Okay Panera spot - There's plenty of parking in this shopping center and this spot is conveniently nearby other restaurants, groceries, etc. Amongst other Paneras in the area, this falls right in the middle for me as it's not the newest nor fastest, but it does serve up reliable panera favorites to expectation. The interior is pretty cozy and layout of where the drinks are does make it convenient to hangout and work here comfortably for a while when not in the office.

Like many other chain offerings, you kinda know what you're getting when you eat at a Paneras. I've enjoyed their soups and sometimes the sandwiches hit the spot, but I rarely get a craving to head there for a food fix. However, a friend told me how much she enjoys their avocado, egg white and spinach bagel as a somewhat healthy breakfast, so I decided to try it out when I was near there. I got there too late for breakfast on my first visit, so I had an early lunch of chicken noodle soup and a half sandwich of chicken salad. The soup was better than average, but they were a little skimpy on the chicken salad. Two days later I tried that avocado, egg white, spinach sandwich. Being the healthy choice that it is, it was somewhat bland, but very fresh. There were different young ladies at the cash register ordering area on each day. Both were polite and friendly. However, I'm not a fan of the food pick-up counter, where it seemed like us patrons were treated with indifference, and even left to figure out our own, which food belonged to which person. Not very friendly either. On the other hand, why do I find that I have to expect joyous greetings from those working?

There's a strange "self-checkout" (sounds like looking in a mirror to me) for ordering but you still have to talk to a cashier to fix your order. You have to ask for ceramic even if dining in, they really want to waste as much disposable non-recyclable packaging as they can. The food is generally good here at any Panera, the coffee is only fresh sometimes. As with other Paneras this is a good place to get some work done with good WiFi and plenty of tables and chairs. There is a comfortable chair in front of a fireplace for reading, and booths for talking and eating. As with other Paneras you can see what the cooks are doing, and what they are not doing here is wearing hair covering. It's been a long time since I was a short order cook but we used to think it was important to keep hair from dropping into food. I still think that but maybe it's just an old fashioned way of looking at hygiene. I wonder how often they wash their hands?

    Sad sandwich

8 dollars for this sad looking sandwich. Also how do you sell a stale cinnamon bun without even tossing it in the oven for 30 seconds?

there's like one tiny piece of chicken & the rest is cheese and onions on the frontega sandwich. thats just plain out disrespectful it's ridiculous. & i specifically said no onions they could never get a order right & everyone is just fucking around in the back. & the coffee is always cold!

    Lol!!

Awful. Waited 20 minutes for a cold breakfast sandwich. Asked for the over easy egg and got scrambled. Update. So decided to try this place again. Paid $15 for soup and sandwich and small drink. Sandwich was mostly cheese and bread. Comical at this point.

I ordered a bagel sliced with cream cheese. Got to work to find out no cream cheese. A simple order and they can't get that right.

I love to eat at this place, I love having their French onion soup especially if it's being served in a bread bowl.

The ingredients tasted fresh and carefully selected, resulting in a sandwich that was both satisfying and memorable. The service was adequate and consistent with what one would expect from a café--pleasant and efficient, though not particularly noteworthy. However, the ambiance was truly outstanding. The establishment possessed a warm, inviting atmosphere that greatly enhanced the overall dining experience and contributed to its unique charm. While the pricing remains somewhat elevated, it appears that the menu prices may have been reduced slightly from previous levels. Nevertheless, the quality of the cuisine and the exceptional atmosphere justify the cost. This is undoubtedly a venue I intend to revisit, and I look forward to trying out one of their many shakes next.

I was treating my parents for my dad's birthday month (My daughter has a lot of activities, lol) and the menu appeared to have something for everyone. The 22 minute drive to Itasca was so worth it! The restaurant, which is open to the public, is on the same property as the Itasca Country Club, which is not open to the public. You go down the stairs, through the developing pizza bar, and to the restaurant. The restaurant space itself is cozy, with beautiful, natural lighting, and lots of seating options. We were asked booth or table and seated right by the picture window with beautiful views of their ice rinks and golf course. The food was above and beyond my expectations! Between the 5 people at the table, I sampled the French Onion soup, Sweet & Spicy Brussels, Bacon Smash Burger, Pot Roast Grilled Cheese, Sweet Tees (Donut Holes), Peanut Butter Smore-o, and Verde Dulce. The soup was not salty as I find some iterations, the brussels had complex flavors with hot honey, bacon, candied pistachios, and crumbled feta. The pot roast grilled cheese was very flavorful, but my boyfriend did state he wished the sandwich had more meat in it. The Sweet Tees donut holes were cooked to perfection without being oily and the jam accompaniment was a perfect texture and level of sweet. The Peanut Butter Smore-o was creamy and decadent with its perfectly ratioed layers of ganache, peanut butter mousse, Oreos, and whipped cream. The Verde Dulce, though, was the delicious classic olive oil cake with pistachio gelato & that throwback of candied pistachios from my appetizer. Even better than the food, our server, Kara, was one of the sweetest, most attentive human beings! She answered all of our questions, refilled our fountain drink and iced tea glasses when they were at 75% without prompting, made sure my dad felt celebrated with a candle, etc. Her teammate who was in charge of clearing our table was also prompt and I appreciate her asking what plates she could take. Overall, it was a beautiful late morning/early afternoon with delicious food and impeccable service. 10/10 recommend!!!

I say kids but they were sweet young men. They give you instructions and off you go. Those stones are heavier than I thought they would be. It took a lot and I have the upper body strength of a kitten so... I was struggling. Eventually I got the hang of it. OR maybe the ice got slicker and my stone went further. I think that's actually what happened. Lol! They do allow you to take drinks and appetizers out to the ice. There are warming posts and they were used. Cuz I was cold. Dinner was fabulous. Service was good and just yeah. A great time was had. I ordered the Thai Chili Salmon. So delicious. My husband ordered the Blackened Cajun Chicken Pasta. It was so cheesy but he really liked it. Our friends ordered the Jambalaya and Grilled Salmon. They also ordered dessert to go. A great time was had. Totally worth the drive. I cannot wait to go back. There is a lot for parking.
