I haven't been to Panera in a while, so decided to go. I've seen their commercial on TV for their new Asiago Baget sandwiches, which looked intriguing. I ordered the Zesty Tuscan Asiago bagel sandwich... and it did not disappoint!! Wow! I never have been one to get excited over a sandwich, but this was delicious!! Everything about it was perfect, and coming from me, that says a lot! Served warm, the bagel was the perfect texture, perfectly cheesy in the Asiago kind of way, arugula and sauces along with the meats - fantastic!! If you haven't been here in a while, try this sandwich. I highly recommend it!! read more

I will start off strong with my delicious broccoli cheddar soup bowl! My acquaintance thought it was very scrumptious!! my mac & cheese was flavorful with lots of fresh cheese!! I have to mention my reasoning for 4 stars was all bc I of the Asian salad, basically lettuce unacceptable!!! So 9$???? Smoothies were good but a little bananay which is fine but could have more strawberry!! Other then this everything was delightful and I enjoyed most of my meals!! #panera read more

This used to be a Favorite Place. Last night was our last visit. Chicken bacon flat bread pizza was awful. Chicken salad was awful. Chicken on both was stale and rubbery sauce did not taste right. When we took it back to the counter, they said maybe the chicken and sauce are bad today? We can write your name on a piece of paper so you can come back sometime, and we can make for you again. No offer to refund. Inside is not as clean as it should be or used to be. Staff seemed to care less about anything. Avoid this location and this chain restaurant. Eat Local. read more

This was a decent Panera restaurant. Foods were tasty and quick; however most of the tables were dirty (mostly food crumble). Was able to find a cleaner table outdoor and had to wipe it down. Ordered a chicken tortilla soup along with chicken avocado melt. They were tasty and filling, first time trying the tortilla soup and it wasn't disappointing. Overall, this place serves great food but need to clean the tables often especially during this time of the pandemic. read more

They were very rude when I walked in, neglected me service, didn't want to make the food I wanted even though she mentioned they had it in stock just didn't want to warm it. Just ate here at about 7 pm with a bus group roughly 40 kids got us in and out in about an hour. The food and service was really good

A couple of my friends wanted to try Panera so we gave it a shot. We all got something different so we could try a little of everything but nothing was good. Everything was bland especially the pizza. The sandwiches were small, stale and had no real flavor. It was no Picasso's that's for sure. Also everything seemed really expensive especially for the serving size. I did like the selection of drinks from the self serve area and the decor was pretty nice. That being said it still wasn't enough to pull my rating up from a 1 star. read more

This was our first experience at this location. We're been to Panera lots of times before, and his experience was pretty consistent with the usual. I find the pricing to be expensive, especially in comparison to what it used to be. It is a nice alternative to a more traditional fast food restaurant. The cashiers were friendly, and greeted us. There was a lot seating, so even though the parking lot was slammed, were able to find seating immediately. The store was relatively clean despite the large crowd. Our food took around 5 minutes to prepare, which wasn't bad at all. Our buzzer went off, but they had to re-do my sandwich, because it was burnt. This was on their own accord, so there was only a few minute difference between receiving mine, and the other two meals. I asked for a modification on my sandwich, and it was nice that they were able to accommodate that. My tomato soup and sandwich were good. My daughter enjoyed her Mac and cheese, and my husband enjoyed his black bean soup. The list the caloric information for all the selections as well, which is a nice perk. The staff has no personality. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich that was microwaved and stuck to the cardboard they used in the microwave. My daughter had a salad that was made from packaged ingredients and included a few stray items and a few bits of old and wilted lettuce. I really enjoy Panera overall however this Peach Street (Summit) location is well below the brand. First, poor customer service. Peak of dinner and they are out of bread bowls. Advised I would take the soup just in a bowl. By dropping the bread bowl, it only took 10 cents off the price. Really? So I can hand you 10 cents and I will get a bread bowl? Next, we ordered the broccoli cheddar soup with the baguette. They gave me a fraction of the normal sized baguette. It's pretty clear I was at the end of the line and they didn't feel like breaking off another piece (and this is the same order where they are out of bread bowls). Next, the soup was very bland and had more a white color than the traditional cheddar yellow. Not sure how this happens as I see them dump the soup from a bladder. Over all, the customer service and product are subpar at this location. In addition, the restaurant is empty and rather dirty. It's apparent that the issue here frankly is poor management. The culture of the staff gives off the vide that they lack concern for customer service or service recovery for that matter. With all of the options in the area to eat, this Panera will likely suffer. read more

