We were the only ones in the restaurant one Fall weekday afternoon. We asked to sit in a booth by window. No. Can we sit in the booth across? No. "Can you just sit here?" the inexplicably exasperated Gen-Z hostess softly balked. We sat. Chastened. The fresh spring rolls were among best ever. Out of fave Thai beer but had another. Great prawns. The beef in the drunken sauce though was a bit like chewing on a basset hound's toy. Nope. Liked all the mushrooms though. Good ambience on the water.

Large menu with classic americanized thai vibes. Nobody was at the front desk when we arrived so we waited a while... when we finally sat down the view of Gig Harbor was pretty, but the food quality was exceptionally average.

Ordering to-go online using their website was super easy. I was happy to see such a wide variety of many dishes on their menu. Anything from appetizers, salads, soups, entrees with beef/pork/chicken/seafood that include rice, noodles, fried rice, curries, vegetarian options, desserts and drinks. I ordered the Prik Khing Beef entree with a 4* spice level, and my husband ordered the Cashew Chicken with a 3* spice level. We shared a green papaya salad with a 3* spice level. I was surprised how true to form the spice level is, I LOVE spicy food and the level 4* did not disappoint. However, it almost was heat for heat's sake, with a little flavor. Thank goodness for the solid serving of rice and refreshing green papaya salad to balance the heat though. Everything was delicious and well cooked. The meat servings for the entrees in a to-go order are perfect size. I wish there was more green papaya salad for the container it was in and the price. The food was ready when I arrived so it made it quick and easy to take home. It's good quality Thai without having to cross over the bridge!

We got the Pad Thai with chicken at a level 2 spice... it seems as if they forgot the sauce. There wasn't any flavoring, all you could really taste was oil. Very bland and disappointing for $20 an entree. Unfortunately, we won't be back. Not one star because the views at the spot are amazing. Very pretty location, very poor food.

This was so much more than I expected of a Thai restaurant. It was dark outside but their view of the harbor is awesome. Well prepared Thai food served in an upscale way. Generous servings will not leave you hungry in just a few hours. Brown rice is definitely the way to go. An enjoyable meal.

Great view, right on the water! The food is delicious, and the portions are large. I enjoyed the salmon panang curry and my boyfriend devoured his drunken noodles with chicken.

Ambiance - dinner with a view of the water! 5 stars Food - started with the spring rolls, and Chicken sate. My favorite was the crispy garlic chicken ( you must order this! With crispy basil leaves as a garnish- delicious! The pad see ew with beef was okay- the beef was not tender and the broccoli and asparagus was not cooked- very tough but I'm going rate this 4 stars since the other dishes were superb! Service - server promptly brought the water in large glass carafes. Can't wait to go back and try other entrees! Really good Thai food!

The place is lovely. There was only one server who seemed to be doing it all but she did a great job and was very nice. when i asked for tofu as my protein she asked if i was vegetarian or vegan to make sure there was nothing in the dish that I shouldn't have. Props for that. I had golden cashew which apparently can be vegan when modified. golden cashew is made with garlic, chili, vinegar, and our signature house sauce. Fresh vegetables are sautéed and the dish is finished of with your choice of meat, roasted cashews, and a side of steamed rice. Delish and I was able to bring some home for lunch today My friend had the Saigon Crepe Gluten-Free. VM. Also known as Bánh Xèo, literally translates to "sizzling pancake", is named for the loud sizzling sound it makes when the rice batter is poured into the hot skillet. Our Saigon Crêpe is a Vietnamese savory fried pancake made of rice flour, water, and turmeric powder. It is stuffed with bean sprouts, carrots, onions, and a choice of chicken and prawns, or tofu. I tasted it and was super good. I'd get that the next time.

The husband, who was serving, checked in several times to make sure I had everything I needed. The chef also stopped by my table when she came out of the kitchen, which was such a thoughtful touch. The pork belly was very crispy(an additional fee), but too salty for my taste. The Pad Thai was good, although not the best I've had. The noodles were cooked well, and I enjoyed the flavor of the sauce. It did not come spicy, but chili sauce was available to add some heat. The spicy omelette tom yum soup had a great balance of mild spice and sourness, and it tasted very authentic. The texture of the fried omelette after soaking in the soup was not my favorite, but that may come down to personal preference. The Thai iced tea had a good balance of tea and condensed milk, although it was sweeter than I prefer. You order at the counter, and the food is brought to your table afterward. Water is self-service. They also have a helpful sign explaining the ordering and seating process for first-time guests. The restaurant was very clean, nicely decorated, and had a great ambiance. I especially enjoyed the small area showcasing the chef's history and journey. Overall, the warm service and welcoming atmosphere made the experience memorable.

I booked a reservation here for my dad's birthday dinner. He's been here in the past and loved it so I thought it was a good safe choice, but it fell a little lackluster for him specifically which is a bummer since it was HIS birthday. We started out with some Chicken Satay and Crab Rangoon, both of which were fire. We haven't ordered those here before so can confirm the satay is a new favorite. Can't really mess up the rangoon, but still it was delicious! My dad is a sucker for Panang Curry with Chicken but they will only make it here with salmon for whatever reason? Bummer number one. He went with the Crying Tiger as his back up and when they brought it out, we were all wowed! Presentation is a 10/10 for sure. He ordered it medium rare though and it came out WELL done which, for the price, was a letdown. I ended up doing something I never do and broke free of the shackles that their Pad Thai has on me. The Boat Noodles looked so delicious that I decided to full send and give it a try - as a huge soup girlie the curiosity was just too strong. The broth is very herb forward but also still has a complex, delicious flavor. Spice level was on point. The waitress told me it was very beef forward and boy it was - but it was tasty! TONS of generously sliced beef. Loved the rice noodles too. My sister ordered the Crab Fried Rice which was an insane portion and uniquely plated. Large serving of fried rice covered in a Thai style omelet with a HEAPING pile of crab on top, served with a yummy Thai spicy mayo. She let me try a couple bites and it was pretty superb. It's a little pricy at $40 but it's at least two meals so I guess it's justified. I put in my reservation notes that it was a birthday dinner and they were kind enough to bring out a free slice of cheesecake that was beautifully presented with dry ice and all. Even with a few hiccups in this dinner we will definitely still continue to frequent. Over the 5+ times we've been here this was the first kind of "meh" experience but it was still good!
