I ordered rapid pick up and the Baja bowl entree is cold and is missing the sour cream and salsa which is served on the side of the bowl. The bag was checked off as complete by one of the workers, but is missing the brownie. The baguette looks like it is half eaten. I'm hoping it was ripped in half, but they should have cut it in half. I think I have a leftover half eaten meal here. After calling back and getting the run around they won't deliver the rest of my order. Wouldn't offer a full refund until I talked to a supervisor. Now I will supposedly get a voucher, but they should have given me my money back. Don't eat here. I'm throwing my meal away I'm so grossed out. read more

Solid 3 1/2 stars for this Panera. We went some family members on a Saturday morning, right before breakfast. People were falling out the door. Although the food was excellent (turkey artichoke hot pannini- delicious!) the service could have been better. The girl at the checkout tried to rope me into a 'rewards card' (although I like Panera, I don't go as often as the card would 'reward.') I was getting the upsell even after I said 'no thanks' 3 or 4 times. My coffee was left at the front counter, I wasn't really sure where I was supposed to pick it up. They called my name, and when I went up to retrieve my food, I was told it was still on the grill (WTF?) Obviously some mix up there - and when I picked up my coffee, to my dismay there was whipped cream on it. (after I requested no whipped cream). Oh well. All in all, although the food was standard Panera (very good) the attitude of the girls at the checkout could have been a little better. The immense number of people made it difficult for us to find seating, but we were able to move some tables together and work it out. I'll go again, just not at such a busy time. read more

After dining here in June, I ended up in the hospital. My soup apparently had a piece of plastic in it that got stuck in the back of my throat. My bf couldn't get it out so he told me to try and swallow it. After 15 mins of trying to swallow I finally got it down. It was stuck in my throat the entire time. Then it got stuck in my stomach and I got to spend 5 days in the hospital. I still love panera food just will never go to the delafield location. I've previously typically avoided Panera because the catered sandwiches that I've had at work meetings were just OK, and I felt that their menu seemed somewhat overpriced for what it was... Today, I thought a bagel sounded good, but that was a mistake. Ordered a bagel and cream cheese, which, seemed simple enough to me. The woman in the back seemed irritable from the get-go when she barked my name, but - no worries, I was there for the bagel. After getting to my car and realizing that one of the two components that I had ordered wasn't in the bag (the cream cheese), I returned to the counter and requested it... She asked if I had my receipt. I did not, but had literally JUST left moments before, and also - on the off chance that I was lying (I wasn't.... and I can't imagine it happening ever, really...), was that schmear of cream cheese coming out of HER pocket?! After rolling her eyes at my lack of receipt, she went and got a small container of cream cheese and threw it across the counter at me..... I was a bit shell shocked in the moment (who does that?!). Some people should probably make a point of working in kitchens that are closed off and do not require interaction with the public. With ALL of the bakeries/bagel joints/sandwich spots/coffee shops around, my recommendation would be.... venture 5 minutes in any direction to a different one. read more

Went in on Thursday with my grandparents, sister, aunt, and 2 cousins. I had the Chicken Poppyseed Salad with fruit (pineapple, blueberries, strawberries, etc.). It was delicious and low cal. The place was packed but the food and service were both very good. read more

Always been a big fan of Panera but was extremely disappointed with our last visit. Ordered mac and cheese and was brought a less than half filled bowl. It was an embarrassingly small amount of food. For $4.99 I was expecting the bowl to at least be filled halfway. Probably won't be back for awhile. read more

I love Panera and go there alt this was my first time at this location and it was awful. It took 20 minutes to get my food and even then when i got my food it didn't seem normal. The mac and cheese tasted great as always but the sandwich i ordered was cold... ew..... So i obviously was going to complain i asked for a manager. When i talked to the manager she was very rude and seemed irritated that i was talking to her when all i wanted was a warm sandwich. She focused more on the crew then anythings else. So thats when i started getting mad... I asked her, her name and it was Lee so if you ever in the area don't go to this Panera its a disaster especially if this lee lady is working. read more

I called on 5/15 to see if the gift card promotion was still going on. I was told it ran through the end of the month, with the promotional $10 being good 6/1-6/30. On 5/16 I called the restaurant shortly before 9pm to see what time they were open until. I was told 9:30pm. I said I would be in within the next 5 minutes to purchase gift cards. Upon arriving - one employee was sitting down eating, another was mopping the floor (sopping wet) right at the entrance as you walk in, and the 3rd, the manager, was straightening the front counter, blocking access to the registers. I waited until she was done and then proceeded to pick out 3 gift cards that would have totaled $50. I explained that I wanted to purchase $50 worth and get the $10 promotional card. She then informed me the promotion was over. I told her that it was not, and I had called to confirm. Then she said "oh, well we're out. We sold the last one earlier today." I found it interesting that a) she was too busy to look and b) it went from "the promotion is over" to basically "I'm too busy to look and can't be bothered with your $50 sale because we are closing in 1/2 hour." I called this morning to explain my disappointment and all i received was a "we'll talk to the manager.' No compensation, no 'what can we do to make this right' - Nothing - sad thing is, I REALLY needed one $20 gift card as a gift, and now I have to make a special trip to a DIFFERENT restaurant - not location - I will give SOME OTHER establishment my business, whether they are running a promotion or not. VERY disappointed - the last couple visits have not been great either - cold soup or soggy croutons on the tomato soup or both. Will NOT be rushing back! :( read more

Unfortunately, this has got to be the worst location I've had the misfortune of dealing with. We conduct software training classes at our business nearby and order fulfillment at this location is absolutely horrible. We ordered 5 meals today for lunchtime delivery. We ordered around 11:15am to beat the rush. We had this order delivered. we ordered 4 You Pick 2 meals and one wonton bowl. The driver was pleasant and upbeat. When we sorted through the meals though, we discovered the lid to the wonton bowl opened spilling the liquid contents all over the rolls and chips and a butter packet had fallen into the bowl. Naturally, it was the most expensive meal. I called Panera, but was directed by an automated message to call back after the lunch rush. Needless to say, it was unacceptable that 4 people were able to eat their lunches while we scrambled to get something else for the 5th person. This was not the first time we experienced issues with this location. As a matter of fact, this is our 3rd negative experience in the past year. The portions are shrinking, the prices aren't and customer service is non-existent. Spend you're money at Noodles, Qdoba or any of the fast food restaurants that are right in the same area. Maybe they'll appreciate your business. Disappointed....again. read more

Takeout order is constantly wrong! Always missing at least one item. After missing at least one sandwich on 5 different occasions I'm going elsewhere for takeout. How can they constantly forget an entire sandwich? Poor quality control. Very poorly managed. read more

Recently I used Panera Bread online ordering for a business order for the following morning. It was fast, easy and efficient. When I arrived the next morning at 7:25am, my order was correct and waiting in a large bag for me to pick up. Because I had already prepaid online, all I needed was to sign a receipt that listed everything on my order.
