Horrible service. Waited almost a hour for my food. They got my order wrong also. Didn't give me half of it.

We originally ordered the Brooklyn and the Godfather to go, but while we were waiting the smell alone convinced us to stay, and we seriously devoured both. Easily some of the best sandwiches we've ever had. Truly felt like a slice of New York tucked right into Concord, NC. We'll definitely be back to try dessert and grab one of their pre-prepared pastas for dinner. And on your way out, don't miss the little mint patty gumball-style machine by the door. Such a nostalgic touch and honestly the cutest detail. took a photo for my momma! Highly, highly recommend.

The food here is almost better than most of the Italian spots I'm accustomed to in Brooklyn. I ordered the chicken parm hero and meatball parm hero. Both were excellent! The sauce was freshly made with simple ingredients that were clearly high quality. The bread was crispy and warm authentically Italian (covered in sesame seeds the way I love) Best of all they have a small "Mercato" with carefully selected items imported from Italy. I was surprised and excited to find some of my favorite Italian cookies, breadsticks and chocolates. They even carry Italian beverages & wine. But best of all they have several prepared frozen meals like Lasagna, eggplant Parmesan and other favorites. They also had sauces and cheeses and pasta. The pastry case was filed with Italian staples like cannolis. If you're looking for a purveyor of authentic Italian items in Concord, this is definitely the spot! They have a nice outdoor dining area and a small area inside as well.

Great use of an old gas station and they've mastered the craft if a good burger. Great place to hang out on a nice day and enjoy good food. The burger was filling and flavorful. Since it is part of the March burger madness competition no modifications could be made to it. I'm not a pickle or mustard fan and didn't want either. Thankfully I was able to take the pickle off and there was no after taste from it and the amount of mustard wasn't overwhelming. The burger patty was cooked well & juicy. You really can't go wrong cooking anything in duck fat. I got the seasonal salad as my side. I've not had anything quite like it before but it was good. I believe it had beets, pecans, pickled red onions, and a vinaigrette. I could be wrong in the toppings but I enjoyed it nonetheless.

The concept is really well done, with a fun atmosphere, a large outdoor patio with covered picnic tables, and a small indoor seating area. It was just too hot to enjoy the patio during our visit, so we opted to eat inside. The menu focuses on sandwiches, salads, and grain bowls. Our group tried three sandwiches: the La Familigia, the Big Schlepper, and the Hillcrest. The La Familigia was enjoyable. The combination of capicola, Genoa salami, mortadella, fresh mozzarella, arugula, and the spicy pickled pepper spread on ciabatta created a flavorful, well-balanced sandwich that I'd happily order again. The Big Schlepper was another winner. The corned beef paired perfectly with the Swiss cheese, spicy Dijon aioli, pickles, shaved cabbage, and caraway rye bread. Every bite had great texture and flavor. Unfortunately, the Hillcrest didn't meet expectations. When you think of chicken salad with apples and pecans, you expect that classic creamy chicken salad flavor. This version was much drier, with little to no mayonnaise, and the flavor was very different from a traditional chicken salad. In fact, someone at our table commented that it had an almost "fishy" taste, which was surprising. To be fair, taste is subjective, and I'm sure there are people who enjoy this style of chicken salad, so I'm only sharing the opinion of the person who ordered it. I mentioned the feedback to one of the employees, hoping they might appreciate hearing a customer's perspective, but the response felt indifferent, which was disappointing. Overall, Pump Social has a great concept, a fun atmosphere, and two of the three sandwiches were very good. I'd definitely return to explore more of the menu, but I'd skip the Hillcrest next time.

We tried several items and they were all fabulous !!! You could taste how freshly everything is made. The pizza like item was so crispy yet light. I was able to eat the entire thing ! The beef kofta was so tastey ! The amount they give you is plenty ! The chicken was very moist. The desserts were also very good and made daily. They even have turkish sodas. We finished our meal off with Turkish hot tea. We really enjoyed all the food and drinks. Several in our group also placed orders to go to take home to our families. It was all wonderful! These guys are expert cooks. They knew exactly when to start our takeout orders so that they would be fresh before we even asked ! I brought home the Adana and the lamb was so good ! The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because the chairs are not comfortable and they only have one bathroom that men and women have to share. It's a very small place, but perhaps they could make room for a women's bathroom ?
