12.24.24 I hadn't previously known about this great find until I came here for a Yelp event. A great find indeed. The food here is amazing. It's very fresh and very tasty. It's worth your repeat trips back here like i have done. The spot is located inside Danbury Fair Mall so it's not a big place. It is the prefect size for what they do. If you happen to need more room or there's too many people inside you can out to go out into the food court and find somewhere else to sit and eat. There are plenty of tables and chairs just outside this place. Their service is quick, prompt and very efficient. They've even been as quick during busy times at lunch. The page itself had many opportunities for photos for here on Yelp or IG. They aren't much on conversation but that's fine for this type because it's a quick pick up & go. They aren't rude at all. Just super efficient and that's a fantastic problem to have. Right? They know their craft and they do it well. They are like a well oiled machine. Taichi puts out a great product. I've stuck with their poke bowls but I'm looking to venture into some of their other options shortly. The prices are reasonable and in line with other poke places I've been to in the Connecticut area. Their food also looks so esthetically pleasing. It's very vibrant and bright in the restaurant which is always a plus. They have nothing to hide. They do an amazing job and they should be proud. Their staff are well trained.

I had the pleasure of attending a Yelp Elite event at Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen, and Poke Bowl in Danbury. It is located at the food court, next to the carousel. The bubble tea was a standout for me - perfectly sweet and refreshing. I got make your own poke bowl. I opted for the three protein bowl. It was fresh and packed with a variety of tasty ingredients, making each bite a delight. The staff were friendly and attentive. They even have self order kiosks. Making ordering easy. Overall a very clean place and easy to find. Lot of seating spaces available. I will definitely be going back there.

I stopped at this boba shop doing work for the mall. The manager was so friendly! They have so much to offer here it's not just a boba spot they offer food as well! I did end up getting a boba drink here and I loved it! Peach fruit tea with strawberry boba and I loved that it wasn't too sweet but just sweet enough! This is definitely a must try boba spot if you're at the Danbury mall!

Tried their popular bubble tea for the first time. Got the strawberry flavor with a scoop of pearls. The drink was actually very good, not soemthing i would get all the time but definitely a nice treat. I also got their chicken taichi rice box for my meal which is a solid deal at $12. It came with a good amount of chicken, vegetables, and rice. The place was a little packed when i went but the service was excellent and got everything out within a reasonable time

The development there has come a long way over the last few years, making it a great destination for a quick lunch or a sit-down dinner. Plus, having plenty of parking in a modern, well-maintained square is a massive win--no circling the block looking for a spot here. While the name promises "Bao," I haven't ventured into that side of the menu just yet. Why? Because the Ramen is too good to pass up. The Meat Soup (Ramen) is my go-to. The broth is rich, savory, and clearly made with care. It's the kind of "fantastic" comfort food you want on a chilly Connecticut day. The meat is tender and the portions are satisfying. If you're in the Oxford area and looking for authentic flavors in a clean, modern setting, this is the place. It's easy to get to, easy to park, and the soup never misses.

We ordered some Spring Rolls which were nice and hot, a Futo Maki which is my favorite and hard to find. So good. Then I got the Beef Yaki Ramen and my husband got the Korean Flank Steak. Both served hot and fresh. Everything was delicious. The waitstaff was overly attentive but that's ok. Cute spot. Well definitely go back.

But I found it very mediocre. Chicken potstickers were probably the best part of the meal. My husband ordered the general tso's lunch special, I ordered the spicy miso ramen, and we ordered the pineapple fried rice lunch special with chicken to share. There is a place closer to home where I order pineapple fried rice and it's super yummy and served in a pineapple. This was very boring, and bland. I wished it could be ordered with pork or pork belly, which has more flavor than chicken, but that wasn't an option. It did contain a lot of chicken so would be a decent sized standalone meal, but I wasn't impressed. The spicy miso ramen said it had a rich pork broth with miso added, but truth be told, it tasted like the free miso soup you get with sushi or hibachi. I forgot to add an egg - entirely my fault. But the soup overall was underwhelming. As was the general tso's. Fine but not great. Food came out quickly and it was busy, but I was not impressed at all and wish we chose somewhere better for lunch when in the area. We had leftovers, but it wasn't any better the second time around!

I wouldn't recommend the Yaki Onigiri, despite reading positive reviews for it. The fried rice was way too heavy and didn't taste good. The greasiness was competing with the strong taste of the salmon. Some servers knew their job well, and greeted us at the door. A newer server wasn't as knowledgeable on gluten free options there and also didn't take away our used appetizer plates before serving us the mains. Not a huge deal, but it does make a difference in your dining experience and how the flow of your meal goes.

"Comforting Bowls and a Cozy Izakaya Feel"…read more Haruki Ramen & Izakaya delivers a warm and inviting ramen experience that feels both relaxed and satisfying. It is the kind of place that works perfectly for a casual date night or a comforting dinner when you are craving something rich and flavorful. We started with the agedashi tofu and Sapporo, which was a great way to ease into the meal. The tofu was lightly crisp on the outside and silky inside, sitting in a savory broth that balanced sweetness and umami nicely. Paired with a cold Sapporo, it set the tone for a solid evening. My girlfriend ordered the spicy tonkotsu ramen, which came out steaming and fragrant. The broth was creamy and pork forward with a steady heat that built gradually without overwhelming the palate. The noodles had a nice chew and the toppings were well portioned. I went with the mazemen, which was bold and satisfying. Rich sauce coating thick noodles, topped with a perfectly jammy egg and fresh scallions for brightness. It was hearty and full of flavor, the kind of dish that leaves you full and content. The atmosphere is cozy and intimate, with dim lighting and a laid back energy that encourages you to settle in. Service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The only reason this lands at four stars instead of five is that while everything was very good, it did not quite reach that unforgettable level. Still, it is a dependable spot for quality ramen in Norwalk.

Not only is the food awesome - I ordered a ramen, plain hot dog, and halo-halo shaved ice (addictively good) - but bonus stars to the staff who were sooo sweet! The Hawaiian style shaved ice and home-made ice cream are top notch. The ice cream is rich and delicious, with some unique flavors, and the shaved ice is very fine - fluffy and evenly slushy in texture and sweetness, unlike the inferior versions where you run into bland chips of ice. The toppings are yum too. The ramen noodles are springy, settled in a savory light broth. For a non-prestige grade ramen, I have no complaints. I also want to acknowledge the lovely hospitality. My child was in a tantrum-y mood and went to sulk by himself in a corner. Seeing the pouty little grump in a small fit, the girls at the counter coaxed him over with ice cream and stickers, which he of course eagerly accepted, pleased by the attention and confection, and was soon back to his endearing self. So I really appreciated their extra kindness! This is a fab joint for a quick-casual or just a perfect sweet treat!
