    Mediterranean Salad

This was today's chosen lunch stop on my way out to Bremerton, WA from SEATAC. Located just outside of Tacoma, the restaurant is located in a strip mall of sorts with a wide assortment of other restaurants. The service was quick and all the salads, bowls, etc are fully customizable. The salad was pretty big and filling. This may become a regular stop on my way out to Bremerton & Keyport.

First meal here as I'm here for a swim trip for the weekend, and I couldn't have asked for a better meal. The service was incredibly kind, and it was extremely easy to customize the ingredients that I wanted. The staff checked in on guests kindly and politely; and even asking where I could find a water cup, they were able to get it for me instead. Thats not even talking about the food! The ingredients were extremely fresh, the portions were huge, and it was a great lunch to power on through the day.

Santa Fe bowl one avocado slice, where are the pita chips?
    Claire M.

I used to LOVE Chopped Leaf. I've been going here since they first opened. The sandwiches, bowls, and cookies used to be so tasty. Their food has gone downhill. In our Santa Fe bowls my husband got ONE avocado Slice. I got two small slices. They used to give half of an avocado and a ton of pita chips. The Santa Fe Bowl also comes with Pita chips and my bowl literally had two tiny pita chips. They raise their prices then give even LESS food that the bowls are supposed to come with. Huge disappointment. The service was okay. I understand that they were busy. I'm just so disappointed that their bowls got smaller, prices are way higher, AND they give less of things that their bowls are supposed to come with.

The girls were nice and the place looked clean. Food did take bit to come out but let me just say something here: My tuna sandwich had a bunch of hair baked into it. I think it was cat or dog hair. I went to take a bite and the hair glistened in the sun. I thought, at first, it was probably an eye lash, and I tried removing it. Definitely toasted on there. Upon further inspection, there was a bunch of hair all over it!! I took a video and showed the girls working there. They said they couldn't issue me a refund because the manager wasn't there so they took down my info. I really hope they toss that bag of bread out. Feeling nauseous the more I think about it. The cluster of hair really sent me though. Stay safe my friends.

Decent prices for a salad in Washington (e.g. $10-ish). Not much to say about the service, standard nice front register staff. The only complaint I have is the salad had WAY too much dressing, and hardly any of the other toppings (cucumber, green apple, cheese, avocado). So overall I was a little let down, but I'd probably try them again if I was in the area. The restaurant did have a cute atmosphere tho; relaxing after a long day of conference meetings.

    Cranberry pesto chicken sandwich

Was SO excited to eat here and try it but wow, what a disappointment. My teriyaki wrap was big and pretty good but there wasn't any chicken in it like I ordered. The cranberry pesto sandwich looks pathetic and the bold buffalo chicken sandwich looks like it was missing a piece of the bread. They never gave us our ranch or teriyaki sauce. Seemed to be more focused on the DoorDash orders. The order took over 20 minutes and the person working gave us a few free cookies for the wait. Big deal. Save your money and go somewhere else. Definitely won't go back.

I was on travel and happened to find this place close to my hotel. I had the Bangkok bowl which was very tasty and refreshing. This place great healthy option that I'll definitely go back to. Staff was super helpful & friendly. The guy that helped me was very knowledgeable about the menu.

In fact maybe she needs to not be in front of customers at all. My girlfriend and I stopped for lunch after a worker at Home Goods told us about this place. I ordered the tofu sandwich, she ordered the BBQ pork sandwich and then I got an order of chicken wings in the "Asian Zang" sauce. I saw that that the most popular items are denoted with a star (I CAN read) but I asked the gal at the counter which sauce SHE preferred. She proceeded to tell me in a b$tchy tone that the 2 most popular flavors are noted with a star. Yes I told her I could see that but is there a particular flavor that SHE likes or recommends? At that point, just lie or tell me that you don't eat chicken or anything other than just repeating yourself and telling me that the 2 most popular flavors are denoted with a star. If you are having a bad day, force yourself to smile and be pleasant or go hide out in the kitchen or the bathroom. Don't take it out on your customers. The food was a 3.5 but the customer service was a 0. The guy who came out and served the food to us was fine and he seemed to be having a better day than the girl working there. Onto the food: I had requested no pate on my sandwich. There was a lot of mayo in this Vietnamese sandwich, more than I have ever experienced. But that wasn't a bad thing as I like mayo. Some others would say it was too much. The bread was super fresh: crispy outside, soft inside. The wings were delicious. They came out hot and I appreciated that they gave us gloves. Will I try it again? Yes I would. For now I'm rating this place a 3 but will revise my rating when I try it again and if the customer service experience improves.

While we sat we decided we would order, we couldn't find menus and kept waiting for a waiter, then someone finally told us ,after we asked , that we had to order in front! I ordered a BLT on a GF bread, I had to pay $2 more for gluten free! I expected a large sandwich for the price, like most the restaurants we've eaten at have been, but this sandwich was small, like a tiny one made at home! The bacon was burnt to a crisp and black, and the bread was super dry, the whole sandwich was dry and tasteless and a disappointment. When it came the side of pickle was missing and I had to ask for it. The only good part of my meal was the chips and my Italian soda! A huge waste of $18 + $$
