Today I arrived at Panera at 9 AM with a friend for breakfast. To my surprise, most of the bagels were already gone. When I received my order, my bagel was as hard as a hockey puck to make things worse. The line to order was so long It was out the door and they only had one register open! After I was already sitting down, they finally opened a second register. Then when I went to get coffee, the coffee was empty. I will say that staff does not normally greet me while entering, but the staff that hands over your order is always kind. An ongoing issue with one of your locations that I have given numerous opportunities to correct. Orders are consistently missing items, given incorrect order, and poor quality food. On multiple occasions, I have ordered a chicken salad sandwich from this location and have consistently received unacceptable food quality. Most recently, the bread (white Mish) was brown, old, hard, and the edges were dark, crunchy, This does not meet reasonable standards for freshness or quality. Zoom in on pictures. Unacceptable. I spoke directly with the manager, Ron, regarding this issue. He was dismissive, condescending and said, "i will place a chip reward in your account." as i was missing my chips.He stated that the sandwich was acceptable in both portion and bread texture, despite the obvious condition of the bread.( hard, old, and crunchy) He also stated that he personally prepared the sandwich. I observed the sandwich being made without gloves, not realizing at the time it was my order, which raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices-think about those with health and immunity issues. I do not experience these issues at another location only 2.2 miles away, where food quality and service are consistently satisfactory. This leads me to believe this is a location-specific management and quality control problem. Due to repeated poor experiences and the lack of accountability from management, I will no longer return to this location. I believe this matter warrants corporate review, as it reflects poorly on your brand and customer standards. I am requesting that this location be reviewed for food quality, customer service, and proper food handling procedures. This was the new restaurant of the week and it's a chain but that's ok. The staff was ok but it was teens doing what they could with no direction on how the business model worked like I placed my order and not mention go around the corner to the pick up window while I stood at the order window in the front not knowing that my order would end up somewhere else, seriously. The place was cozy with seating areas that was separated around the room. The front had a bakery wall with nice looking breads. I ordered the ciabatta cheese steak which looked pathetic and all bread for $14 with no sides/anything. The bread was fresh with a nice chewy crust with skimpy steak and next to no veggies for even a real taste of a cheese steak, no cheese flavor either and pretty bland lacking seasonings. There was a sweetness and all beef flavor which was not very cheese steak at all I thought. The sandwich was small and over priced I thought and the lack of direction by the cashier on how the ordering process works was a complete turn off like I'm supposed know as a first time customer, never again will I spend any money in this chain restaurant. read more

I have been going to this Panera since it opened. I love the food and some of the long time workers really serving me and others. But lately, there's been a big turnover in workers by management. Customers I know are sad and complain about the waits and people are not coming as much. The last two times I was there dishes were piled up high near the tables because this Panera was short of help, which was not pleasant to see when you are eating, having coffee etc. I think it needs a new district manager or something. It's not as clean, food is still very good though and served again by some wonderful workers who are hanging on.It's a shame, it had so much going for it even six months ago. Panera Asiago Bagel: Bagels typically are not a part of my diet, but cheese definitely is. That said, I've never had the Asiago Bagel from Panera or any asiago bagel to be honest. Seems like a travesty for a cheesehead like me. Panera's version is a bagel made with chunks of asiago cheese baked inside and topped with more asiago cheese. It's a massive bagel that does not have the traditional hole in the center, which makes it ideal for sandwiches. Speaking of sandwiches, it's hard to rate this bagel on its own and I think your satisfaction will vary depending on what you choose to pair it with. I opted for adding (at home) some sharp cheddar cheese, salsa con queso, and chicken to create a bagel sandwich for dinner. If you're looking for something for breakfast, then I think this bagel would be an excellent vessel for an egg sandwich as well. The exterior of the bagel is crispy from the baked asiago cheese, but the interior is still soft and fluffy. I have always loved Panera. I really like how they've come along way in eating clean and healthy. Obviously they're pastries aren't the healthiest but they sure are delicious! I stopped in for breakfast this morning and tried one of their new egg wraps. I got the Mediterranean egg white wrap. Very tasty! I tried their delivery for the first time and that was really easy and fast to place my order. Only part I wish they had was to add my rewards number so I can get credit for my order. The deliverer was a bit late getting to me at the expected time I was given, but not too big of a deal. Everything tasted great and was how I ordered except they forgot one topping on my sandwich, sad. Other than that great food and will always come back! Also, love how they give you rewards! Ordered a grilled cheese sandwich and it took over 20 minutes. The cheese was not even melted. They would not even remake it.

