The sand which was sloppy and messy to eat (Turkey & avocado BLT) and the agave lemonade was superrrr tart. I went to the Clinton, MD location around 7:30pm on a Wednesday. We sat in drive-thru for almost 45 min. we ordered 1 half caesar salad, a whole Caesar salad, 2- turkey bacon bravo sandwiches. When we got home 1 sandwich had no meat at all, the other sandwich had 1 piece of meat. I called on the way to take the sandwiches back. A young lady answers the phone "Hello"! I asked is this Panera Bread? She said, yes! I said may I speak to a manager? She said, we're closed. You're going to have to call back tomorrow. And she hung up.! When I arrived I knocked on the glass and someone came to the door. I asked to speak to a manager. The manager came out, ( a short Caucasian female with blondish brown hair). I informed her of what happened. She seemed so care free about the situation for saying this is her job. She said, I can't give you a refund I've already closed out for the night. The managed said we can make you another sandwich. I informed the manager why would I want another sandwich when the initial sandwiches were not correct. She stated I can refund your money tomorrow. You can call. She asked for the receipt. I have it to her. She wrote down my name and number. The manager stated she was off tomorrow but she can have one of the three managers call me for the refund. Or her district manager can give me a call. I said okay. I said to her I know it's the close of business but really, this makes no sense. I left and called multiple times the next day and received no answer. But, I didn't get hung up on again around 5:50pm. I guess she took my number to know not to answer the call. Needless to say I still haven't received a call back for a refund. I will never go to that Panera Bread again. Nor will I recommend any one else to. That manager abs employee are making that location look bad. I never leave reviews.
