Rating is for the lack of service. During lunch we had to use the kiosk instead of ordering with a person. This doesn't work for everyone. There are 2 members of my family who really do better with the traditional counter service format, and my hands were full getting through that process. Then Panera got the order wrong bagging only one sandwich instead of 2. I handed a sandwich to my son, seated him, and returned to the kitchen and said that we were missing a sandwich and roll. The woman needed to see the one sandwich to believe that I wasn't scamming them. They could see my son, but they needed that proof that the tiny bag sitting on the table wasn't spandex that could've held 2 big sandwiches and baguettes. (Yes, sarcasm. I've managed restaurants and know when I'm being treated like a scammer instead of a customer with a legitimate complaint. Problem resolution skills are lacking.) After I stopped my autistic son's lunch, I should've handed her the food, requested a refund, and gone to Panda. I went with the fastest option, but I should've opted for a lesson in customer service. You give no service, you lose customers. They took 10 min to make my sandwich, and there was no apology. When your customers buy sandwiches from a kiosk, Mgmt needs to double down on courteous and prompt problem resolution. read more

Dining area looks like it hasn't been cleaned in days, bathrooms out of paper towels and soap. There's at least 8 employees in the kitchen and several standing around doing nothing so how is this place so dirty and disgusting? read more

Not one but twice, honestly done trying. Burnt bacon and wrong ingredients in my sandwich. It wasn't only my order; my friend's soup was luke warm more on the cold side and she waited 20 minutes to receive her sandwich. Don't worry she got a free cookie lol read more

If you have never been to Panera bread dont waist your time its an expensive, disgusting rip off and i had to spend $40 to find that out. You can feed 2 people at a site down restaurant for less then $40 and get more food This place is for the people that think just because its expensive its healthy when its no more healthier then subway. The first thing i noticed was that there large drink was the size of a small at any other restaurant. I then picked up my sandwich and already saw how small it was before i opened it the sandwich ended up being smaller then a subway 6 inch sandwich it had chunks of turky on it but was super dry. So i just payed $12 for a dry sandwich smaller then my hand. my girlfriend opened her steak sandwich and it was a little bigger but only had like 2 slices of thin meat on it and when she took a bite she had to spit it back out because it tasted like chemicals i also noticed the chemical tast the mack and chees was some what ok so i just paid $40 for a bowl of macaroni and a small drink DISGUSTING RIP OFF read more

Food is delicious. Chipotle chicken avocado melt is one of my favorites. I like to get the half combo with the creamy tomato soup. They also have the chipotle chicken as a breakfast item Another one of my favorites is the Mediterranean grain bowl with chicken. You get what you pay for.... good quality food. Great place for a meeting. All the workers are nice. The food was good and my company was great. Same set up. Order, take a # and you pick up your food. I serve and that's the only negative here. No server is necessary so they just assume all is good. Nobody really checks on you. read more

Went today to get a pre-order of 13 everything bagels for bagel Tuesday. They said they only had 12?? What??? How do you only have twelve??? My pick up was at 8 am, maybe they had to give someone one at 6 am from my order? But no, the manager assured me they only made 12 everything bagels. Are you seriously kidding me? I have had issues before trying to get everything bagels, so I tried pre-ordering and they can't even get that right! Mind blown. Hands down best place to eat in El Centro. To those who don't know El Centro is an absolute dump, don't bother with all these local Mexican eateries you will get food poisoning, stock with chain. Great service, tasty food every time. Highly recommended. read more

Placed an order online on 08/17 for my coworkers in Imperial. Picked up the order down in El Centro and when I got back to the office we were missing a sandwich. I understand mistakes happen but I called to inform the cafe of the error and was told the missing sandwich could not be refunded and I had to return to the cafe, a 20 minute drive to retrieve the missing sandwich! Totally unacceptable, and unbelievable that the store can't refund the missing item remotely. read more

I hate to give bad reviews, but I tried using a promo code that could be used online, however the website wouldn't take any of my cards (about five different ones). It seemed as if the site was glitching. I figured I'd call and order for curb-side or pick up. I told the employee over the phone the issue that was happening. He was really friendly and reassured me that I could go through drive thru; and still use the same promo code. I placed my order with him and he gave me the same total as the one online. When I went through drive thru the girl gave me a completely different total and I explained to her what had happened. She apologized and said the guy over the phone was wrong and she couldn't do anything about it. I was really frustrated due to the fact that I had called before placing the order to make sure the totals were correct. Also my food was a bit cold and I wasted almost my entire lunch trying to explain to the cashier the situation. read more
