Slowest Olive Garden I have ever been to!!!! Usually the service brings bead right away NOT this place. It took forever for the soup and salad. Other Olive Gardens usually bring that right out it's fast and easy that is why I order it. NOT this place they are probably going to the farm down the street to pick the stuff for the salad. We ordered the lighter menu option of eggplant parmigiana and chicken parmigiana. We had the minestrone soup and the salad. My soup had too much pasta and very little beans. It tasted ok, not great. The salad is a staple item that doesn't change and accompanied by hot breadsticks that always seems to make the food taste a little better. Our waiter Brandon was very friendly. The only negative so far is the air conditioning being too cold! Good thing I ordered the hot tea! Probably cranked down to 60! Bring a sweater! Music was mellow and not loud, making it easy to converse. The manager came by and asked how was everything and I asked for more hot tea and he said right away...not! Brandon took a little too long as I finished my dinner and I wanted the tea with my dinner. But I'm not holding that against Brandon as he was super busy and the manager could have easily given me some hot water! All in all not bad. Stop in this evening for date night with my husband. We were nicely greeted and sat down to order. Food arrived quickly. I had an issue with the chicken being overcooked. I let them know. The manager came and went above and beyond to fix the problem. I got a replacement that was spot on. I loved the way he handled his restaurant. Everyone was very nice. Stopped by on my way back home to Vacaville , the managers Leo and Ignacio were wearing their heart on their sleeve, showing extreme care for their customers. Took a friend out for her Birthday. First, we had to wipe down the plates with our napkins. Second, we ordered salad and the lettuce was freezer burned. I asked the waiter for a replacement and the second one was worst. Manager came by and I mentioned to him, this was the second salad we had been served and he informed us he was fully aware of the issue and was told by his supplier it was a bad season. I then told him that I could not believe you would serve this to your customers. After the food was served and my friend is enjoying her pasta she noticed a bug on her plate and luckily we had a server close by and she observed the bug crawling off her plate. I grabbed it with a napkins and Manager came by and apologized for all the inconvenience. So disappointed with this, specially when the manager had knowledge he had an issue and still serving the food. Never again will go to Olive Garden!! read more

Wow worst service we have ever had. I didn't get our servers name but she was terrible. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order. The salad finally came and so did our food. She never came and brought more bread sticks or filled our drinks. We had to go ask someone for to go boxes. We have never been treated like this at any other Olive Garden. From the moment I placed the order, everything went incredibly smoothly. The food arrived right on time, piping hot, and perfectly packed. Nothing was missing, and every single item matched the order exactly as requested--which is a rarity these days! The Lasagna Combo came with generous portions of delicious lasagna, creamy fettuccine Alfredo, fresh jumbo house salads with dressings and croutons, and of course, those famous breadsticks--24 of them! We also got a Sicilian cheesecake and a gallon of raspberry lemonade, which was such a nice touch. The delivery person was very friendly and professional, making the drop-off quick and easy. It honestly made hosting our event so much more enjoyable and stress-free--I didn't have to worry about a thing when it came to the food. For everything we received, I felt the pricing was very fair. This was my best experience at Olive Garden restaurants. I was in El Centro for work and two nights in a row I ordered takeout from them. The first night Andrea had packed my dinner, such a friendly lady, she even called me to make sure I was not gluten intolerant. And the second night I asked my order to be ready in two hours and it was ready on the dot when I got there. They pack food with so much care, it has the perfect temperature and they follow all your instructions. I will go back in two weeks and this time will dine in. read more

It's the Olive Garden so you should know what to expect. I go for the chicken parmigiana and salad. They have a decent Chianti for the price as well. Service is always good. Well - we contacted their customer service and laid out our concerns. Absolutely no response.- I guess we went to the dead letter box- or trash can. Why even post their canned concern if they aren't going to respond after you make contact. Update- Maybe they haven't changed their recipe- I saw a review with a picture of how it used to be- and it was posted after mine... Maybe they just don't have a good cook that follows the recipe all of the time.- Ah well we will never know- since we won't go back without a sincere acknowledgement of our concerns and compensation for the two terrible dinners that we were subjected to. In a new place and not knowing anywhere to eat. The girl behind the desk at our hotel mentioned Olive Garden and soup and breadsticks sounded perfect. It was at a mall area with tons of stores nearby. But parking was easy and close so in we went. We have eaten at Olive Garden many times and in many states-Some were great and some were horrible. It was my mom's favorite place to go so always has great memories for me. No waiting-we were shown right in to a booth. Not long after, our server comes by and brings menus, takes our order for waters and asks if we want to do a wine tasting. Olive Garden has their own wines-a rose', a Russo (a red Chianti type wine) and a dry Bianco (white). The white was a too dry, the rose' was good but more sweet than I wanted and the red was just right. My husband ordered the rigatoni with meat sauce and I got the eggplant parmigiana. We both had Zuppa Toscana soup with it. The soup came before the wine but was hot and wonderful tasting. Sometimes, the potatoes can be soft and mushy but tonight, they were sliced thin and perfect. The breadsticks were great also. Hubs pasta was just a bit more than al dente (another 2-3 minutes would have been perfect) but he didn't want the hassle of returning it and wasting the food. My eggplant was crispy and had just enough sauce and cheese. There was a side of spaghetti with the eggplant which was cooked perfectly. Our server was wonderful but seemed like she had too many tables and not enough time for each. (We saw her taking tray after tray to other tables). She was always pleasant and caring about how we were doing though. The manager did stop by before dinner was served to see how we were doing which is always nice and shows they care about the guests. The restaurant was super clean-I would definitely give it an A rating for cleanliness. We will definitely come back when we get back to the area. read more

