Almost every order is missing items (usually side bread, toppings on soups or salads, etc.) but I have tried to be supportive. In the past I haven't been a huge fan of Panera - I think that they are overpriced for what you get. I walked in here at 19:30 and for a brownie that has been sitting around all day it sure was soft in the middle with a mild crunchy exterior. I washed it down with a refreshing Blood Orange Lemonade. The thing with any variety of Lemonade it is so friggin easy the sugar the hell out of it, but Panera seemed to have found that perfect middle ground where you can taste the tart sweetness without the "I hate myself for putting this in my mouth" excessive sweetness. 1/27/18 1st time here. Brought 4 of my nephews to eat here. There was only 1 cashier, it appeared they were short staff. They messed up on 2 of our orders. My sandwich was supposed to have flatbread & 2 of my nephews orders had too much black pepper & it was spicy for them. Customer service is ok, not excellent. Fortunately, we came prior to a large group (track team) came in. Many waited for their orders longer than normal. They skimped on my Fuji salad - no bueno! I don't know that I'll come back. I am a regular at the Puyallup location & they provide excellent customer service & don't skimp on your salad or sandwich. I filled my cup up with some delicious lemonade, threw the straw in, sat down and had a sip. It was not until I took a big swig I noticed the cup felt funny on the side that was facing away from me. Ordered a large breakfast order for our board meeting last Saturday. This order was over $70. The food was fine, however, the 8 breakfast sandwiches we ordered were not labeled. We had to open each sandwich to determine who's was who's. Did NOT appreciate having to touch each sandwich to identify them. I have been going to this Panera bread restaurant for a while now. I was on my lunch break. but today I scheduled my order, and got an email back at 6:55 saying it was ready to go, so when I arrived at 7:05, said I was here for pick up, I had to wait around 25 minutes before I had to call and ask where my order was. They said that they will check on it, and I waited another 5 minutes before, I received it. I honestly can wait, but to get an email that says it's ready and get there and it's not . While I was waiting 4 people, arrived got there order and left. When I had finally gotten mine, they told me it was that their printer wasn't working. It began on a Thursday morning. I had just got out of class and was craving a Mediterranean sandwich. I always go to the Panera bread in Seattle south lake Union region but I wasn't up for the drive and had absolutely no excuse to go to Seattle so I settled for the one at the commons. My order was called I grabbed my bag and left. Once I got home I took everything out and just looked at it because I knew I was going to DEVOUR what was in front of me! I unwrap my sandwich and open up my salad. The aromas hit me right away and I know it's about to go down. Right when I was getting ready to pour the dressing over my salad I noticed something white in the corner. I pick it up and it's a piece of chicken!! For anyone else it probably isn't a big deal but I'm a vegetarian so that was serious to me. I called them right away and spoke with the Manager Sarah. I told her what happened and she immediately apologized and let me know that she understood the severity of the situation to me and offered to make it up. I told her I'm not looking for anything in return but for them to be aware for next time. She put me down for a free pastry next time. I love Panera Bread. I've been to Panera in different locations and have always enjoyed the bagels and coffee. However, the Panera here in Federal Way is SOOOOOO slow. On 3 different occasions I've gone to get a simple toasted bagel with cream cheese and it's taken way, way too long to get my order. I should say that I know I wasn't the only customer in the store, but they weren't super busy. Also i noticed that those there before me also looked frustrated at how long their orders were taking. On the 2nd time I was there and they were so slow, I went up to a lady who I think was a manager and she returned with my bagel apologizing that my order had been ready, but just hadn't been called. Dang. In watching those behind the counter as I waited and waited, I noticed that the workers didn't move quick, none of them did. It was as if they were in the comfort of their own home cooking for themselves and time just wasn't important. I'm currently in the FW Panera. I placed an online order at 9am this morning for pick up at 630pm. The items I ordered got sold out instead of set aside. I was offered a refund but nothing else for my inconvenience - fail. I take the refund and am currently waiting for them to make some sandwiches. They are pretty busy but I am counting 7 employees - fail. I am listening to the employees badmouth each other for dropping the ball and using profanity names to describe the mistakes and how they work...I am a customer and shouldn't be hearing this- fail. Last month I placed a curbside order for 6 people. When I got home, one of the items was missing. I contacted customer service via the website and no one responded. About a week later, I tried contacting them via Facebook and I got an immediate response. The person helping me was very nice, and offered me a free "Pick Two" for my troubles. Today, I went back to redeem the free Pick Two (sandwich & salad), and also picked up a second Pick Two (sandwich & soup) for another person. The food was brought to the car in a paper bag that was stapled shut, so I didn't bother checking it. It was a smaller order this time... how could they get it wrong. Well, I got home an sure enough, on one of the Pick Two orders the sandwich was missing. I'm so disappointed in the customer service from this location that I don't know if I'll be going back again...at least not for curbside/take-out orders.
