Beef Pho Beef & Meatballs (Pho Tai & Bo Vien)

[[HIGHLIGHT]]It was in a really cute and cozy location, a very Connecticut-looking building.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Service was very nice and attentive and quick! - egg rolls: portion size was smaller than what I'm used to, I didn't think the flavor was at par with other viet restaurants I've been to either - Thai tea boba: I couldn't taste the Thai tea, it just tasted like sweet milk - Vietnamese crepe cake: yummy and delightfully crispy! Loved it - beef pho: pretty solid, no notes! Broth was umami filled, they didn't skimp on beef, noodles were bouncy

Pho Vietnam makes the best shaken beef in my opinion. But when you're craving it on a Monday and the other place is closed, then this is my second choice. It's good. But the sauce isn't the same, and the beef here is a bit chewy. But it satisfies the appetite. Also, I asked for extra sauce on the beef and was charged extra. Who does that? Last time it was really dry, so I figured extra sauce won't hurt. Service is fast and reliable.

Hidden in CT for sure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a small restaurant but clean and cozy.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pho special has very yummy clear brother with beef flavor, full if umami. They definitely took time to cook the broth with good ingredients. The noodles is chewy not soaky you won't taste the flour, lots of tripes and tender and soft beef. Grilled poke chop rice is big portion, perfect sunny side up egg, they have the steam egg (which many restaurant don't make anymore) the steam egg has wood ears, noodles carrots pork in it. So good. Many slices of tomatoes and cucumbers. pork chop marinaded well tender and juicy while u can tasted the bbq flavor. ... The only thing is I cant taste the lemongrass but it's still very food. Highly recommend. It's already better than many restaurants in city or Brooklyn. Fried egg roll has pork wood ears and glass noodles fillings, very authentic, unfortunately i wish they wrap it with rice paper will be more authentic. Definitely taste so good. We tried the Vietnamese coffee unfortunately it's not that good. Will be sure come back for the pho and try other dishes. Very polite people, great service and clean restrooms

    Bean sprouts are fresh.

2026 Feb 8 : 1) extra large beef pho 2) shaken beef. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Restroom is very clean and clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered medium for the shaken steak but as cubes they were more on the medium well side. The pho is generous and fresh.

Grilled Pork with Egg Rolls Noodle Bowl - tasty

Joe B. and I had a rainy Sunday evening meal at Le's. Yelp certainly steered us to a true gem. Everything we ordered was excellent. In fact, we over ordered because we wanted to try so many different things. The beef pho was perfect - and not too salty, something I'm always worried about. The grilled pork noodle bowl was also very fulfilling; I had leftovers for the next day. No alcohol, but it didn't feel like we were missing anything. Really kind people who were working here. The spot seems to have a strong take out game, but it was also awesome to see plenty of people who were dining in.

After having lunch at Le's Kitchen, the first thing I did was call the person who recommended it to me and thank him. This is a hidden gem in Danbury. It's located in the back of a small plaza and somewhat difficult to find but I found it! It's small, casual and very clean. The food is delicious and the service is very good. There are so many items on the menu I want to try that I, definitely, plan to go back soon.

This is the most flavorful pho around town , I've tried many . The wings and wontons are also yummy . It's BYOB which is great , wish they had mushrooms but they said you can also bring them if you like . Wait staff is really friendly , [[HIGHLIGHT]]last time we went it was pretty cold but idk if that's because they were closing soon[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

It's a small restaurant in an exceedingly tight lot and we'd tried unsuccessfully to go several times before. It's popular and always seems crowded. Happily, we lucked out and were able to reserve for our group on a recent visit. The food we tried was of mixed quality. Pho broth was quite lovely, a light, northern style, which came with the standard garnishes (bean sprouts, lime, basil, jalapeno). Beef (eye of round, I presume) was sliced a little too thickly, but fresh. A shrimp and pork summer roll ("fresh spring roll") was well made with pliant rice paper and a reasonable protein to vegetable / starch ratio, but I was not a huge fan of the very hoisin-heavy dipping sauce, which overwhelmed all other flavors. There wasn't much peanut flavor. In IMHO, nước chấm would've been a much better partner for this intrinsically delicate roll. Bo luc lac / shaking beef was made with good quality meat, but was overwhelmingly salty. The meat was cut a touch large and unwieldy and was not as melt-in-your-mouth tender as some of our favorite versions. Bubble teas weren't the best. They were very clearly from powdered mixes. Tapioca pearls were a mixture of soft and bouncy and unpleasantly hard. The two servers on duty were pleasant enough, but were clearly overwhelmed and unable to be present. We experienced some major delays, little check-in. Maybe a systemic issue the restaurant could address by hiring more staff. Overall, this was a good enough meal that we'd like to come by to try more -- especially more of the pho, which seem to be a strong point.

