Just do yourself a favor and pass on this Panera. Stopped at 8:30pm hoping for a healthy quick dinner. They were out of the soup I ordered and the rice in my Husbands bowl but didn't mention that until he checked on our food 15 mins later and they let us know they had to make more rice hence the wait. They offered to give me a half cup of the soup I ordered that they "scraped from the bottom of the pan" or I could pick a new one. I am giving two stars as after 20 minutes of waiting the woman did offer to give us free pastries for our wait. We didn't really want or need sweets but I appreciate the gesture to make it right. read more

So we didnt get what we ordered exactly, and were slightly overcharged due to it, but it was like $2 so we didnt fuss over it. I got a 4 cheese grilled cheese sandwich and the broccoli cheddar soup. I wont say the soup was bad, because it wasnt, but wow was that grilled cheese sandwich a joke. First off, its hard to call it a grilled cheese sandwich when theres almost no cheese in it. Like wow, multiple bites had nothing but bread in it, luckily i had the soup to dip it in. Secondly for whatever reason only one side was grilled, the other side was similar to stale bread, no browning or anything. They dont appear to use any butter, so it was more of a toasted cheese sandwich rather than a grilled cheese. For the price theres many other places you could go and get a better meal. Panera is not cheap, its upscale fast food, like noodles n company, so i expect food better than the Wendy's across the street. This panera did not meet that expectation. read more

This morning I ordered a rapid pick up. I'm always going to Panera in New Berlin. I waited 15 min for two Iced Coffees and Two bacon sandwiches. I paid extra for my customization of my sandwich only to get 1.25 pieces of bacon half an egg and sandwiches were very small. People were picking up their orders as I'm still waiting. I'm calling the restaurant three times and no one picks up. I had my baby with me so didn't wanna leave her in the car. I paid $17 with a $2 tip and was extremely disappointed. My sandwiches were made half ass and iced coffee had the ice already melted as if it was sitting for over 10 min. Will never come here again so horrible. I'm an essential worker, I would understand if they were short staffed but it looked like they weren't. They didn't even apologize for the wait. read more

Ran into this location before work to bring bagels for work. Called ahead for two dozen and the have a package with a "bakers dozen" and two cream cheese included for about $15.00. I was happy to run in grab my bagel, just sliced and checkout before the usual morning crowd comes in. This is the last time I'll be coming to this location. They are constantly out of something. They were out of chips today for the you pick twos. I also wanted to redeem a reward and they were out of everything but one type of bagel displayed on the app. Also out of almost every sweet treat available for a reward. I ordered for pick up and they were 10 plus minutes beyond what was given on the app. Had I known it was going to be like that I would have gone to one of the many other restaurants in the area. I stopped in here with my wife at about 6 pm last evening for a bowl of soup and some tea. The food was pretty standard for a Panera franchise, but the dining area was shockingly unclean. We struggled to find a table surface without food crumbs on it, or liquid stains left from previous diners. The floor underneath nearly all the tables had debris, food, wrappers. Overall what a disgusting environment to dine in. I know Panera is a chain which is why I was surprised at the dining conditions. The dining area was not the least bit busy either. I placed an order Saturday night for curbside pick up on Sunday morning. When I got there, they called to say 1 of the items was out and I'd have to wait at least 30 minutes if I wanted it. I opted for a different item. The drink I had ordered never came with the rest of my food. I didn't think about that until I already was almost home. I didn't have time to run back since I was meeting up with a friend. I called back later and they said a free drink voucher would be mailed to me. I only live 10 minutes from the store and I have yet to receive my voucher. I called to follow up and they said to give it till next week. read more

This Panera Bread is very organized. Wonderful service. Coffee is always being refilled. Workers walk around taking plates and garbage. The atmosphere is welcoming and friendly. Twice in one month my online order was not able to be filled. 1st time I placed an order 3 days in advance, 5mins before my pickup I received a call that none of it was in stock and had sold out. Since the order was paid for, I would've expected the order to be filled in the morning so that it was available at my pick up time. 2nd time I place an order for the first available pickup time and receive a text it is ready. I get there and my order isn't there, I ask an employee and she tells me 7 of the 13 bagels are out of stock and offers me all Asiago bagels or to refund the order. I asked why it was marked ready when it wasn't. I never got an answer and ended up canceling the order. I don't no about you, but I don't enjoy getting up at 6am to go out in 22 degree weather only to find out when I get there that my order is not fillable or ready. Compared to other Paneras, this location is tiny. During weekend mornings and lunch hours, it's a challenge finding a place to sit either inside or outside. However, like all the others, this location has consistently good food. The one downside is the pricing, which has steadily increased which makes it a not-cheap place. This location has the morning regulars who are guaranteed to keep the noise level up and the conversations interesting. The lighter selections range from salads to soups, or can get heartier options such as sandwiches, paninis and stews. The ingredients are simple and the food is made in minutes right in front of you. If you have a sweet tooth, they have a wide variety of cakes, muffins, brownies and pastries. For all you breakfast lovers, stop in for bagel, quiche and a cup of coffee on your way into the office, . Although it does get busy around breakfast and lunch time, usually it's no problem finding a seat. In summer months they have an outdoor patio to accommodate additional seating. read more