We'll Vacation has come to an end so heading home back to Arizona, made it to El Centro California and we were ready for a bathroom break and something to eat for lunch, Olive Garden was voted for lunch, haven't eaten here in a few years and everything seems to be the same not a bad thing, I had the soup and salad which is never a let down and my wife Jen have the Alfredo which was very bland no flavor, my daughter Jordan had the spaghetti with meatballs, the meatballs were well not eaton and the spaghetti was some what eatable, The service was good for the most part staff was friendly and got seated in minutes. This is a update on my previous review: It didn't take long and I received a Notification from Olive Garden regarding my experience at one of there locations, The Olive Garden Team was very apologetic with the experience I had, and asked for information regarding on what Our party ordered, and a few other things to help with there training to make it a better experience for others in the future. Olive Garden delivered great service and food for a birthday dinner. Five of us shared a triple appetizer (loaded pasta chips, calamari and stuffed mushrooms) and we each had an entree, traditional lasagne, portobello mushroom ravioli or shrimp scampi. Each entree came with endless salad or soup and garlic breadsticks. The loaded pasta chips were not quite as good as the calamari and mushrooms, but still good. All of the entrees were rich and tasty. The salad is plain but fresh and crisp. Soups were good. For the birthday girl they gave a free dessert, a pumpkin cheesecake plus three cannolis - chocolate strawberry and vanilla. We recently had Italian food at an old school Italian restaurant in Los Feliz (Los Angeles), and honestly the Olive Garden food was better in some ways and easier on the stomach (not overly greasy). We signed up for their "e-club" to get their offer of a free appetizer with two entree order, but the emailed coupon arrived six hours after sign up so we couldn't use it the same night. This is a very well run and service friendly restaurant. read more

Zero stars if I could....This review is simply directed to management not wait staff. This has probably been the worst service I have ever received in my life. We went on a busy night and I understand that it's going to be a wait, however when you make a reservation (yes reservation, not call ahead seating) RESERVATION you shouldn't have the need to wait 45 minutes. The worst part is we had to ask after 45 minutes what was the hold up, the "manager" stated it will be another 45 minutes. He didn't even give us the courtesy to say "sorry i messed up" or "sorry for the longer wait I will try to sit you as quickly as I can" Nope, he didn't even look at us. Remember the people in Imperial Valley keep you in business and they deserve to get treated with respect just like you would if you went to any restaurant. I know Olive Garden holds instead to a higher standard, but having a staff like the one they have makes this place uninviting. read more

Let me start off by saying first that we traveled hours to visit family in El Centro and we went to go eat at this Olive Garden. I ordered a kids cheese pizza for one of my grandkids and it looked disgusting. It didn't have enough cheese but had a lot of sauce so I asked the polite server to take it back to get the problem fixed. This was the result. I also ordered 2 chicken finger dishes and both came burnt. Alfredo sauce was orange and didn't seem blended. The server was very polite and tried to help our situation. The General Manager did approach us however, looked bothered and did not take the time to apologize. What a disappointment, waste of money and time. The General Manager needs to learn his manners and appreciate customers taking their hard earned money to this restaurant. Everything was ok except the waiter dropped a glass of ice water on our table. I understand it was an accident but their reaction wasn't very nice. The waitress kept saying "it's ok" and "it's not a big deal" like it was our fault. An older lady came with a towel and told another employee that my wife was overreacting. All she did was get up because she got ice cold water spilled on her. She did not overreact at ALL. It even got into her purse and got paperwork wet. The original waitress was nice, but the reaction of the older lady kind of killed the experience. The older lady was just plain rude and shouldn't be in the hospitality business. read more

CROWDED because it's new. Rightly so. The food is always good here. Came here twice in one weekend I love this place so much. I like that this particular restaurant has open seating to the right... first come first serve for the bar and booths in this area. Instead of a 45min wait to be seated for dinner, ours was 10min because of this open seating option. All the food we had was good. Looks like they've added a few things to the menu. The $12.95 3 course meal was a good option with decent portions. Got to love their all you can eat soup or salad and bread sticks that comes with every meal. Fav. soup = Zoupa Toscana.... mmmm. Would come to OG just for this soup!! They ran out of cheese ravioli, so that must have been good. Had the seafood pene which was delicious and filling. Came back the two days later and shared the Tour of Italy with my BF. I usually get the Tour b/c it's huge portions and you get to try a little bit of a few different things. Rosato wine is the best of the 3 house wines they have. Sweet flavor without much aftertaste. Their specialty lemonades are good too. read more

The dish was basically a massive amount of noodles and a pathetic amount of everything else (maybe 1/4 cup of veggies and 3-4 oz of chicken). There wasn't enough sauce and the sauce wasn't flavorful.
