    Potato cheese soup

This is a great little spot to grab soup to go! There's no seating inside and it's cash only. They have their menu sectioned with vegetarian and vegan options, super clear! Looks like they have a rotating menu of soup daily. We snuck in towards close and they were out of almost everything. We ended up with a potato cheese soup and it was so good we went back and got another one. They have a discount if you buy two (I think pints) of the same flavor. The guy working was super sweet and friendly! We'll be back next time we're in town and make sure we come earlier!

Tried Tacoma's version of the Soup Nazi. So good! I tried the spicy ham and collard greens and the chicken marsala. Both were outstanding. I wish the marsala had either a pasta noodle of some type or potato in it. Regardless, it was great. The ham and greens was really good too. Looking for it to be a little saltier, but still excellent. The chicken gorgonzola tortellini is phenomenal. No need to adjust anything here. Also tried the creamy sausage and garlic soup, also perfect. The pozole tasted great, just like what I make. Almost exactly. Props to me for making it as good as this place! Top tier soup take out! So good!

Infinite Soups is always amazing, and today's fabulous lunch didn't disappoint: lemon-pesto tortellini, 3-cheese potato, spicy Thai tofu, mushroom gorgonzola tortellini ... and delicious biscuits. And thank you for your work in the community, especially today's commitment to donating 50% of proceeds to Tacoma Community House. You feed the stomach, the soul, and the community!

Great flavor and solid variety, and I love that their bread comes from local sources. Customer service is hit or miss. My first visit was great, but every time after that, when I've dealt with a woman with long dark hair and black glasses, she's come across rushed, short, and cold. It feels like you're inconveniencing her just by ordering. Those interactions make it hard to want to come back. This makes the ambiance not the best.

I love Infinite Soups and I'm so glad I found this place via Yelp. It's a small little take-and-go counter, cash only. The soup list is on the counter or on Facebook, when a soup sells out, it's gone until next time. Besides soup, they have some cool other stuff for sale, like records. Take as many crackers as you want, honor system. The staff is friendly, and more importantly, Infinite Soups is a good neighbor, meaning they participate in fundraisers for local causes and support other local businesses. But, most important of all, the soups are legit. I'm a soup lover and I've tried quite a few of their soup offering and they have all been delicious! My favorites so far have been the Chicken Pozole Verde and the Spicy Hungarian Sausage, I'm looking forward to trying the Korean Potato Stew. I'll warn you, if you order a spicy soup, it's going to be spicy, they're not playing around! And I like it that way!

This place is consistently busy. There's indoor and outdoor seating. The building is a small house and has enough space for about 20-30 people inside. Probably another 20-30 if outdoor seating is available. You seat yourself or order from the front if hou are ordering takeout. Tables get cleaned immediately as soon as people leave. Service is quick and the workers are friendly. Their bánh mì đặc biệt (deluxe sandwich) and the cà phê sửa đá (iced condensed milk coffee) are my typical go-tos. The sandwich has layers of meat and portioned appropriately. The pâté adds a rich umami flavor and the Vietnamese bơ (mayo) gives it a buttery flavor. The veggies are always healthy and seem fresh. Also their jalapeños actually have a kick unlike most places I've been to. I recommend this staple to anyone looking for a solid Vietnamese sandwich in Tacoma. Great place to chill and have coffee to start your day. They have other foods like noodle soups, stews, and a rice plate. I haven't tried any of them, but it might be something I might look into in the future

A LOT of life has happened since then, so we definitely had plenty to catch up on. Neither of us had been to Bloom Thai before, but we both love Thai food, so we decided to give it a try. This place is definitely different from any Thai restaurant I've been to before. It's super small, with only a handful of tables. You order at the counter, grab your number, and find a table. They also have a big jug of cucumber water that was so refreshing! They didn't have my usual yellow chicken curry, so I decided to try something completely different--the drunken noodles. I honestly had no idea what I was ordering, but OH MY GOSH... I was in love with this dish! The flavors were fantastic, and they topped it with deep-fried basil. I'm not even kidding when I say I think I've dreamed about that crispy basil every day since! It was SO good! The food was definitely the star of the show for me, and I really enjoyed the atmosphere. I think this is such a fun little spot to meet a friend for lunch, especially if you want somewhere casual and different. That said, it is VERY small, so I personally wouldn't choose it for a family dinner with a bunch of picky eaters or rambunctious kids. The menu is also a little different than your typical Thai restaurant, so definitely keep that in mind. For dinner, I'd probably order it to-go and enjoy it at home. But for a girls' lunch or catching up with a friend? Absolutely! Great little find, and I will definitely be back for those drunken noodles and that amazing fried basil!

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

Well that day has come. We ended up staying at a hotel nearby for a friend's wedding. We were getting hungry and I luckily checked Yelp and saw that I bookmarked this place when it showed up on my nearby food list. What a crazy coincidence. So we drive over and park on a side street. There was a small line outside and we waited patiently for a few minutes. Once inside, we were seated at the counter and it was packed, a little hot and everything smelled delicious. My friend and I both ordered the duck and pork noodle soup and it was maybe the best noodle soup I've ever had. The pork had crispy skin, the duck was soft and flavorful. It was all just so delicious. The iced coffee was strong and sweet. We also got the dessert. Make sure to add durian if they ask. It made it 1000x better if that's even possible. On the day of our reservation I received a call from a very friendly staff member Jace (forgive my spelling if it's incorrect) who confirmed our reservation and also asked if we had kids in our party because of the age restriction for the outside seating. I thought that was very considerate of him to do so as he was being proactive and courteous at the same time! When I checked in, I immediately was greeted by Jace who was beyond welcoming in person as he was on the phone. He guided us to our table and made us all feel welcome.
