Never disappointed at Panera! I enjoy going there for brunch or a late lunch. Everything is always fresh and so is the coffee.

We've been here many times when visiting my in-laws in Green Bay, and to tell you the truth I've…read morenever really eaten the food, maybe the ribs once but I usually would just have a few drinks. My girls like this place and wanted to come here on this trip mainly for the nostalgia. So I was presently surprised how good the food tasted. It's a cool restaurant with the "lodgey" feel and it doesn't look worn with age. The staff and our waitress were awesome, they had to make some adjustments to seat our large party and our waitress was really patient as a few of our party were not there at the time of our reservation. Service was fast but not rushed, even though it was a busy night. We started with our drinks and some great fried cheese curds. Cheese curds have become popular throughout the Midwest but for some reason they never taste as good as the ones you get in Wisconsin. They have an impressive list of bourbons, though my father in law said that they usually don't all the Buffalo Trace bourbons that's listed. My daughter and I shared the "special of the day" perch platter. The perch was crispy and piping hot and delicious. The sides were pedestrian but decent. The others at our table got the tenderloin sandwich, half rack of tender juicy ribs, the coconut crusted shrimp and the Caribbean chicken pasta. Everyone enjoyed their meal. It's a very good choice for American pub grub but for my wife and daughters, there are the great memories of meeting up with family and enjoying a good dinner and their company.

The chefs here create their dishes in a timely manner. It looks like a massive wood lodge with 2 floors of dining and a bar/music area. Mostly families dining all around and mostly couples in the bar area. The bar area has tv sports on.

We were visiting Green Bay where we used to live looking for a place for lunch. As soon as we…read morewalked into this small restaurant, I knew I had been there before when it was something else! It is, as I already mentioned - small (about a half dozen tables for two). I'm guessing it is good (better) for takeout but we arrived just after 1:30 on a Thursday and had no problem getting a table. It is light, bright, and cheery inside. The two young women working behind the counter were very pleasant and patiently explained the options to us and all the customers who came in after us. There are about a half dozen "suggested" bowls but you can create your own or make changes to the ones in the menu. I ordered the Berbere Spiced Sweet Potato with almost all the colors of the rainbow represented - spiced sweet potatoes, radishes, carrots, Brussel sprouts, broccoli, dried cranberries, and green apples (I think I remembered everything). There is an option for an upcharge to add a protein but the vegetarian option was uncooked tofu and I only eat tofu that is well-seasoned and cooked so I passed. Hubby had the Lemon Herb Rotisserie bowl which he liked. Both were very filling and we couldn't finish them. Drinks range from Diet Coke to cold pressed juices. Great option for downtown Green Bay. Four stars because the (one) vegetarian protein option was not to my liking.
