    Croissant breakfast sandwich

It's Panera, so if you've been to a Panera you know what to expect. Until recently, though, I hadn't realized they served breakfast and since a good breakfast sandwich is strangely hard to find, my son and I checked it out. Very tasty bacon on the egg sandwich, kind of soggy croissant, small servings but otherwise pretty good. It'll do in a pinch. Plus where else can you get strawberry basil lemonade with breakfast?

I'm glad I received Panera coupons in the mail. It was perfect for a quick bite to eat before an event with my partner. We both ordered our personalized versions of the you pick two. We shared a drink and coconut macaron. The food was good, hot and tasty. Panera usual food. We waited a while to get our food even though it wasn't busy. It's a big building with lots of seating areas, which is nice for privacy and group settings. The parking gets kind of jammed because it's in the plaza, but circle around a few times and you'll get in.

    Enjoying a quick coffee & scone/muffin!

Wanted just coffee and something sweet so hubby and I stopped in here near our hotel before heading back to Puyallup. Hubby never been in a Panera. We both like strong good coffee and knew this would be safe. Surprised the last 2-3 times I've been a Panera there's only been one muffin and one scone choice. I truly miss the cinnamon scone, but the orange is equally as delicious. Hubby enjoyed both the dark coffee and blueberry muffin. Coffee a bit pricey, it was like $4.50 ea. for med basic brew. It was a good stop though, server pleasant.

Very Hard Crust on Baguettes / Sandwiches. Tastes not bad but when no sauce was requested, it was in the sandwich anyways. Good Service Not so good food quality. Ambiance is very sad.

I've always enjoyed the food at Panera.. but it's always dirty? Do they ever bus the tables or sweep the floor?

Finholm's has a lot of history in this neighborhood and there is a nearby sign where you can read up on some of it. Inside the store I wouldn't exactly call it a full fledged supermarket but there are plenty of snacky items and the beer selection is great! There are a lot of brands of beer that aren't commonly seen in the area so if you are into craft beer there is a lot to check out! But not only that they have beers on tap that you can enjoy as well and hang out there! There is a place that serves food inside. It's a waffle shop in which you can get sweet or savory waffles. That place has it's own Yelp entry and I will write a review for that in the near future. But definitely check out Finholm's and read up on it's history... it's pretty interesting!

We also had the chance to enjoy coffee and pastries one morning. I had a latte, and my husband had a mocha, and both were good! Along with our drinks, we ordered a croissant, and I had a kouign-amann. Once again, my husband can attest to the quality of the pastries, given his French background. The service and the bakery's ambiance were good--clean and well set up. Seats were readily available when we visited (approximately 10 am). The parking lot is first-come, first-served, and we weren't able to park there, but we easily found street parking just a few steps away.

They have a great balance of savory breads and sweet desserts, so there's something for every craving. My favorite is the strawberry cake: soft, light, and topped with delicate cream. It's absolutely perfect with a cup of black coffee. Everything is always fresh and delicious. The bakery itself is small and cozy, with seating in the front and back, plus a small outdoor seating area in the back. There are a few parking spots available, along with street parking. Just a heads-up--they're closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Definitely worth planning ahead for a visit!

We left there early and by the time we reached Gig Harbor we were most certainly in the mood for breakfast. Apparently lots of other people did to and also it must frequently that idea in town as it was quite busy. We were informed that there was a wait but it wasn't a bad one and the restaurant looked highly enticing so we put our names on the list. When we were called we sat at the bar. Which was fine... we weren't about to be choosey. We ordered our food and we enjoyed immensely when we got it. I got a waffle with strawberries and cream which was amazing! The waffle was perfection, the fruit was fresh. Just wonderful! I also saw breakfast potatoes and they looked great too so I ordered some of those too. No big surprise... they were excellent! Steve and I both got a Bloody Mary and it was so good! It had a nice, spicy kick to it and was great! Some mornings call for a Bloody Mary and this one fit the bill nicely! Steve got a great tasting omelet and he had no complaints either! It's definitely worth the wait to get a table... not a shred of doubt with that.

The gravy was thick, rich, and absolutely bursting with savory flavor. It's the gold standard. * Banana Bread French Toast: This was a great "breakfast dessert." Atmosphere & Service We arrived right at 7:00 AM and were treated to a lovely sunrise reflecting off the water. Honestly, there isn't a bad seat in the house. The staff was the perfect blend of friendly and efficient, and even the fellow patrons seemed to be in a great mood--which speaks volumes about the vibe here. Bottom line: Incredible food, stellar views, and a warm, welcoming energy. We'll be back!

We order a 3-pc halibut/chips $15, a bowl of clam chowder and 2 soda cans. Came to $31 before tip. You order at the trolley window and you pick food up there when ready. They have covered and uncovered seating area very convenient. Order took about 10-12 minutes. Glad we ordered 3 pc fish as they were very small portions, a different coating...tasted like corn/masa, not too heavy but a bit gummy on inside. For fresh halibut it wasn't a stand out unfortunately. Ample fries ( crinkle cut) that were crispy, like the sprinkle of herb (parsley?), although we smelled a slightly fishy smell unclear if fries cooked in same fish oil, tarter good. We only had a taste of the chowder because we find it nearly impossible to enjoy properly with a small plastic spoon. One ends up spilling more down the front of you then consuming. We brought home, it was nice and creamy (butter added richness) and appreciated not tasting like bacon or being a chunky potato soup. I would order again, $8 fair price for bowl. Curious to try other menu options like steam clams, calamari, etc.
