Long line during lunch, but it moved pretty quickly. Haven't been here in a while and it seems pretty updated with a different menu than I remember. I got the Hot Honey Brisket Sandwich to go, which came with a chocolate-dipped strawberry, and a regular soft drink on the side. The sandwich was nice and warm, and all the ingredients went well together. The brisket was pretty good, but I couldn't really taste much of the hot honey. Overall, it was still a good sandwich and I'd get it again. Next time I'd like to try their Burger Bowl since it's new on the menu.

Haven't been here in a while, but it's as good as I remember. The food was yummy and served quickly! The workers were very friendly as well.

I was on the way to O'Hare airport in Chicago and wanted a healthy alternative to eat before I hopped on a plane so of course I pull up Yelp and I search. Café Zupas came up and I thought wow she looks interesting especially since everything was made fresh by hand... I wish I had taken pictures before I started to dig in but I was so hungry. I forgot to do that so here's the pictures that I do have... JC was extremely helpful super patient being that we never been there before there's kind of a learning curve... And his service was impeccable. The whole restaurant was extremely clean bathrooms clean, and the place was packed. That's how you know you got a good spot and being in the Midwest there needs to be a lot more healthier options available and this is a great one. They also have an app where you can earn points get free food in order ahead and skip the line! I will definitely be back I was the best quinoa, warm bowl I've ever had

I know I know it's a chain. But have you been here. Did you know each meal comes with chocolate covered strawberries? How can say no? Have you had the mango berry salad with roasted chicken? Fast healthy food at its best. The lobster bisque isn't bad either. Plus outdoor seating. I'm good

My parents often grab lunch to go from this spot so naturally when I'm in town they suggest it to me. It's really very reasonable priced for tasty soups and sandwiches. It's super convenient to order as you can place it online and simply go inside to pick it up from a shelf. The soup and sandwich seems to be a good deal where you get a full cup of soup with a piece of bread and full sandwich. They also throw in a chocolate covered strawberry for dessert. I really like its freshness and will definitely grab food here again to try more of the menu.

It really must be hard times in the restaurant business to resort to getting help like this. I cannot recommend this play and I will not be going back. Maybe the original shop in the city is better. The sandwich itself won't be reviewed bc of the bitterness and rush in which I came to write this review.

And, dare I say, better version. Except for their avgolemeno soup. Such a weak travesty. Please fix this. It's just a watery mess. However, everything else is delicious. I ordered the Greek Chicken with their lemon-butter rice. They debone the chicken and serve atop a mountain of their rice. If also had their potatoes (which are good) but the rice is magical. The first time we went, they had a serve yourself soda fountain and they since got rid of it and sell soda in bottles and cans. They do still have a self-serve water station. Once you order, staff will bring to your table, so please tip when you order or leave on the table as they do come by and clear your table as well. Since there was a total of 11 and the seating is first come first serve, we decided to call to see if they had reservations. They did take our name and reserved a table. When we arrived we noticed a table was reserved and we were informed that it was our table. We sat and looked over the menus. When we were ready my 2 boys and I went up to place our order. My one son has major allergies so we spoke to the chef and he came back out to recommend the dishes he can have. It was great that he did so and gave us confidence that my son would be able to eat without worrying too much about the ingredients. I ordered the Shrimp Kalamakia with a side of the Greek Rice. My son with the allergies ordered the Pork Kalamakia with Greek Rice and no pita, my other son ordered the Traditional Pork Gyro with Greek Rice. The sides we ordered: Saganaki Fritters and Spanakopitakia. My son that ordered the Pork Kalamakia devoured it. He said it was tender and juicy and probably could have eaten 4 skewers. My Shrimp Kalamakia was nicely charred and seasoned, I squeezed some lemon and it provided a nice tang over the seasoning. The Lemon rice pilaf was soft and cook just right and was nicely balanced. I had one Saganaki Ball and it was delicious. My son had the Pork Gyros said it was really good and the Tzatziki sauce was creamy and rich with flavors. My in-laws bought the table desserts and I got the Baklava and my wife got Loukoumades (Greek Donuts with Nutella) and both did not disappoint. I really loved the citrus honey syrup in the Baklava. The Loukoumades had a crispy shell and nice a fluffy on the inside and the Nutella amount was perfect. This place is very good and well worth the price in my opinion. I loved the fact that they took the time to make sure my son with allergies was safe.

