We stopped by after sitting in traffic on 95 and found this Panera to be a perfectly acceptable Panera. The good service was slower than I expected, even for the number of people there, and the pagers were all out at the self service kiosk. HORRIBLE SERVICE!! I just went to this location yesterday after visiting family with my two children. The food was as expected from Panera Bread's anywhere, but the service was not. After I had received my food, I realized my order was messed up. I asked the manager, Blaire, for a refund, and she called me a "dirty Mexican" telling me that she will not refund my money. AND she told me to "go back to my country" when I told her that is no way to speak to a customer. I did not get my refund but was instead disrespected and discriminated against by the manager. I have gone to this location regularly out of necessity, it's the only place around I can get breakfast and then heading out of town early. Food is fine, service is nice, but they consistently, and I mean most times, screw up an order at the drive-through. What a sad experience we had here - in our frequent drives to NC we typically stop around here for a leg stretch and something to eat. In trying to not eat so many fast food burgs, we opted for Panera. I doubt we will do this again. We enjoyed ordering from the tablet, but when we got our food it was so so sad looking. This was the worst looking ham and grilled cheese sandwich we've ever gotten from Panera before, and the worst constructed. The ham was cold in the middle and haphazardly put onto the sandwich. Besides the ham being cold, it tasted fine. I got the chipotle chicken and avocado sandwich, added bacon, and changed the bread to foccacia. No bacon was to be found on my sandwich, and again the middle was cold......and they forgot the chipotle sauce.......some chipotle sandwich. :( Best part was the soups, but then again......i'm sure they just heat it up from a bag/box. I haven't tried this location in years because the food just went downhill and portions got ridiculously small. Went this morning and wish I hadn't. I ordered the chipotle chicken wrap which I have had at 2 other Paneras recently and they were a great size and filled with ingredients. The first wrap I got here was all wrap and the tiniest square of a sad egg,slice of cheese and a pinch of chicken, no avocado. They remade it for me with more filling but the chicken was cold. So if you decide to go, just get a bagel and yogurt because you can't really screw that up. Gave 2 stars because the girl at the front was pleasant. read more

Breakfast traveling was marred a bit by overdone egg soufflé. Danielle proved her stuff. As we went in, she was carrying out part of the large order of a patron. I get lunch from there often and it's fine. I dont know what's going on with this one but they need to fire everyone. Bathrooms are gross. Nearly every salad was listed with chicken. When I asked for a garden salad without meat, it got way, way to complicated. (I ended up with no salad but ordered something else. My husband ended up with nothing at all because it was way, way too complicated.). Nothing should be that complicated. I ended up getting the Mediterrean sandwich, tomato soup, and Asiago bagel. I asked for a ginger drink that I paid for but was not available. I got the orange turmeric drink and it was orange sugar water. I had to throw it away, and I learned that nearly every drink at that drink station was full of cane sugar. I'd really like to see far more offerings for vegetarians and vegans. I'd like to see salads just for vegans and vegetarians without a million complications. I'd love to see more beverages not loaded with sugar or agave. I once got an excellent green salad at this Panera and have never been able to get it again. You can't go wrong with Panera Bread! It's healthy and quick (two of my favorite things!). This was my first time at this particular location. I ended up stopping in around 7:30am before going to a work related event. The customer service was fantastic. The lady that helped me at the cash register was very knowledgeable about the menu. I ended up ordering a bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. It was the perfect size and tasted delicious. I would absolutely order this menu item again! After eating my breakfast, I decided to use the restroom real quick before heading out. There was no hand soap in the bathroom. The only reason this isn't a 1 star is because the staff was friendly and polite. My boyfriend and I ordered food for pick up and there were multiple items missing. We noticed one that was missing while we were in the store and they fixed it no problem. When we got home we discovered there was still more food missing. The food we received was decent at best. There was a piece of avacado that had obviously gone bad yet still was placed on the sandwich. Neither of our stomachs agreed with the food afterwards. Surprise, surprise, there was literally ONE piece of cheese on the bread, that did NOT even come close to covering the piece of bread. So, it was really like eating 2 pieces of grilled bread. Not so good. Larry ordered the steak and white cheddar panini, he actually had to look to see if there was actually a piece of cheese in this less than overwhelming panini. Yes, but a very small piece, with obviously no taste. My grilled bread was $6.99, and Larry's panini $9.29, both so overpriced for what you were getting. As usual at Panera, our table was not clean, had to put napkins down before I would dare put food down. Yuck. We find there is such a difference with Panera Bread Cafes. Standard Panera. The service is good, but I was kind of annoyed when they kept telling people to go to the electronic ordering things. I'm the kind of person who comes in to order from a human being, and not an ipad, but some people like that kind of thing. They got my order right, including removing the gouda cheese from the sandwich and the onions from my salad. They have a good chicken noodle, and the bread bowls are good, but that's standard.
