The food here was above expectations... the outside looks scary, and the inside could use some sprucing but the food is on point. I ordered a kabob combination (chicken and beef). Tony and I arrived at the hotel about 615 and the restaurant was located outside of the lobby sharing basically the block with hotel. The desk clerk recommended it to us. We went inside and we were the only people inside. Restaurant was open, large and very airy The young man at the counter said we could sit anywhere so we chose one away from the door. We looked over the menu and decided to stay and fine in instead of to go back to the hotel room. The lamb kabob was delicious(just a little well done for me) and came with cuke salad, and a side of chickpeas. The meal was large and the sides were tasty. I also got an appetizer of hummus with pita bread. The pita was large and crisp. Hummus was good. I had all my leftovers for breakfast. It doesn't look like much but they have a large menu which in addition to kabobs has italian items, pizza, heros, etc. read more

As someone who cooks a lot, I appreciate all the fresh herbs over the cucumber and tomato salad as an added side to the meats. Their spinach side is incredible too. We like the chickpeas side as well, but the spinach is divine. My husband is obsessed with their lamb. Stopped at one of the hotels close to this restaurant and didn't want to drive in the horrible Fredricksburg traffic so walked over to this restaurant for takeout. And boy was I glad we did! While picking up our takeout, I noticed what a lovely restaurant it is inside. The staff is very friendly. And there were wonderful portions of delicious food. We chose the "chicken over rice". Just went into the store to place a pick up order. The older gentleman that works there or is the owner is very very rude. He spoke to me as if he had better things to do than deal with me. I found this place on Uber eats while staying at a local hotel. I was having issues placing an order on Uber eats so I called the restaurant for assistance. Not only did the manager take my order but he also had his staff to bring my food to me at my hotel as well. The food was excellent!!!! It was hot and fresh and plenty of food. The lamb was sooooo tender. I couldn't believe it I ordered the A5 lamb/ chicken kabobs with chick peas and spinach. The salad was soooo fresh. The spinach was sooo good too. I don't like spinach unless it's from a middle eastern restaurant. Omg I was stuffed!!! Whenever I'm back in the area I will definitely order food again. I highly recommend this place. On a lark- I found this place while traveling on I-40 and googling "Greek restaurant." It popped up on the map. Don't let this older building beside an older hotel fool you. You need to eat here. The food is delicious,plentiful & served hot just like food used to be when it came straight from the stove to your table. It was lunchtime & I hadn't eaten breakfast so I got the lamb & steak kabob combo platter. Wow! Humus, pita,stuffed grape leaves, rice, kabobs. Perfect!And the server was attentive and made sure glasses were filled & obliged with other requests. You walk in and order over the counter from the menu posted behind the counter. This place is a hidden gem! Right off of route 17, but easy to miss with all the traffic and other signs. By this place is seriously delicious! The food is so fresh and tasty! My family and I are currently obsessed. Even my toddler approves. My favorite is the chicken kabob with green sauce and side of white sauce. The little cucumber and mint salad is very fresh and light, goes well with the spices of the meat. My husband is in love with the lamb kabob. 10/10 read more

I travel a lot and get tired of eating out. I typically eat to live. Tonight, I lived to eat! This restaurant was adjacent to my hotel within walking distance. I ordered the beef with rice, chickpeas, and salad as my entree. I ordered baklava as dessert. The beef was spiced just right, the sauce was delicious, and the chickpeas had a great flavor. I felt like I had gotten two pieces of dessert rather than the small portion typically received. The portions were very generous and the price was very reasonable. I was told my order would be ready in 20-25 minutes. Arriving after only about 15 minutes, I was pleasantly surprised that my order was ready. I will definitely go back to this restaurant next time in the area. It gets hidden because of the interstate but is well worth finding. read more