The food was fresh and satisfying. Portions were enormous, and many dishes are easily large enough to share between two people. The flavors were mild and balanced, which I appreciated since nothing was overly salty or heavy. The sauerkraut was good, although I personally would have preferred it to be a bit more sour. Well- let's just say he wasn't too warm or welcoming and could barely grunt a greeting. Hmm. We were quickly seated in a very japanese-looking restaurant (a good sign). We ordered two apps - the chicken karaage and the agedashi tofu. I ordered the spicy tonkatsu pork ramen (not on their web menu, but still...). First demerit- my ramen arrived before the apps did. Seriously. Seriously? Me with a main dish and my hubby/friends bereft of food? Oh wow. I didn't touch it until the apps arrived a couple minutes later - finally their mains arrived. Yay. The apps? Well, the chicken karaage was really fried chicken breast meat (no bones; not a prob for me, but hubby - a japanese man by birth- was not impressed). The agedashi tofu was yummy and quite good. Nice! Ok- my ramen was - yes- spicy and oily, as any good ramen should be. The bad part? I could tell the bean sprouts weren't fresh as my sensitive digestive tract let me know - fast- that the sprouts were "not" fresh. Yikes. Not a good thing - hence the demerit. Ok- first- we may come again. But gosh. the workers really need to be a bit happier to be there- or - if they can't be pleasant - keep them out of the public's eye. That would be a big help- after all, this was our first visit- and it wasn't too welcoming - it would have offset the bad sprouts, you know?

Thankfully, Phat Phat stepped in to fill that gap. We drove 30 miles for a late lunch around 2:30 p.m. to hopefully beat the crowds. There's a huge parking lot in the back, the building itself is incredibly unique, and the interior is absolutely beautiful. It feels modern while still being warm and inviting. We wanted to try a variety of dishes, so we ordered two baskets of the Shanghai Soup Dumplings, the Enoki Mushroom appetizer, Chicken Fried Rice, Phat Phat Chicken, Nasi Campur, and finished the meal with the Mango Sago. Everything was incredible. The soup dumplings definitely filled the void that Din Tai Fung left behind. Every dish was fresh, perfectly seasoned, and served piping hot. The Mango Sago was the perfect palate cleanser and a refreshing way to end the meal on a hot summer day. The standout for me was the Enoki Mushroom appetizer. That will be a must-order every time we come back. We also have Indonesian family and have visited Bali, so we were excited to try the Nasi Campur. It was spot on. I showed her the ad, where it specifically states the Schaumburg location is participating, and gave her the offer code, which is valid for the entire month of August. She continued to object and made a big production of making a phone call to find out if they'd let her honor the advertisement. She couldn't reach whoever she was calling, and told us in an annoyed tone that she'd honor it THIS TIME, indicating that we shouldn't bother returning to take advantage of the deal the store is advertising. The whole experience was very off-putting and I think customers and corporate need to be aware that locations may not be honoring the promos that are being blasted out in sponsored ads. My friend and I each drove 30 minutes for lunch and chose our restaurant solely based on this offer. The food was good, but the awful customer service definitely left a bad taste in our mouths. Two weeks later, Corner Bakery is still promoting this deal at the Schaumburg location. They have quite an extensive menu offering both Korean & Chinese entrees. It was tough deciding what to choose but we ended up ordered the Jjampong + Jjajangmyeon combo, Pork & Stir-Fried Squid, Galbitang, and Soy Garlic Fried Chicken (Bone-in). Out of everything, the Jjajangmyeon was the clear standout. The flavor was so good that I'd honestly come back just for that alone. Absolute comfort food. The Jjampong didn't quite hit for me -- it wasn't bad, but it felt a little bland and lacked the umami I usually look for. I've had better elsewhere, so I'd probably skip that next time. Similarly the Pork & Squid stir fry just didn't pack the right punch for me so I would pass too. Other highlights were definitely the Soy Garlic Fried Chicken and Galbitang. The chicken was packed with flavor, perfectly crispy on the outside, and juicy on the inside -- a must-order. The Galbitang was comforting and hearty, with about four bones in the soup, super tender meat, and a clean, soothing broth. The space itself is small with only four tables, and we lucked out getting one. It has such a cozy, homey feel -- like you're sitting in her kitchen while she cooks you a homemade Korean meal. Service was excellent too; they checked in often and kept our drinks refilled. Overall, a great start to my 2026 food reviews. I'll definitely be back -- especially for that Jjajangmyeon and Soy Garlic Fried Chicken. I can't wait to try more of their dishes.
