What an amazing little shop! I have passed it plenty of times since not too far from work, but I thought only sold wine bottles. One day I decided to just google em and not was I surprised at the food offering, so told myself I'd go for lunch one day and I finally made it in. Menu isn't huge, but trust me everything on it, you're gonna want to eat it all lol. I couldn't decide between the BLT and wings so I got both lol. That had to have been the best BLT I've ever had. Pickled green tomatoes with fresh red ones just set it off. Bacon was cooked to perfection. Not wimpy but not burnt. Just right. That sandwich was so dang good! And I did try one wing while there, I got the Cajun garlic Parmesan and my goodness, the delish factor is thru the roof! They said they make it in house, well please give the chef my regards because it was heavenly! The staff was very friendly as well, and my waitress told me if I like the wing sauce to come back for brunch on Sunday because they use that sauce in the shrimp and grits. Say no more! I will be back! Lol

Amazing. And staff was phenomenal. Got to try the Mac n cheese only served on Sunday's at 10-230. It is worth it.

Review #2, wow improvements to an already amazing menu. We moved away, but so glad we stopped at vortex bottle shop for a lunch, while we were visiting back to our old stomping grounds. The burrata is as good as any I've had in New York City. They still have the staples that I love such as the chickenhawk, cauliflower crust flatbread, and a few few other new items to check out. This place is worth a visit anytime you're in Concord or Charlotte area North Carolina .

A little spot in Harrisburg close to the speedway that has a variety of dishes and a huge selection of drinks. I loved that they had a gluten free wrap. They only had the brunch menu when we stopped in on a Sunday so now I wanna go back tot try the regular menu!

Thanks Offline for having this hidden gem on the list! Went on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. It was pretty busy but the staff was very attentive! Nice open floor plan with outdoor seating. I ordered the shrimp dip as an appetizer. I would return on the strength of this alone! It was delicious!! I also had the dipper sandwich and the salad. The salad was light and refreshing. So good! I tasted the sandwich while I was there and it was also good. I will definitely be back!

This little gem is Harrisburg is perfect for happy hour and lunch or a quick date night as well! The food is surprisedly delicious! I got the grilled chicken wrap and it was perfectly toasty and the ingredients are fresh! The servers were very knowledgeable of their product and offered some great suggestions for drinks.

Sours of choice for tonight. Both of these were incredible- fruity and sweet notes.

Wow!! I am amazed at how great the food was at Vortex. Erin our waitress was AMAZING! She created such a friendly and relaxed environment for us, gave us recommendations, and was very efficient through all of our service. She mentioned their brunch menu being incredible, so I will definitely be returning in a Sunday to enjoy it. I grabbed the Fiery Chicken Pimento Melt with the Street Corn Salad as my side. I highly recommend this dish, and I wish I captured better photos. If only I had known how memorable this meal would be!

Our first visit, and we're already big fans! The staff was friendly and attentive, the food exceeded expectations, and their extensive beer and wine selection added to the great visit. Our order included the Lil Dipper, Kickin Chickin flatbread, BBQ chips with ranch, and tomato soup. The homemade chips with ranch and the tomato bisque soup are absolute must-tries and make excellent sides. Honestly, I can't find a single flaw--it was all delicious. Excited to explore more of their menu on our next visit!

This is my favorite restaurant, by far, in Harrisburg. I drove past a few times because I don't drink beer and wasn't sure what a "bottle shop" would serve for food. The menu is large enough to please everyone, but I especially enjoy the shrimp & artichoke dip, burrata antipasto salad (pictured), pimento cheese (pictured), flatbreads, and brunch specialties. Service is friendly and professional.

We stumbled upon this place when we first moved back to the area and it has been a favorite. We've never had a bad meal here. The wings are hands down my favorite item on the menu but the short rib and grits, chicken/gravy biscuit and the chicken and waffles are our favorite brunch items. Speaking of brunch I truly do not understand how this place isn't slammed at brunch every Sunday! It opens at 10 and we have never waited to be seated. They have amazing brunch and mimosa flights plus tons of beer and wine options. What's cool about vortex is that their kitchen is so small they only keep things on the menu that sell, so if they try something and people don't like it, it's gone. And the stuff that you love always stays. The service is always great and the playlists are bumpin. This is one of our favorite spots.

Cool little spot in Harrisburg when you want a good draft and some quality tapas. Cheesy flatbread was yummy and my wings were cooked just right. I recommend the Thai basil sauce. They have lots of local beers to choose from and even some that you can take home with you if you so choose. We will definitely be heading back to Vortex bottle shop soon.

A nice place for some a great variety of local beers on tap and a cooler full of wine. Their menu is small, but offers a variety of salads, flat breads and sandwiches. They are small so get there early to get a table!

You'll get dizzy looking at all those saucers on the ceiling, but they keep you entertained while you wait for your food. They're known for their draft beers and have a big selection to choose from. Our food came out fresh, hot, and delicious, and the drinks weren't bad either--not watered down, which is always a plus. I like getting my money's worth, and I felt like I did here. Good food, decent drinks, and a fun atmosphere. Auntie D gives this one a solid four out of five forks!

It's seat-yourself, so we had to pull a couple tables together to fit everyone. One thing to note: it was very warm inside, so I'd recommend sitting toward the back where it's more comfortable. My boys really enjoy this place, so I wanted to like it more, but the food was just okay and a bit pricey for what you get. Most items run about $14.99-$21.99, even appetizers are at entrée prices. I ordered the Carne Asada Fries appetizer ($15.99) after hearing they were "fire." The steak had good flavor, but the portion was light--fine for sharing, but not very filling. One entree, Big Dipper ($15.49), a roast beef seemed overcooked and there wasn't much meat on a large bun. Two people from the table ordered pizza. Neither ate more than 2 pieces. On the positive side, the beer selection is excellent, with plenty of options on tap and in bottles and cans--from Guinness to local IPAs. The atmosphere is also unique: plates cover the walls and ceiling from guests who've completed their beer challenge, which makes for a fun, quirky vibe you really have to see in person. Dart boards for those who want to be a bit more active. Overall, it's a great spot for beer and atmosphere, but the food and pricing didn't quite match the experience for me.

It was a little loud and busy when we arrived but we were able to get a seat right away and a waitress was right there to take our order. A short while later another waitress came by and brought us our food and asked if we wanted more drinks. We ordered another round and another different waitress bought us our new drinks.
