Dakota, our server, did a fine job greeting us and taking our orders. I started with a very tasty spinach with hot bacon dressing salad. I lived in Milwaukee as a kid and it reminded me of the great dinners at Maders. Excellent salad! Our hosts had a dinner salad and the squash soup. All tasty. My wife ordered the Chix Jonathon and I the Chix Marsala with extra Mushrooms. The Chix Jonathon was terrific. My marsala was a disappointment in that instead of a thicker gravy type sauce it was a broth. It was watery and not real flavorful. The side vegetables were terrific. Our hosts each had ribeyes and they loved them saying the best steaks in weeks. We finished with carrot cake and key lime pie. I have lived in Florida for 30yrs and the Keys for a large part of it. We had to wait to be served even though the establishment was not busy. When we were finally served, we had to wait again. We had paid in cash and our server could not make (simple) change. He had to find his manager for help. We live less than two miles from the Pub, so our drive home was quick. When we arrived and opened the pizza boxes, I was surprised at how small (and cold) the pizzas were. I warmed our order up in our oven before we ate. I suppose the food would have tasted better if it had not needed to be reheated, but I wasn't that impressed with the quality of the pizza. In fact, I was very disappointed. I wanted to support a local restaurant. But considering our poor experience, the quality of the food, and the amount of money our order cost, I won't be going back.

Just didn't meet my expectations I suppose, but maybe it was a smaller serving than usual, given that we still received a large amount of jam accompaniment alongside it. Shoutout to our server, Charlie, who was very clear on our drink order recipients and friendly. Small tweaks could have made this experience a little better.