We had not eaten at a Panera in a couple of years. Stopped here tonight and what a disappointment. I got the tuna salad on focaccia. Very skimpy on the portions, especially the tuna. Bread very dry. I ended up putting mustard on the bread (no mayo at home) to give it more flavor. I even added a piece of cheese for an extra cost....still very blah. Pretty expensive I thought for what they give you. Didn't buy it, but their frozen strawberry lemonade sounded wonderful on a hot night. Tried Panera today for a change, not impressed. Prices are too high. The "pick 2" doesn't give you any discount so what's the point. I paid $5.99 for a half turkey avocado blt (whole is $9.99) & $6.59 for a half chile chicken salad (whole is $10.99), total $12.58. Sandwich was good but salad ......eh. No papers towels in bathroom, tables dirty, area to take trays/dirty dishes VERY dirty. Zupas my new favorite has the "pick 2" for $9.99 and the price doesn't change no matter what you pick. Usually no problems when I visit this Panera but completely different story today. Second in line after a lengthy order in front of they needed change for $100 bill. Line behind me was 6 deep at that point. One person working behind the counter. Manager came out from back at least 2 times if not more never once looking up from her tablet to see that they clearly needed another register to open up. I called the store and was not once given an apology, rather the person I talked to seemed annoyed that I would have the audacity to complain about it. I accepted an offer of a refund for just the half sandwich out of my $33 order. While a bit put off, I was going to just let bygones be bygones. But later in the evening when I went to eat the Mac and cheese I ordered with chopped bacon I paid extra for, I noticed they didn't even put the bacon on it! And again I waited an extra 15 minutes because they put my order in the delivery area instead of pickup area and only received it because I walked up to the counter and checked on it. They admitted they were then actively rebagging it because "it had been sitting awhile." I have tried for three days to order from them from ubereats and always closed, even though i am trying to make the order at 4pm and they close at 7pm. Review of the new Southwestern Chicken Flatbread Sammie. There was some confusion on the prices. A whole sandwich consists of two flatbread sandwiches for 7.59. One single sandwich is 4.99. The sandwich consists of all natural antibiotic free chicken, spicy black bean hummus, feta cheese,a southwest corn blend, napa cabbage blend and cilantro with a barbecue ranch dressing on flatbread One sandwich has 350 calories and 610 mg of salt, 17 gm of fat 65 mg of cholesterol, and 3 gm of fiber, 5 g of sugar + 9 g of protein. The sandwich was tasty and one was filling enough for me. Only problem I encountered was that when they made it, I was able to see them measure out the ingredients and put the sandwich into a to go box. When they moved the Sammies to the box a lot of ingredients fell out onto wax paper, I asked them to please include the ingredients that were on the wax paper into the box , which they did. So in closing, I would keep an eye on it being made. read more

On entering my neighborhood Panera Bread, I was greeted to an extremely clean restaurant. The midday sun beaming in through the large picture windows illuminated the mustard, orange and chocolate brown colors in the restaurant. The comforting aroma of freshly baked breads and pastries increased my hunger. That is not surprising because Panera specializes in deli style sandwiches on artisan breads, home-style soups and signature salads. But Panera also seems to be energized by the community that uses it as a gathering place, including a bulletin board for local postings. My whole intent for having lunch at Panera was to keep it light while keeping it comforting and I was not disappointed. The woman who took my order was very friendly and neat in appearance. After reviewing the menu, I selected the chicken with wild rice soup and the Thai chicken salad. The soup had a hearty consistency with a generous amount of rice and a hint of rosemary. My salad combined crunchy, fresh Romain lettuce, cashews, red peppers, fire-roasted edamame, grilled chicken, cilantro and wanton strips lightly tossed in a Thai chili vinaigrette with a peanut sauce on top. I assumed that the salad would be bursting with incredible flavor due to the variety of ingredients but was a bit bland. It could have used a little more spice but overall was good. The restaurant has clean, handicapped accessible restrooms. I look forward to coming back to experience more of Panera's selections and cozy, casual atmosphere. read more

Panera Bread is the place I most dine at. My children love this place. When I go out with friends this is where you find us at. If you talked to my friends you would know the say I should have stock in the place. I have even had a friend ask me if I knew where they were all located. I said no but when I don't I look it up on my phone. I have gotten a lot of my friends to try this place and they too, love it. Whether I am getting food with friends or getting our coffee to sit and chat---this is my place. The food is excellent along with the service. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They are always busy, but that is because when your that good you will be. Would you want to go to a place where no one was. It was very packed but the service was very fast. We got in ordered almost immediately, the cashier was very polite and made sure to tell us about sides, and so on and so forth. We were only waiting for about 4 minutes when our buzzer went off and our food was ready. I was served my turkey sandwich and an apple on a unappealing tray, and my dad was served a philly cheese steak panini and a baguette on the same awkward trays. He enjoyed both, and finished the whole thing with room to spare. Whilst I finished my average sandwich (on amazing bread) and most of my apple with a little room to spare.