Le's kitchen makes me feel better about living in CT. [[HIGHLIGHT]]A cozy ma and pop style Vietnamese spot, tucked away in a shopping center with the most delicious pho![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]! (Grilled pork is my go to) The pho comes in 3 sizes incase you're there to eat your feelings. Bahn mi is on point!! Vietnamese coffee is to die for. As a NYC transplant I absolutely needed to lockdown a top notch Viet spot ASAP and I found it!!

Chicken Pho This is a small place but the Pho is great. I usually take it to go and I would put it together myself. I would warm the noodles in the broth up on the stove, for not too long just enough to loosen the noodles up, then add the other ingredients to it. (don't warm it up long) Add the leaves after bowling everything, a little sriracha, and enjoy. This isn't your normal grab-and-go Pho place with bland broth and noodles that taste like they were frozen. This is fresh tasting. Strongly recommended for the Pho in the Danbury area.

Waiter was friendly and gave us some time to make our selections. I chose the egg roll, tangerine beef. Hubby chose the orange chicken. I asked the waiter if the soda came in a can. He said yes. We then waited for our meal. He returned quickly with my soda, in a glass with lots of ice. Not what I expected. But I guess I wasn't specific about my drink order. My egg roll was good. Cut decoratively in half at an angle, piping hot. Our food arrived shortly. Both plates were generous and came with white rice. Cut a portion in small pieces to taste with rice. Tasted so good, burned my tongue a little it was so hot. Ate a bit more, and that's when my mouth started burning up! The dish was a little more spicy than I expected. Tried to eat more, but it was too much for me. My hubby on the other hand was in his glory. He Loves heat. The spiciest the better. He tried mine and said it was just as spicy as his, which he loved. So, I just thought we would take mine home for him to enjoy later. I have to say it was good, before I had to cry uncle. So would definitely have to return for another try and let them know I can't take the spiciness. I did notice that the restaurant was busy with takeout orders. So I guess that's their main business. So I wouldn't say this was a cozy place. But the food is good. Lots of parking outside since they're next to a supermarket and liquor store. There weren't any 'lunch' specials, so this was over $50 with tip. By the way, lots to choose from the menu. I only took pictures of some pages.

I got the Pho with duck, and my wife got the crispy duck dinner. Both dishes were "meh" at best. Below average. As far as service... it was harried and we were only one of two couples eating in this "NOT so cozy" restaurant. We went at 5:30 expecting to wait because it was small and "cozy" and it was Chinese New year. (1) no problem eating in during dinner hours (2) not a stitch of celebratory anything for Chinese New Year.. not even a place mat. No chinese noodles at the table and there was one continuous plain bench and brown tables (no table cloths) on the opposite side aka cafe style and cafeteria style seats. Hardly "cozy" at all. Overall high expectations, below average experience, ambiance and food.

Had Bun Xao and Pho Ga, and my son meant to order rare beef pho but accidentally ordered beef stew, but he had zero regrets it was delicious with huge chunks of beef. I've never had Vietnamese beef stew before but it was very much like American except with vermicelli noodles. My Pho was excellent, but I would have appreciated a bit more protein and it seemed to be lacking a little in saltiness could have been light on salt, soy or fish sauce. Easily remedied at the table. The bun xao also would have appreciated a bit more protein. I cant emphasize enough these were minor issues. Pricing was very good, no complaints.

Service was friendly and helpful and the establishment was very clean including the restrooms. We started out with a pot of hot tea which was so welcomed. The beef stew pho was excellent, warming, and fresh. The fried rice was delicious. Parking can be challenging to find, but other than that we would highly recommend. My aunt, who is handicapped and has Down syndrome, needed to use the restroom, but the waitress told them they couldn't use it. They had to walk all the way to Dunkin' Donuts instead, which was frustrating and honestly embarrassing. When my dad and I finally came in, the waitress asked if it was for two, and I said no, for four. When my mom and aunt returned, it felt awkward knowing the restaurant had a restroom but didn't allow them to use it. That was very rude and disappointing. We did have a male server who was kind, and the food itself was good, so credit to the chef. However, after we finished eating, no one checked on us. I had to go up to the counter to pay, and no one asked if we needed a to-go box--I ended up getting one myself and packing my own food. It was decorated to the brim, but it felt like I was still in an old storefront in Poughkeepsie. With that being said, this was a decent option for Vietnamese food. I had the Pho, which had a delectable salty broth. The beef was also juicy and flavorful. Unfortunately, the sides - limes, basil, bean sprouts - were a little old. The noodles were also soggy. Perhaps it a style of pho that I'm not accustomed to, but it wasn't for me. Finally, I wished the Pho came out much hotter. I would certainly come back to try the other dishes, but will be trying other Pho spots when the cravings hit.
