Honestly, this was one of the best experiences I've had at a restaurant! The food was great, and from the moment I walked in, I was warmly greeted by the cashier. My food was ready just about three minutes after I ordered, which was especially impressive considering it wasn't a small order! The dining area was also very clean, the tables and chairs were well maintained, and the music was at a comfortable volume. Overall, it was such a pleasant and welcoming environment that I ended up staying for over an hour just enjoying the atmosphere. I would absolutely recommend this Panera to anyone in the area! Asked the girl making the food where dine in patrons can pick up She said oh it's probably with the cashier. Ordered the four cheese soufflé and a strawberry banana smoothie. Everything came out pretty quickly, within about 6-10 minutes, and it wasn't too busy inside. The place seemed clean, especially for early in the morning. The soufflé was warm and tasted really good, and the smoothie was refreshing. No complaints! read more

My husband and I visited this Panera Bread to get an iced coffee. We're members of the Panera SIPS club. We came in got an iced coffee and went grocery shopping in the same strip mall with our drink. Okay Panera spot - There's plenty of parking in this shopping center and this spot is conveniently nearby other restaurants, groceries, etc. Amongst other Paneras in the area, this falls right in the middle for me as it's not the newest nor fastest, but it does serve up reliable panera favorites to expectation. The interior is pretty cozy and layout of where the drinks are does make it convenient to hangout and work here comfortably for a while when not in the office. read more

Like many other chain offerings, you kinda know what you're getting when you eat at a Paneras. I've enjoyed their soups and sometimes the sandwiches hit the spot, but I rarely get a craving to head there for a food fix. However, a friend told me how much she enjoys their avocado, egg white and spinach bagel as a somewhat healthy breakfast, so I decided to try it out when I was near there. I got there too late for breakfast on my first visit, so I had an early lunch of chicken noodle soup and a half sandwich of chicken salad. The soup was better than average, but they were a little skimpy on the chicken salad. Two days later I tried that avocado, egg white, spinach sandwich. Being the healthy choice that it is, it was somewhat bland, but very fresh. There were different young ladies at the cash register ordering area on each day. Both were polite and friendly. However, I'm not a fan of the food pick-up counter, where it seemed like us patrons were treated with indifference, and even left to figure out our own, which food belonged to which person. There's a strange "self-checkout" (sounds like looking in a mirror to me) for ordering but you still have to talk to a cashier to fix your order. You have to ask for ceramic even if dining in, they really want to waste as much disposable non-recyclable packaging as they can. The food is generally good here at any Panera, the coffee is only fresh sometimes. As with other Paneras this is a good place to get some work done with good WiFi and plenty of tables and chairs. There is a comfortable chair in front of a fireplace for reading, and booths for talking and eating. As with other Paneras you can see what the cooks are doing, and what they are not doing here is wearing hair covering. It's been a long time since I was a short order cook but we used to think it was important to keep hair from dropping into food. There was a pastry promotion that was 50% if you ordered a lunch entree with a drink. It was 1200AM earlire enough in day to say, ok to the pastry. BUT the pastry (Almond Filled Bakery Dessert) was OLD, Crumbly and SKIMPY on the almond pastry filling which was disappointing. The cost is $4.19 which should have been perfect. Also the soup that is with the combo is served in a bowl but less than half full. When my partner went up to ask it to be filled, response was ITS A CUP. O.K. but why serve in a larger bown half empty. Poor presentation and I would have ordered a larger portion if I had known, which I didnt. So I have learned not to order a bakery item unless I am there at 7:00AM or first thing and to ask what portion side is being offered. I was looking forward to the Caesar Salad with Chicken I ordered at this Panera yesterday but it was very disappointing. It consisted of stale, white lettuce rinds with a few small pieces of chicken, maybe 3 croutons and a container with a teaspoon of some kind of dressing - it certainly didn't taste like Caesar dressing. No one ever said that it expires at the end of January. It turns out it's printed in very small print at the bottom of the card. I work two jobs and not able to make it until this week, February. They would not honor or offer any amends. I don't do business with organizations that are not transparent. The prices are too high as well. The quality and the service here are on par with expectation, I think. People that work here are friendly, no complaint there. Big gripe for this location? The WIFI SUCKS. Went to this location about 2 weeks ago and they didn't get my order right so they mailed me a coupon for a free you pick 2. Went tonight. The store is currently understaffed, so it is being run by MANAGERS from other locations. Yes, MANAGERS. One of those (a female) was literally just walking back and forth behind the counter for 10 minutes while customers were in line waiting to order. She never did anything. (She's management?) I do like coming here. I know its a chain but it really deserve some acknowledgement. I'm a big fan of their " Pick 2 " deal. I have tasted most of their sandwiches and soups and like them all. I have also had their salads and there all pretty good. I like the fact that they have lemon at the fountain drinks counter. This location does get pretty full at lunch time till about 1:15, after that if you go you should be able to find a seat. I'm not too big on the pastry's but when I do get one I usually do the Cheese Pastry or the strawberry filled one. I will probably have a lot of Check In's here ;) read more

