Era of More is More! I don't think so... This is TWO slices of Toast, $2.40

Stopped here for breakfast. As you walk in, assorted pastries/snacks to go already packaged catches your eyes. The brownies looked good so decided to get one along with breakfast. Easy to order and staff was friendly but had to repeat my order. Seating area was clean after food was ready and social distancing inside and outside. outdoor seating with umbrella to shade from sun or rain... Ample parking outside as the lot is shared with other stores in the area.

My yearly reminder to skip Panera and get better food from a local place. Wanted to check out the new menu pick 2. Soup and sandwich; and I also had 1/2 Greek salad. $21. The salad was wilted iceberg, literally 1 piece feta, soup was standard, the cheesesteak was actually decent. But those items are not worth the $21. When I asked if drink included in the pick 2; the guy making the food had a snarky reply. The place was clean, points for that. But what is the incentive to go here? Ambiguous robots eating cafeteria food. Oh; and you have to make sure to grab your own cutlery and napkins. And no drinks included in pick2.! Meh

Ordered take out and it was a very long wait, about 30 minutes, place was busy! The sandwiches were okay. For a chain, it's not bad but it's pricey as expected but luckily I had a coupon and I didn't want it to go to waste. However, this may be my last visit not unless I get a coupon again... lol. Ordered the turkey BLT- it was okay. The smokehouse chicken was delicious, but not sure it's worth paying that much, almost $13 for a full sandwich and it was kinda small.

Coffee station bottom that looks like it's never seen a clean rag or broom.

The food was tasty and the portions were great. (Half sandwich that was more like 3/4 and lots of croutons in soup). The bathroom and lobby was atrocious. Like things that look like they've never been cleaned. As I sit here after my meal I can only hope that I don't get sick because if things are this dirty out front I'm worried about the back food line.

The protocol for ordering is different from most restaurants in that there are no servers to take your orders. You go pick up a menu and sit at a table to choose your items and then proceed to a counter to place your order and pay. You are then given a number to bring to the table and the food is delivered when ready. The service is quick and brought to the table with accompanied silverware, etc. The employees are accommodating and pleasant. Cereals are served in large cups and drinks come with metal straws. The tables are also set with the usual condiments and also honey and maple syrup. The hours are 7 am to 3 pm seven days a week, so it is mainly set up for breakfasts and lunches. Since I have only dined there once so far , I can only say that the items I ordered were the best that I have ever had in any other restaurant or diner. The coffee and drink choices are many and their coffee is great, served in massive cups. I intend to visit again soon and try more dishes and anticipate that I won't be disappointed. The only minor complaint I had was the menus. Although they were large with many choices, the color printing and lightness of the characters made it a bit challenging to read. I brought this small complaint to the owner who received it with gratitude and understanding and replied that she intends to rectify it in the future. Great atmosphere, great service, great food and great management.

ATMOSPHERE: Since Chomp Chomp is located in a mall food court, the atmosphere is as expected -- lots of background noises, scents, and activity. In a nutshell, not a relaxing place to gather and dine. CONCEPT: Chomp Chomp is fast food, but offers a curiously diverse list of dishes such as pastrami sandwiches, rice bowls, pork belly bao, and Oklahoma-style burgers. Likewise, Chomp Chomp offers a diverse range of beverages to complement your chosen dish, including mango milkshake, Coke, and creamsicle float. FOOD: So much is offered on the menu, but I've been enamored by the Oklahoma-style burger and have yet to explore the menu. As I understand this century-old regional burger preparation method, beef is smashed on a grill, seasoned, topped with thin slices of onions, which in turn are covered with cheese. Steam from the onions permeates the cheese as it melts. The result is a super moist burger in which flavors of each component are married, rather than contrasted. SERVICE: Each time I've visited the person working the counter was enthusiastic about the new business and eager to offer guidance. TIP: For a few dollars more you can get fries and a drink. For a single burger this ends up being around cost of McDonald's ($12), but the quality, service, and flavor is far better at Chomp Chomp. The Oklahoma burger is available as single or double. I found that the flavor was more pronounced in the double version. Toppings are customizable. For example, you can add lettuce and tomato on a burger, or add meat or sauces to fries. (That said, I prefer to stick to the original Oklahoma burger version in order to experience the regional burger in its original form.)

