Gosh, I feel bad cause they are so nice when I've ordered pizza but it's not good. This is Soggy dough, cheap cheese, half way decent sauce pizza, that's how I would explain it. Please don't ask for a chicken parm as they will give you chicken strips. How the heck is this place 4 stars for pizza? Hoping they have other food that was good based of reviews?!?! read more

One of theeeeee best pizzas in town. We have been coming here since 2014. A friend of mine recommended this pizzeria when we lived in CLT. So we travel almost an hour to have pizza once in a while here. In recent years, I've noticed customer service has gotten crappy. Food is still good, but attitudes aren't needed. My experience today, May 2, 2023, was ok in a way, but when the pizza maker gave me an attitude on when I ordered the house pizza. (I was taught to order it this way) I was shown many years ago that the one made for in-house is bigger than the box for take out. He just gave me an attitude, and i don't stay shut for anyone. If I've been here often, why be an ass? But I will never have an issue with how great the food tastes. The tiramisu is also one of the best I've had. Now, in the photos, you can see my kids were little in the first photo from 2015, and the second photo is part of my family in 2021. The last pic is half of today's pizza because I forgot, lol. As for ambiance, it is a nice sized restaurant with booth and table seating. Perfect for people to go enjoy a meal. read more

Came in with my family of 5 and got some slices (two cheese and two pepperoni) and three orders of fries the food was super fresh we had to wait a few minutes before we could eat. The slices were huge. We got our food pretty quickly even though they were clearly busy The location was a little tight but it wasn't crowded. read more

Quick lunch... Saw they had Italian style sub so I checked it out. Nice counter service and they brought out my order to my table. Heated just right in the oven made the sub roll flaky and delicious. Melted cheese over the meats with just the right amount of oil and vinegar dressing. I will say it was a winner. Great sweet tea also ! read more

had ordered here in the past but what I received tonight was absolutely inedible. Ordered their 18 inch Da Vinci and it was horrible, under cooked almost no sauce and absolutely NO flavor. Called the store and was told no manager on duty until Monday, really well that explains the poor quality. Moving on, I would avoid at all costs, there are MUCH better places to get pizza. read more

Customer service sucks ass. Can't order over the phone because person on the phone would rather joke and talk with friends instead of paying attention to your order. Had to repeat myself more than three times for zip code , still got address wrong and still got name wrong. They quit delivering to us !!!! We've ordered from here every Monday night for over 3 years. Now they don't deliver to us. I think it's an issue with the web site but I can't be sure. This has got to be the worse attempt to place an order I've EVER experienced. I called to place a pick up order and things were seemingly fine until I attempted to process my payment over the phone. The young lady stated multiple times my card transaction could not process and had the audacity to ask me if the card had been turned on. I explained it wasn't my card as I had just processed multiple payments prior to calling in. She thought she placed her line on hold and began to talking about me to another employee. She came back to the line and I told her ma'am. I heard everything you just said about me and asked for the manager. She replied there was no manager on duty. I asked for her name and she said Alexa. I again requested a manager and she disconnected the call. I called back and after I told her I was the young lady she was just speaking with, her response was oh God!!! she is calling back. I asked if this was Alexa and the young lady stated she was just clocking in but wouldn't provide me her name. I told her, when I finally am able to speak w/ someone, I will be providing the name of Alexa. The call was disconnected AGAIN. Needless to say, the order was not placed at this location. I have yet to get an info on a manager and if this is the way the customer service is at this location, I will find another pizza place to go to. THE WORSE!!! read more

I've been back to Davinci's a number of times since my initial visit. Every time that I've ordered the pizza I feel that I've come away with a gift from the pizza gods. Most everything else has no taste or flavor. They want everything to be right with the way that the slices fit in the box. If the tip of a slice breaks off or the slice falls apart they'll re-cook it for you or offer you free drinks and free cookies. I'll keep going back for the pizza although the chocolate chip cookies are amazing too! read more

Their pizza is huge, great sauce, and the staff is always friendly. I feel like they are always really fast as well. It appears really clean and well kept up in there as well (although I've never eaten in, I always do pickup). I used to go to Due Amici because it's way closer to my house but they always act like I'm really annoying them by providing them business, seriously hateful expressions always, never one "thanks" or anything even when I bend over backwards to be nice and polite (and the pizza at DaVincis is better anyway) so I'd rather give my money to someone who appreciates it. :) read more

I've never had an issue with this restaurant but it's been awhile since I've ordered from here. Ordered a large meat lovers and soon as I got home the first thing I seen was a long strand of hair baked into the pizza. I called and stated the problem and the lady was like "oh ok so you bringing it back? Do you want another one" no sorry or anything. Like who wants to keep driving back and forth.. So I told the lady on the phone that we are on the way back to pick up another one. When my fiancé took the pizza back the workers were all looking at the pizza saying "ewwww, it's not mine" and none of the females had their hair wrapped up. We told the lady on the phone we wanted another pizza but she never told the cooks to remake it so we had to wait again. I'm just over this place now and I really liked this place. read more

Decent pizzeria close to home when I really just want a slice and nothing more. The chocolate chip cookies are also absolutely amazing. I'm giving them three stars because of my last order. I ordered a slice of pepperoni with ricotta added and some chicken tenders. The tenders were so thin and hard, they were barely edible. In no way worthy of the 6.00 price tag. Whomever prepared my slice took raw ricotta cheese and just smeared it all over my slice. It was so ridiculous that i laughed when i opened the box. Why wouldn't you put a few spoonfuls on the pizza and then heat it up, Davinci's?!? SMH. Moral of the story, get a slice, grab a calzone or a cookie and don't get cute. read more

Honestly just some of the best pizza since moving to Charlotte. NY style pizza. Thin crust, bigger than your face slices and simple, delicious slices. They offer slices and whole pies. The calzones here really make me happy in my tummy. The sauce on the side is a perfect balance of sweet and tangy. And it's filled with tons of ricotta and mozzarella cheese. They do deliver but only to a limited three miles. But call in and pick up your order, other wise you'll be sure to wait a bit. A small here is like a large at papa johns. They have pasta which I have to try but I've seen dishes and they look amazing too. read more

But other than that, food is great. Only exception to the above is the meatball sub. I've had it twice and it's tasteless for the most part. OMG. My usual NY style pizzeria is temporarily closed, so I Googled and Da Vinci came up. I ordered for delivery..it came when promised. Can't say if it was hot or not because my dear family didn't call me downstairs when it came. I ordered extra cheese..not needed. Plenty of toppings. I hate I didn't take a photo, but since this is my new favorite place, I will the next time. I also ordered a meatball sandwich.
