Love the premise, but the execution is lacking. First time trying this place. Another build your own bowl restaurant. Great variety of toppings in order to build your own salad, or use one of their recipes. The breakdown of pricing and how much of each item you can pick was complicated. They really should find the average cost of the toppings and have a set price. We went through the line and ordered and then the woman at the end attempting to identify what was in my already tossed salad to be able to charge me appropriately was painful and unnecessarily difficult. In the end we paid about $32 for two salads. Quality was just okay. I think in the process of mixing our salads with metal tongs that the mixed greens got incredibly bruised and wilted. The roasted broccoli and the roasted chicken was cut in very large pieces and hard to eat. This wouldn't be my top choice to return to in the future. read more

Crisp & Green is a great alternative to all the other places I'm used to. I was greeted the minute I stepped in the door and the staff was super helpful answering all the dietary questions. They offer super fresh made salads, Açaí bowls and wraps that are super nutritious and healthy! I customized my salad with 2 kinds of greens, goat cheese, apples pumpkin seeds, pickled onions and blackened chicken. The chicken had a really nice char and was packed with flavor. There are soo many unusual dressings that are all creative fusions and taste out of this world! Trust me there's one for every palette! Everything is made in house daily and tastes amazing! This was the best tasting salad I've had in a very long time!! They had a variety of really unique drinks made from fresh juices that go nicely with your meal. Crisp & Green is located in Mellody Farms. We came by for dinner one evening after shopping in the area and we were looking for something light but filling, and naturally Crisp & Green was the perfect option. We came in just before dinner time and there were some folks there but as we looked through the menu, a bunch of folks came in for both carry out and to dine in. So great to know that if I'm in a rush, I can order ahead and just come in and pick it up. I opted to build my own bowl, it was my first time ordered a non-curated bowl so the process was a bit different as the order of what I could pick from wasn't really in front of me but I ended up with a salad that I really enjoyed. From the bowl itself it didn't look like much but once you got into it, boy does it fill you up. Overall, we had a great time, the staff was super helpful and patient and I had an amazing time enjoying dinner with my bjs and in a bright area with great windows to look outside. Crisp & Green is a nice addition to Mellody Farm! The concept is like Chipotle's, but for salads. The menu features a number of specific salads, or you can custom order one. Either way, you stand in front of the salad bar and watch as an employee builds your bowl. I opted for their "Ahhh ... Greek Out!" salad on my first visit, and it was delicious. My friend and I dined in, and had no trouble snagging a table during a weekday lunch hour. The restaurant was clean and overall it was a good experience. I'll be back to either try other salads or get another Greek salad. read more

I tried them for the first time for dinner tonight - I had the "Thai and Stop Me" salad and substituted the peanut dressing for green goddess jalapeno dressing - that was absolutely amazing. Very upset we ordered here before and love it but this time we got half of the dressing we got last time so not enough to cover the entire salad. For an $18 salad there should be two dressing if you're going to change to a smaller dressing container. The most recent photo is the smaller dressing container which is not enough for your salad. I got this to eat before a conference call - looks like I'll have to wait until 3 when I get a break to eat something else. Tried to call but no answer and no voicemail either. We've really enjoyed our meals from this place! We order here during the week when we're back to back on conference call without time to make lunch. It's refreshing, healthy and super filling. The salads are huge and have to potential to be a meal in a half! A few toppings that would be nice to add - peas, beats, more beans (chickpeas) and vegan cheese! PHENOMENAL!!!! I created a custom salad. My dining partner had the southwest salad. We both could not stop raving about how great our salads were. I highly recommend this restaurant. My first time at Crisp & Green and I have to say I was highly surprised. I been trying to find a healthier option in the area as one of my coworkers and I try to eat more clean. The different dishes really make it easier for someone to find something they like. I tried the Seoul Bowl and will say it was pretty good. I can't say the sauce was identically to Korean sauces but, it was pretty tasty. The service here was really nice since it was very quick and easy. The atmosphere or ambiance like I like to call it. Was very pleasant. The seating was great as it could seat many people. And you didn't have to worry about the noise level! I don't usually eat salads but in an attempt to start the new year right, I tried the Thai and Stop Me. Very fresh, generous portion of shrimp. That's one of my favorite healthy options.. the salads here are huge with so many toppings to choose from... the only down about this place is it can be pretty expensive but it's worth it. I say expensive because for two people the salads, smoothies and cookie came up to about 50$ or so for two. We split the bowls and got the hot sauce on the side since I don't like hot stuff. We are vegetarian so ordered two bowls. Crispy teriyaki and Seoul Bowl. The tofu was fab. The teriyaki sauce Devine. Went over the weekend for lunch and found the customer service lacking quite a bit. There were several young people working the front. No one greeted me or said how can I help you. I had never been there so I didn't know where I was supposed to order and there was only 1 customer at the cash register and another at a table. I stood by one end of the restaurant thinking I am supposed to order there, but no one came over or said anything, so I walked to the cash register. When I started to place an order, the girl told me that I was not supposed to order there, so I walked back to the other end and waited again. I looked around and there was no signage indicating that this is where a customer should place their order. Later when we were eating, I overheard another table indicating that he thought there were no customer service skills of the employees and I completely agreed with him. The food was OK, but I'd rather go somewhere else unless they make a big improvement. Given that there are so many other restaurants to go to in this area, this restaurant will NOT last unless management acts quickly to train all of these employees better. read more

I have had some great experiences at this location. But the last experience, it really tanked it for me. Ordered for online pickup for 5:50. While waiting at the location there would be customers walking in, ordering in person, and then leave with their meals. Others who ordered online would come in, wait, ask where their meal was, and then their order would be made. It didn't seem like they were sticking to getting completing what was ordered first. I attempted to ask an employee what the status of my order was, but would be ignored and they would walk away. After waiting for 45, we went up to an employee and finally asked to cancel our order. They said they couldn't do that and we would have to figure it out for ourselves online. Such a bad time. read more

I love this place. Very fresh, the menu is great for salads, warm bowls that are salads with cooked veg, smoothies, and interesting agua frescas--strawberry jalapeño is very refreshing. They are always replenishing ingredients, and the app works well to order ahead, grab and go. Nice space for lunch or quick supper. I came here twice before and on my third time I ordered an açaí bowl, I love their açaí but as I was eating it, it had a peculiar taste , a fruit like taste when I ordered the smores bowl. I continued to eat it despite the smell and as I took another bite there was a piece of chewed gum inside my bowl. it was awful I threw up immediately after. I called the restaurant three times and no response to tell them about my unsanitary experience.
