Longest line in the food court next to the Asian Kitchen and Chik fil A. The poke bowls, ramen and bubble tea orders were nonstop. The workers were so busy and the kiosks wouldnt stop taking orders. This goes to show the freshness and reliability! Take out came with a nice bag. read more

For the price, it's probably one of the better offerings at the mall food court, and definetly better than the mcdonald's that used to be there. I ordered the to go on the kiosk to see how it would come and everything was very securely packed! Even the lid of the smoothie! I noticed that there was an area to sit but it's a group of two tables with chairs sat right up against each other so unless you have a party of 4 you're better off sitting somewhere else. I got my food relatively quickly, and the number system they have makes it very easy to know when your order is ready. The smoothie I got had a good consistency, and the added fruit jelly's not only tasted good but are properly sized so you can actually get them with the straw. The ramen packed alot of noodles, the broth was good, and they know how to do their eggs very well! The only thing that could've been better was if they made the tonkatsu a little bigger because the strips they give you are very thin, but for the price and location it's definitely a top contender in the mall food court. read more

12.24.24 I hadn't previously known about this great find until I came here for a Yelp event. A great find indeed. The food here is amazing. It's very fresh and very tasty. It's worth your repeat trips back here like i have done. The spot is located inside Danbury Fair Mall so it's not a big place. It is the prefect size for what they do. If you happen to need more room or there's too many people inside you can out to go out into the food court and find somewhere else to sit and eat. There are plenty of tables and chairs just outside this place. Their service is quick, prompt and very efficient. They've even been as quick during busy times at lunch. The page itself had many opportunities for photos for here on Yelp or IG. They aren't much on conversation but that's fine for this type because it's a quick pick up & go. They aren't rude at all. Just super efficient and that's a fantastic problem to have. Right? They know their craft and they do it well. They are like a well oiled machine. Taichi puts out a great product. I've stuck with their poke bowls but I'm looking to venture into some of their other options shortly. The prices are reasonable and in line with other poke places I've been to in the Connecticut area. Their food also looks so esthetically pleasing. It's very vibrant and bright in the restaurant which is always a plus. They have nothing to hide. They do an amazing job and they should be proud. Their staff are well trained. read more

I had the pleasure of attending a Yelp Elite event at Taichi Bubble Tea, Ramen, and Poke Bowl in Danbury. It is located at the food court, next to the carousel. The bubble tea was a standout for me - perfectly sweet and refreshing. I got make your own poke bowl. I opted for the three protein bowl. It was fresh and packed with a variety of tasty ingredients, making each bite a delight. The staff were friendly and attentive. They even have self order kiosks. Making ordering easy. Overall a very clean place and easy to find. Lot of seating spaces available. I will definitely be going back there. read more

I stopped at this boba shop doing work for the mall. The manager was so friendly! They have so much to offer here it's not just a boba spot they offer food as well! I did end up getting a boba drink here and I loved it! Peach fruit tea with strawberry boba and I loved that it wasn't too sweet but just sweet enough! We spend entirely far too much time at Danbury Fair Mall if you ask me. It's not out of desire, but necessity. A few weeks ago, we found that the ONLY store in all CT and NY that still sold our camp-required water shoes this late in the season was at this mall. On that trip, of course, I also purchased a dog harness that didn't end up fitting the pup, so had to drive back a week later to exchange it. Twice in two weeks. It's not like me! Despite my unwilling presence in these parts, I did make one happy discovery: Where McDonalds used to be in the mall food court, there is now a beautiful, shiny-new bubble tea place, which also purveys poke bowls, ramen, and other sweet and savory delights. Perfect place for my 8 year old poke monster and me to grab a snack. We didn't try the drinks, which appear to be very popular and include additions like fruit jellies and popping fruit boba. But we can observe that the poke bowl is much better than it has to be for the area. The base we chose (various salads) and the tuna poke we chose as a protein were both of fresh and high quality, comparable to our NYC and Hawaiian favorites. Toppings that you could choose to have included, gratis, were generous, including things like masago and tamago, wakame, etc... The self-order consoles don't appear to be properly set up yet as of July 2024. (You can't make any modifications or choose options, yet, so if you wanted anything other than the default setting of an item, you're really stuck with the line for the cashier.) But employees on our visit were diligent and polite, working their way through an endless stream of orders. I loved talking to the young Danbury-based kids of all different backgrounds waiting on their drinks. Taichi probably isn't good enough to get me back to this mall by itself -- but it is a nice consolation prize if I do have to be there. read more

Tried their popular bubble tea for the first time. Got the strawberry flavor with a scoop of pearls. The drink was actually very good, not soemthing i would get all the time but definitely a nice treat. I also got their chicken taichi rice box for my meal which is a solid deal at $12. It came with a good amount of chicken, vegetables, and rice. The place was a little packed when i went but the service was excellent and got everything out within a reasonable time read more

She gave suggestions and confirmed my order Ambience: For a food court option this place was very cute! There's not really seating because again, the food court is right there, but you feel like you're at a separate poke / bubble tea establishment Food: Take my money!!!! Good lord the food was so good. I am SO disappointed and sad that this is the review I have to post. When this place first opened, I was here almost every other day and the poke bowls and the Ramen is absolutely outstanding. However, this is the second time that I have eaten here and I have been as sick as a dog the next day for the entire day. It didn't just happen once it happened twice. I didn't wanna believe it so I put it to the test. I was here yesterday. 2/12/25 and ordered tonkstu Ramen. It was delicious until I went to bed for work the next morning and had to leave work following extreme gastrointestinal discomfort and vomiting. We visited Taichi Bubble Tea at the Fatry in Danbury Mall and enjoyed everything. The Unagi Rice Box was fresh and flavorful. The No Protein Salad Bowl was full of fresh vegetables and delicious toppings. The Mango Black Tea and Taichi Brown Sugar Milk Tea were perfectly made. Fast and friendly service. Got a sushi burrito. The taste was good, but it was not filled evenly throughout the burrito so only the first two bites in each half were good. It was also not wrapped well. Half of it fell apart and the other half I had to fold in half again. Was not worth the price for me. read more

Not a bad poke place. Better than the one across from Stew Leonards. The boba drinks looked good, but unfortunately, I'm cutting out sugar so wasn't able to try it. The poke ingredient options were ok. Wished they offered kani salad though. I wasn't a fan of their sauce options. They also forgot to put a few ingredients in my rice bowl, one of them being a protein. I defintely wouldn't go out of my way to go there to get a bowl, but if I'm already there, I probably would. It was so refreshing to build a healthy salad in a foot court. Food was yummy and very fresh. My son Loved the bubble team. I do recommend they advertise more in the mall. I didn't know they were in the back of the food court and just stumbled upon it. read more