This particular Panera Restaurant on upper Peach Street a mile north of I-90 is a disgrace to the chain and the Covelli restaurant chains. We stop there once a week and it is always a crap shoot if the order is correct or the food is good. Today we stopped and ordered. The employee behind the counter had to cut a cinnamon roll from a fresh pan. She obviously could not figure out where the correct place to cut was. By the time she was done it was half the size it should have been. Bringing it to her attention only brought severe case of attitude. She really must hate her job!! My order was totally incorrect. Sausage missing from Sandwich and over easy egg was hard boiled!!! NO YOLK folks. We hold out hope that Sammy will come in and clean house someday but in the meanwhile we may have to go to Cracker Barrel half mile down the street. The only reason i visited this place is because i had a gift card. Allow me to say if i had spent my own hard earned money on this over priced garbage i would have been livid. I got the chicken tortellini. Gross. I don't even know why i ordered this it was one of the few things that sounded appetizing. A small piece of baguette with it not appetizing at all. Urine covering bathroom floors. Just ridiculous. Have a little pride. This Panera is not run well. Slow service, no one greets you when you're waiting at the register to order. The kitchen crew are not organized and take a long time. Today I waited 17 mins for a salad. Just another Great Panera Bread. Clean. Fast. Delicious Food. Had little mistake. Ask for chicken salad sandwich-got a chicken Caesar Salad instead. I love Panera! I visit Panera often and do a large amount of catering annually with Panera. On a road trip and felt comfortable to what Panera consistently provides so it's a no brainer to stop and grab lunch. That all being said, this was the worst Panera I ever experienced. Stopped at 3pm (today) and this place was empty, dirty, and those that were there were in line a while waiting. All three regular coffees (regular, robust and flavored) were bone empty, and hot water was empty. Got on the road... opened to go bag, cold steak and cheddar panini. I love food that should be hot, to be hot. The iced tea was great. I am thankful for my local shops being great. I guess it's good for the brand to have someone shocked to find an "off restaurant" that is away from the norm quality, service and consistency. This spot in Erie has work to do. Ps: I listened to what appeared to be female manager telling staff "if it's after 7 and they are in line, just tell them we are closed". Little concern for the customers at this spot. read more

This was the most disappointing restaurant experience/purchase I've had in a very long time. They put chicken on my vegetarian sandwich and didn't give my friend the pastry she payed for, and consequently refused to believe that they had put chicken on my vegetarian sandwich despite the clear presence of chicken. Panera Management, I just left your establishment and your Supervisor Brittany was completely rude. She apparently was speaking to me and some drive thru customer at the same time and I could not decipher whom she was speaking to. She uttered under her breath to her co worker what a dumb a**. My sandwich was tiny! It looked like they cut a sandwich into four pieces and gave me two. Definitely not the whole sandwich I ordered. My sandwich also came without lettuce or tomato. When I took the pathetic sandwich back up the woman said "what is wrong with it". When I told the shift supervisor that this woman was not very nice I as told "no, she is kind". Just stood in line for over 10 minutes waiting for one sandwich. Then the guy in front of me (who did not order a turkey bacon bravo) tells the guy behind the counter " umm oh yeah I meant to order something else" I think it had like bacon on it? So the guy behind the counter gave him MY sandwich (it happened to be the same kind that the guy wanted). When I asked the guy behind the counter why he gave my sandwich to the other guy, he said "oh we made a mistake on his sandwich" - nope, that is not what happened. He flat out lied to my face. Customer service is awful!!! Food is great when they get your order right. My 9 year old daughter loves that place. Our latest visit was a train wreck. My order was completely wrong (the girl rang it up wrong cause she was busy talking with coworkers). Then had to wait 5 min in line again to ask them to fix it and for the diffrence in price to be refunded. Then after waiting 6 or 7 min more for a manager she refunded the 3 dollars diffrence only to set down to eat and noticed she charged me more than the first time I was overcharged. Had to go stand in line once again to have that fixed. So by the time I sat down to eat dinner with my daughter she was complete done eating and my soup was cold and I no longer even wanted my dinner. Needless to say I hate going there because something usually gets messed up. read more

Maybe it was just a particularly bad night for this Panera, but it was not what I have come to expect from the chain, from start to finish. I visiting family in the area and stopped in to get some take out. I walked up to what I thought was where I was to order (and where there was an employee standing.) She looked at me and continued talking to her coworker so I moved to the next register. When no one came I went back to her and interrupted her conversation by asking "Where do I order?" She then asked if she could help me. I asked about the Flatbread sandwiches and were told they were out. Out of Flatbread at a bakery/restaurant. I guess it happens. So I ordered and went and sat down at a corner area with some comfortable chairs. The first thing I noticed was that the table in the center of the chairs was dirty. The second thing I noticed, in plain site, was that the receptacle where customers return dishware right outside the window was one plate away from overflowing. My pager buzzed and I went to the "pick up" spot and there is a bag sitting on the counter. I put my pager in the return and waited for someone to announce my name and after a few seconds I looked in back, got eye contact, and asked if the bag was mine.