I usually have chicken when I visit Chomp Chomp and it's always juicy and hot. They have a Chomp Chomp sauce that I really like, it's especially good with fries. Additionally, the brioche buns they use are very high quality. This is a good alternative if you're tired of the other places in the food court.

Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right on South Street with its own private parking lot is this gem. What looks like a seemingly medium-sized house on the side of the street is this unique spot. Out back there are several smokers that are fed with wood on a regular basis. Once inside you'll see the rustic concept. Lots of wood everywhere and a pretty open concept. Directly in front of you is the circular bar and off to the left is the main dining room. The lighting is warm and inviting as well. Service: The whole staff really took care of us since we were a pretty big party. We had no issues whatsoever. Food: So I got to try A LOT of things here. I started off with the Just Peachy which is Crowne Royal Peach served with a whiskey-soaked peach and some sweet tea. It was deliciously well-balanced and simple with only 3 major ingredients. Next up was the Homestyle Honey Cornbread. This was very good, soft and simple, I do wish the butter was warmer though so that it was easier to spread. Next up was the Honey Sriracha Glazed Pork Belly. It was so soft, so tender, savory and flavorful. I loved the bit of char from the "skin" and the sweet/spiciness was a great addition. Next up was the Smokey Mac & Cheese that comes served in a super hot skillet and it was SUPER CHEESY, yet very thick as well. This was so delicious, peppery, a bit sharp, but I really enjoyed it. Next up were the Buffalo Cauliflower Wings which are an excellent menu choice for those that don't eat meat. They're served over a blue cheese coleslaw and this was an awesome idea! I was very impressed because coleslaw is usually made with mayonnaise, using bleu cheese was brilliant. The "wings" themselves were crispy and flavorful. Next up was the Farmboys Old Fashioned which is a twist on the original classic. In it is Basil Hayden Toast Premium Bourbon and other secret ingredients. This was delicious as well and was just a hint too sweet to me. Next up were the Super Sloppy Nachos. These are a concoction of melted cheddar, homemade cheese sauce, baked beans, ranch, BBQ sauce, scallions, jalapenos and pulled pork. You can get chicken instead if you wish. These were delicious and very straightfroward, but pretty heavy. I actually really liked the fresh jalapenos that provided a bit of a crunch along with the chips. Very good. Next up were the Brussels Sprouts which are served with crispy pork belly and hot honey sauce. I mean, I guess these aren't healthy as they once were anymore. Lol. These were straight though. I liked how they were cooked and the other flavors involved drowned out the actual Brussels flavor. Second to last was the beef brisket. It was amazing and was so incredibly tender. Just simply amazing. I don't have anything else to say. Lastly, the smoked wings. These were super tender and they still had a crispy skin! The smokey flavor was excellent and there were hints of Cajun, maybe creole in it as well. I loved these so much. Value: Barbecue is usually on a bit of the pricey side, but that's just the way it goes. The food usually takes a lot longer and time is money. That's about it. This place wasn't crazy though and the portions are big so you definitely get your money's worth. In conclusion, I really, really liked this place and just wish it were closer to me so that I could visit more often. However, if you're on that side of the state or not, make your way there to check them out!

My wife and son were super excited to try barbecue at this famous local spot, but we definitely caught them on an off night. Reviews are mostly good for this place, so I guess timing and circumstances are at play. My wife ordered the peach cocktail and they were out. I ordered the RIBS, they were out !!! They didn't have the sausage for the combination platter and came out a couple of minutes later saying they had it (most likely just seared because the smoke was not there when we were eating). They were out of Brussel sprouts. They were out of MUSTARD !! I ordered a house pilsner they were out and I ordered another beer. Need i say more? On a good note they can barbecue. The brisket was very good. Great smoke ring and true winner. The pulled pork and chicken both had good smoke. Chicken was a bit on the dry side, but it was still good. Baked beans were good. My wife absolutely loved the cole slaw. Waitress was very good. Polite, apologetic and serviced us very well. We addressed our disappointment and hopefully by summer this famous BBQ spot can get back on track.
