Seems like a nice new facility, although I am always just an early morning drive through customer. I've been ordering the Black Forest ham and Gouda melt with arugula for a couple of months now when recently...the last two times that I've ordered, they stopped using arugula and started using lettuce. Can I just say that melted lettuce does NOT hold up as the intended arugula would? Toasted lettuce is just YUCK! This is not a cheap sandwich in any way. I've not enjoyed having to scrape the disgusting lettuce off! Having said all of that, the drive through staff has always been super. Hopefully they will get arugula back soon! read more

Panera bread used to be really good and I used to get their cheese flatbread pizza until that all changed. Then stopped selling the flatbread pizzas last year I'm pretty sure. So that made me a bit disappointed but some special occasions I eat Panera Bread for breakfast and I usually eat their bread which is honestly really good, the cookies are ok not my favorite but I love the style of the cookie especially the Tulip Cookie. Their service is ok, the barely talk to us when we order but they usually don't say no to stuff. The place is a bit of a mess of it's still clean, in the Holly Springs Panera Bread area there a desk to keep all your plates there and they manage the desks. I really want this place to do well but they disappoint me in spite of going back regularly . The lady at the register is pleasant and efficient. Today we ordered two of the exact same sandwich......each came out different. They promptly corrected it. First time visiting this location, it was clean and spacious. Outdoor seating is available. The service was excellent. They offer the option to place your own order via iPad. I found that very convenient, especially when you're indecisive so I don't hold up the line. They also offer free Wifi. We ordered the chicken and bacon flatbread, grilled cheese and tomato soup. The chipotle sauce on the flatbread was a little spicy for the kids but overall the food was great. We will be back. read more

I ordered a full tuna sandwich with add on of American cheese and extra Mayo. It was missing the add ons (no cheese which you get charged for) and had no Mayo at all. In addition it is as if they took one cookie scoop size of tuna and spread it across the whole sandwich. For $10 that is unacceptable. In addition, the soup I ordered which was a bowl came as a cup size. Again paid for more and got less. The soup was also cold. This was the worst experience for $20. Came here on a Sunday and it was very clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Manager came to the table and made sure everything was ok. French baguette was so fresh. The chicken broth bowl came out hot and fresh. Chicken was seasoned well and very tender. The Greek salad had Kalamata olives and get cheese and the dressing was tasty. Portions are plenty. I must say every time I go to this location the food is always spot on some of these reviews are a little exaggerated I feel like and some people are just way too picky. People need to understand that we are still in the middle of a pandemic and that our workers in retail workers are underappreciated and that the managers are underappreciated and that but these people are doing all that they can speaking but nobody wants to work these days. I took drive thru , first they made me wait for like 5 mins on the microphone, took my order went home and the they gave me a cup of mac and cheese instead of the bowl I ordered. So I had to drive back after being ready to eat with my family, and instead of offering me a bowl which was what I was asking, they only offered me another cup with the explanation that they already gave me another cup. This was my first time visiting the Panera in Holly Springs. I tried to use the app prior to my visit yesterday, since I was redeeming a gift card I had gotten on my account, but the app kept notifying me that the "gift card service was down". So, I drove over to the location and went through the drive thru. I ordered a Steak and White Cheddar Panini ($10.18), a Cuban Panini ($9.79), and a group Bistro Onion Soup (enough for 4 servings - $16.99). Luckily, they still honored the "$2 off any ham product" promo I had in my account - so I got a discount on my Cuban. :) There was no one in front of me in the drive thru, so I rolled up to the payment window and paid. Unfortunately, I ended up having to wait about 10 to 15 minutes to get my order. I'm not sure what took so long, but the staff apologized to me and I noticed that they gave me two free bags of chips and an extra sprouted wheat roll to make up for it, which I appreciated. Both paninis were awesome and huge - though the Cuban was my favorite. The Bistro Onion Soup was not good, sadly. For some reason, I thought this was going to be more of a French Onion soup, but there was absolutely no cheese to be found in this soup. It was mostly beef broth and onions. Been going to Panera's for years back in the Mid Atlantic. A good place to eat if you're trying to eat clean. My favorites are the warm bowl choices, tomato soup, and ANY of their paninis. I just think they're overpriced. The Holly Springs location needs to step up their game with keeping the tables properly bused and floors clean. We used to stop here regularly, but the quality of service has been dropping for several months. It looks like they are no longer interested in having customers dine in, as half of the parking lot is now allocated to "to-go" orders, so we frequently have to park at a nearby business and walk. Moreover, they once had four self-service kiosks inside, now there are only two. We stopped there this morning around 9:00 for bagels, only to find that there were essentially none left. Usually love Panera but tonight, not so much! After not receiving two sandwiches via online delivery order, the manager offered refund but I told her I'd like the sandwiches so she promised to make them quickly and they would be ready shortly through drive thru. My daughter picked them and brought home and my sandwich was pathetic! It was the steak and cheddar on ciabatta bread. It was literally some steak thrown on the bread with melted cheese on it. I've done the curbside pick up many times & it's so convenient to order online or the app going home from appts. We also order the family meals a lot since we can get enough for all of us & it's easy to pick from the choices. The general manager Bobby is so friendly & made sure we had a good experience. I've had it with this location in Holly Springs. Since Covid we have become frequent visitors of their drive through and every time that we order soup, Mac N Cheese, and extra items on salads, this particular location drops the ball. I've been the person to call and tell the manager my experience but the next time is the same problem. Containers of soups and Mac n cheese are consistently not filled to even near the top. Seriously c'mon! It's not hurting y'all from filling the containers up a little more. These are very expensive and by the time we go to eat, there's about 6 spoonfuls. The other thing is, don't bother requesting extra olives, nuts, cheese, etc to your salad because the kitchen will not add it so don't waste your money. If you work there I would like to know, do y'all read the order fully? Not filling the soup or Mac up could be contributed to preventing spillage in the vehicle but this is a bit extreme. read more

So..2nd time visiting this Panera. First time was in Aug for breakfast and I order a sandwich. Someone from the kitchen came out and told me the bread that I had chosen was not available. She then asked named two other brands that I could pick from and I picked one and then she immediately came back and said that one wasn't available so I picked the only one left. Also they ran out of coffee twice while we were there and it was extremely slow to get refilled. Tonight was especially reminiscent of that first visit. I ordered a grilled cheese and when I got to the drive-through window to pay they told me the normal bread they make the sandwich with, they were out of. I picked another bread and all is good. I get home to eat my grilled cheese only to find out that it was just a cheese sandwich no grilling done. The cheese was barely melted and there were no grill marks on the bread itself. I believe the only thing that happened with my supposed grilled cheese was that the cheese was put in between the two slices of bread and microwaved for 20 seconds. It is very frustrating to know that the only two times I have visited this location I have not had a good experience. read more
