Enjoyed the food, staff was very friendly. When we return to Wisconsin, we will definitely go back to Miss Daisy's.

Friendly with delicious plentiful sandwiches and drinks. Will be back ! Close enough to the bike trail that it's perfect as a rest stop.

Best breakfast burrito I've had since I moved to Wisconsin. Clean/nice seating area. Not dated at all. Great place for breakfast

Date of visit: February 21, 2025…read more Loup is a wonderful little gem that I came across (with a little help from Yelp, of course!) in the Wauwatosa village during one of my monthly lunch excursions with a friend from work and you should definitely check it out. While a tiny place, you're greeted with a wonderful smell as soon as you open the door, embracing your nose like a warm hug. Service was great! Staff was efficient and offered great suggestions, such as when I wanted the grilled cheese but I am not a fan of pepperjack and it was offered to add in some mozzarella instead of the pepperjack and it was not only a thoughtful suggestion, it was an amazing sandwich! I did a combo with the ginger carrot soup and it definitely had the ginger kick but was not too potent for me and I appreciated the suggestion from staff to try this one. Just a couple small quibbles that prevented Loup from getting five stars: - There were no croutons, crackers, or bread served with the soup. That is a must for me and something that can be easily corrected. - The M&M cookie--while quite large--was not great, especially for $4. It's my husband's favorite kind of cookie and he only had about a third of it before passing it on to me. I ended up having it at home with milk (which helped) but it was overall a disappointing and expensive dessert.

A soup lover myself, any place that has a soup flight is a win in my book! Always a great variety…read moreof soups that change out. Also have a menu of sandwiches if you want a little more. Service is good with plenty of seating. Sometimes feels like a little more of a fast food/chain restaurant, but at least they have big bright windows to lighten it up.

Stopped into West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe for lunch and it absolutely delivered. The space…read morewas clean, welcoming, and the service was friendly and quick. The lunch menu has a huge variety of options, which made it tough to choose. I went with the BLT on sourdough, served with a pickle spear and thick-cut potato chips. It totally hit the spot. The bacon they use is fantastic. My friend ordered the Sriracha Melt (ham, pepperoni, mozzarella, jalapeños, and sriracha mayo grilled on white bread), which also came with chips and a pickle. Immediately devoured. The salads looked incredible....the table next to us ordered a couple and they looked absolutely divine. Next time for sure. The adjacent market is a must-browse too. It's packed with specialty products and rare finds that you don't see everywhere, making it easy to walk out with way more than you planned. Great food, great service, and a fun market to explore. Highly recommend stopping in if you're anywhere near West Allis.

Had a great lunch at West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe!…read more We ordered The Cliff (turkey, bacon, pepper cheese, tomato, arugula, and avocado crema on ciabatta) and the breakfast sandwich special a Smoked Ham Bagel (jalapeño cheddar, ham, jalapeño cream cheese, hot honey, and fried egg). Both were fantastic! There was street parking available, and while we arrived at a peak time, we were able to find a table after a brief wait once we ordered. There was a covered patio seating area that was also being utilized. After lunch, we browsed the connected store, with a nice selection of cheese and sausage, of course, and lots of great local products. Friendly service, generous portions, and delicious food - we'll be back!

Iced tea is real (not mixed from powder) so it's more than acceptable. The chicken noodle soup is what it is (coming from a huge plastic package) but at least it's served hot and has plenty of noodles. Companion's pastry was light and fresh. Counter people were friendly and worked at an acceptable pace. Ambience? It's Panera.

I normally don't get food togo, but we had a "situation" so that's what we did this time. Got gretted by a friendly staff person who did a good job with taking the order. There are also kiosks near the entrance if you want to avoid the lines/people. Order the Frontega Chicken Sandwich, Strawberry Caprese Salad, and the Corn Chowder. I was impressed with the speed that I got the food. And I checked it before I left, and it was all there. Even the utensils. When we ate the food a little while later. The Frontega Chicken Sandwich was excellent. The Corn Chowder was a little on the thin side, but the flavor was good. Overall a decent togo meal.