I usually go here for my pick 2 like half sandwich and soup or salad. Its a healthier place for me to eat and its faster than sit down table service. They are making staff wear masks and customers that come in as well hand sanitizer by the door. Im part of the rewards program which is nice because sometimes they give you free things like a bagel a day or coffee with purchase and birthday treats ect. Always Welcome! My partner and I meet in restaurants on a regular basis. We started at Starbucks who asked us to leave. We moved down to Panera who are wonderful to us. Although we love them and they always treat us like royalty, we also like to try new places. We found a great spot at Groppi's in Bayview. Great ambiance, great food, and a nice spot on the patio to confab. On any occasion we order a number of deli entrees, bakery and always, coffee. When we have a client stop in, we buy them lunch as well. Today's expenditure was over $50.00 plus our client bought bakery on his way out. We were then asked to leave. Where did we readjourn? Panera of course. Holly always greets us with a smiling face, as well as the rest of the staff. A typical day there, we'll order two of their Pick-2s, a couple of coffees and some bakery. That's a $40 to $50 swing every day. Three days a week (average) means we'll be dropping $150 to Panera. If we're there only 40 weeks out of a 52 week year, we're spending $6,000 for their hospitality. And it's worth every penny! My roommate got the same thing. The soup arrived warm and great. The bread bowls were packaged separately. It was just what was needed on a cold day. Let me start off by saying I love Panera. Have for years. This location though... You can tell it's a high volume location. My husband and I came in tonight after running errands. The bakery section was almost completely cleaned out (as it usually is if you come in after 12pm). The cashier seemed to be very annoyed with the customer she was helping previous to my husband and I. Very flat affect, no smiling. I almost expected her to say "What do you want?" when we walked up to the counter. My husband is never prepared before he orders (no matter how much coaching I try to give him) and he asked what came on a particular sandwich. Again, the cashier seemed irritated to be asked a question. I walked away before the transaction had ended because her negative energy was too much for me. I walk over to the soda machine and they're completely out off ice. Like nothing even circulating. Having grown up in a warmer state, I'm a freak about ice in my drink to the point of I almost can't drink anything without ice in it. I asked for more ice and they told me they couldn't refill it. I ordered my salad with extra toppings and it came without the toppings (which I had paid additionally for) AND dressing. When I went up to the counter to ask for dressing, the line worker slid it across the bar top to me. Maybe everyone was having a really off day or had been super busy. After waiting 15 minutes after requests time I was asked the name and was notified that the order was in a different location the entire time. Upon return to office it was determined that a sandwich was missing. They would not deliver and I drive back to get the sandwich. 10 minute ride back. Panera Bread is not a usual stop for me. My daughter was begging so we went. This is not a good location. We experienced a long wait due to abysmal service. The staff is unfriendly and downright surly, we noticed this while waiting in line at the counter and also experienced it ourselves. Selection was very poor as well. For a place that sells fresh baked goods this was disappointing. They were sold out of virtually everything. The dine in area was dirty as well, it hadn't been cleaned off following previous diners. If you have an urge to eat Panera I suggest you find another location, this one fails in nearly all metrics. My shadow will certainly not darken their door again. read more

Okay so I go to this location about twice a week...the last few months have been decent. I've gotta say though these last two weeks have sucked. I ordered the Fiji Apple Salad to go and I got home and both salads didn't constant of half of the ingredients that normally go on that salad. It was the wrong type of lettuce, no pecans like there should have been and the tomatoes were old and soggy and we were given zero silverware. (Not an issue) the issue comes when it's 35minutes after I placed my order and I've been patiently waiting for the manager to ask me what order I'm waiting for then another 10 minutes later it comes out and I grab it and go to church (the wait made me late) and I finally get to try and eat my food after church to see that my meal is not correct and I call to find out how they will fix the issue that they didn't make my food correct... sit on hold for 10minutes then they hang up on me before I get to speak to anyone... I don't know what I'm supposed to do at this point just dispute the charge since I didn't get what I paid for?