Went there last night and ordered the BBQ chicken Mac and Cheese. Got the order to my table took a bite and the chicken was cold. Out of the fridge cold they simply forgot to bring it back up to temperature. I asked one of the employees if the chicken is meant to be hot and he responded "I think so" went to the manager and asked they tell me that it should be hot and ask if I want it warmed up. Wait a few minutes and the new order comes up take a few bites taste good but then I find a pice of raw chicken. Go to the manager and show him he automatically responded that it's smoked with out looking at it. I'm in the industry and I could clearly tell the difference between smoked chicken and raw chicken. I asked him to feel the texture so that he could see that it's raw. What's really sad that this happened because the food they serve is brought in cooked and frozen so all they have to do is bring it back to temperature and present it to customers. There is no one actually cooking food in a Panera so we should not have cases like this. It was a slow Sunday night an hour before closing there was plenty of people cleaning but the restaurant still looked dirty. Takes more then a new menu and new wall decor to make a good restaurant. It is what it is. Panera has a consistent menu, it doesn't change. Today, I selected a Cobb salad and my friend had a strawberry salad. The salads were decent. The only thing I would have changed was having the dressing on the side. There was too much on the salad. We used a kiosk ordering system which worked well. The food was delivered to our table quickly. The restaurant is generally clean. I do have one issue with the overall taste of Panera's desserts. I have had a few different ones: sugar cookies, brownies, cakes.... they always taste adequate. The food to me is not great not bad just adequate. It's reasonably priced. I am also not the biggest fan off the coffee drinks that I would also call nothing special. My salad looked lazily thrown together, my wife's sandwich was in pieces. She had to reassemble it when she took it out of the bag. But the icing on the cake was my daughter's peanut butter sandwich. This place is pretty bad. I have never had a horrible experience here I have just had consistently bad food especially from this location. The size of the restaurant is very big & much bigger than it appears from the outside. This Panera Bread is located right off of Biesterfield road & is in the middle of a shopping plaza located next to Jewel. When I came in here I ordered a grilled cheese & a soup. The soup was absolutely terrible. It had no flavor & tasted like some one just microwaved week old soup. I ask myself how a restaurant could mess up a grilled cheese but sure enough this restaurant managed too. The grilled cheese was stiff & overcooked & it almost appeared as if there was no cheese on it. The staff here was good at keeping the place clean & they seemed friendly but that was about the only positive of the place. This last visit I had here will probably deter me from coming back here again. Overall the service was good & the staff was friendly but the food was absolutely terrible. They have horrible customer service. They do not put out orders out when they're ready. They leave them behind the register where they're forgotten. They also "check" to see if your order is correct and more than 2x I have the wrong order given to me. I used to really like Panera, but lately their quality has gone down, while their price just keeps going up. The staff here are, for the most part, friendly, though sometimes later in the afternoon I do get the feeling they are just about done with us customers (not that I blame them). The dining area is comfortable and spacious (especially now that they've expanded). The two things that are really stopping me from coming back, though, are product availability and price. It seems like every time I come in, they are out of at least one item I want: the candy cookies, a bacon souffle, etc. (They really struggle with keeping those souffles in stock, and 75% of the time I go in to get one they don't have it available and it will be a 20-30 minute wait for more - I've just given up). They also occasionally discontinue my favorite items, never to be seen again. Then there's the price. Holy crap, this is getting bad! They'd discontinued my favorite flatbread so I went a different route and got a shrimp salad and a cup of soup. Along with my small iced tea, this ran me $13!!! For a tiny salad and a cup of soup (I'm not a large person and I was still hungry when I finished)! I could've gone to an ACTUAL restaurant for that price. Their food really isn't worth the cost. It's glorified fast food. The soup is obvious made from a mix, and their breakfast sandwiches are greasy and taste a couple days old (the breakfast sandwiches cost more than Starbucks' and aren't as good). The salads aren't bad, but I can get better at Portillos. The only thing that is really worth the trip is the souffles, but they only serve them in the morning and most of the time when I'm there, they've run out. read more
