Po boy
John M.

We came in just before kitchen close (9pm) and were seated right away. Unfortunately, it look about 10 minutes to get service. While slightly annoying, we were mostly just concerned that the kitchen was going to close on us. Luckily, it didn't, and when we did flag a server down she was super friendly and apologetic and the service was very attentive from there forward. They even comped us a desert for the wait! Over all the meal was delicious. My wife loves the blackened snapper and I tried the po boy this time. I think it could use a little more fish or less bread, but overall the seasoning was solid and the fish was flaky and delicious. We will be back!

Friday Fish Fry!

Fish Bones is one of our favorite restaurants. From Friday night fish fry to Sunday brunch, their food and service never disappoints. The atmosphere is great. We love sitting on the patio over looking the lake in summer. And popping into a heated igloo in the winter. The drinks are fairly priced. The food is always spectacular. And the Gumbo is honestly the best I've had (even after a recent trip to NOLA). If you haven't been here, what are you waiting for??? It's one of our top dinner spots in lake country!

This place is amazing for a unique dining experience. They have amazing options for breakfast and dinner. Our server, Arie, was wonderful. He took very good care of us every time, no matter how big the party was. The atmosphere is romantic, which is great. We will keep coming back.

I love the food here! It's always amazing and in true Cajun style. Dining out on the patio overlooking the water is wonderful. The service is always spot on and sitting at the bar to eat is fun to talk with the locals. They always have some sort of spicy pasta-which I love!

Fish Fry

Nice patio, my wife had blackened whitefish with dirty rice, I had the fish fry, both were good but the coleslaw was too spicy and the tartar sauce wasn't good (maybe a little pickle relish would make it better) service was ok. Second time my wife had the burger and I had red beans and rice which I really liked, but it needed some bread with it to soak up the sauce, reasonably priced and good portions.

Ragin' Cajun Pasta

I tried Fishbone's and sat outside on their back deck. Easy to get a table outside since we went early. Service was great and our waiter was very helpful. I started with a pineapple margarita which wasn't too sweet which I enjoyed. We ordered a bbq shrimp with grit cake special which was ok. Great size to share but wasn't our favorite. I got the ragin' Cajun pasta which had a ton of shrimp, sausage and chicken, but it was a very heavy meal. We ended with key lime pie which was great!

Great flavorful, food friendly staff, generous portions & reasonable prices. Fun zydeco vibe with music on the loud side. Great view from the deck of the lake. A great place to go for Sunday brunch!

First time at this establishment. I'm a newer beer drinker and I like to experience different…read morebreweries! There was four of us in our party and not one of us has been to this brewery. We were very surprised how long it's been open. I decided to get a flight. In the past, I've noticed when ordering a flight usually there's a dollar or two price difference (discount) when you order a flight, but at voodoo they charge you per beer on your flight. So there's no savings compared to other breweries that I've been to. We ordered three additional different beers at the table and all of them were amazing. We ordered two different cocktails at the table, and both of them were extremely strong and hard to drink. However, the presentation was great. As for the food between the four of us, we shared the pub pretzel, chicken, schnitzel, the meatball sub special, and the truffle quesadilla. All of us enjoyed our meals and would definitely come back. Two suggestions would be: 1. We sat at a four top table. When ordering the pub pretzel the pizza pan that they used to put the pretzel on took a lot of the table up. Very limited space. I would suggest getting a half sized plate and possibly hang the pretzel? Other breweries do this. If not the same thing with pizza, you can have a stand for it. You lose so much table space that we really had nowhere to put anything. 2. As far as the paper towels on the table. Those as well take up a lot of space. It's one thing when it's a larger table, but as for a four top, I would definitely try to think of a different option. We found ourselves constantly trying to re-organize and move water glasses, etc.

Great addition to Delafield. Good vibes- great outside…read morespace. I popped in to grab lunch while I worked. WiFi is fast and easy to grab! The food? I had the Brussels sprout salad- it was so rich that I could only eat half of it. LOTS of dressing- very salty. So, Meh. Service was friendly.

We started with the Arugula Radicchio Salad (perfectly dressed!) and a cup of Potato Leek Soup, then shared the Duck Leg Confit (it was the best duck we've had in awhile, and braised cabbage! those duck fat roast potatoes!) and the Beef Filet with potato gratin (yum!!), watercress and red wine jus. Every dish had a nice wood-fired flavor. Excellent quality across the board, and the prices felt very reasonable for what you're getting. Our server was excellent - attentive, knowledgeable, friendly without hovering. The support staff kept our waters filled and dishes cleared seamlessly. We appreciated the NA beer, wine, and cocktail options. I had a modified French 75 and loved it - it's nice to have thoughtful non-alcoholic choices. Someday I'd love to grab seats at the counter in front of the kitchen to watch the action. We will be back!

It was my birthday, and our friends wanted to take us to one of their favorite restaurants. This is a place they've been to several times and were excited to show off. They're especially known for their artisan pizzas. Food: Since pizza is their specialty, and two people in our group get very excited about a good slice, they ordered a Cheese, Sausage & Onion pizza and a Margherita pizza. The nightly special was Lamb Chop, which is one of my favorites, so I went with that. The last person ordered the Salmon. Overall, the food was very good. The lamb chop was nicely presented, cooked to the right temperature, and pesto-encrusted, which was a delicious combination. While it was good, it could have been a bit more flavorful. The salmon was enjoyed, though it leaned slightly dry. Both pizzas came out piping hot, generously topped, and very flavorful. There was plenty to share around the table. We had a little room left for dessert and ordered the Chocolate Nemesis. It was a good size and just enough to satisfy everyone's sweet tooth. They even added a candle to help celebrate my birthday, which was a nice touch. Service: Our server did a very good job throughout the evening. We were quickly settled in with drinks and menus, and the pacing of the meal was relaxed and well managed. We never felt like we were waiting on service. When they learned it was a birthday celebration, they went out of their way to present the dessert with a lit candle. It's a small gesture, but it really shows attention to detail. Atmosphere: The restaurant felt much larger inside than expected. We were seated in a separate room that we had entirely to ourselves. Each of us had an upholstered chair, which initially felt special, though it took some adjustment not to lean back too comfortably at the table. When we arrived, the room was quite chilly and drafty. We asked if the thermostat could be adjusted, which helped, though it remained a bit drafty. Overall, it was a very good experience and a place we would return to. Next time, I'd probably opt for one of the pizzas and request a table in the main dining room.
