I'm a long time fan of Panera. Just used their drive thru for the first time. Ordered the mozzarella flatbread. I literally drove to the other side of the parking lot to eat my sandwich in my car. That proved to be impossible. There was so much oil that the bottom of the flat bread was pure mush. A huge "glob" of tomato sofrito (I guess that's where the oil came from) was the majority of the filling. Hardly any mozzarella. & unfortunately no fork in the bag to help me eat it. I tossed it & ate my chips. Will never order that sandwich again & I think mgmt needs to load ok into how it is made/presented. read more

I've eaten here 7 or 8 times, always use the drive thru. I've gotten Mac n cheese, some sandwiches, and a few salads. Today however my Greek salad had a dead fly in it.....no thanks read more

This Panera bread is one of the better ones. Food always comes out well prepared and not just "thrown together." Sandwiches usually have a good portion of meat which some Panera's lack on. Taking off one star because during lunch hour the tables can get pretty dirty and you don't see much of the staff cleaning after the guests leave. read more

This is literally the worst Panera. I just waited 30 minutes for a takeaway order. This is not the first time this has happened; the last time it was 25 minutes. When I inquired as to whether they were shorthanded, I wad told 'no, it's just a busy time'. Completely unapologetic as well. I've been to many other Panera's and never has this problem. If carrying out, only use the drive-thru. Lesson learned for me. read more

I have been to this location several times. Tonight I stopped and again they were out of baguettes, I could have chips or an apple, UGH. I am a big Panera fan and have not had this issue at any other location, only Holly Springs. I generally pass by the Apex Panera in Beaver Creek so next time I will stop there, never had that issue there. read more

The worst Panera that I have visited! On a non busy late afternoon visit Saturday we waited in the drive thru behind a single car. After about 5 minutes they finally took her order. We then pulled up and were asked to wait as well. The order when finally placed a few minutes later was simple, a hot tea and a black coffee. Once we pulled towards the window we waited another 7 minutes before the other car was serviced. Once at the window they all disappear. Finally a girl comes to the window to say they do not have dark roast and I told her any roast was fine. Then arrives a guy holding a cup and he looks at a monitor then disappears into the back. The previous girl went to stand at the far end of the restaurant and look confused. Then another girl approaches and asked if I needed cream or sugar and I said no. Now she disappears into the back. Finally after over 16 minutes and needing to get to a planned outing I pulled off. I visit Panera's across the Southeast while traveling for work and the closest one to home is the worst. The Holly Springs location is not what a typical Panera customer would expect. They do not keep up with dining room basics. The majority of tables are dirty and the floor is not swept/vacuumed regularly. The bathrooms are unkept and disgusting. Just because it's a somewhat new location doesn't make it good. Some pride in their place of work can go along way. This starts with management. read more

We frequent this Panera Bread location and are increasingly disappointed. The service is very slow. Rarely, is the order delivered to our table correctly. This place is always dirty. The tables and seats are filthy. The napkin dispenser is consistently empty. Initially, I gave them the benefit of the doubt due to being newly opened. It's a shame because we like Panera Bread. I recommend diving a bit further to another location that has it together. read more

We love thIs Panera. Most of the low star reviews are related to order times and the drive through which I have never done. We eat there at least once a week and have done so since they opened. Over that time, they have made some mistakes on our orders but have ALWAYS been friendly and quick to fix any little thing necessary. It's a great place to eat. They get 2 stars only because the food is good. For the 3rd time going in and placing a Togo order, I got home to find items missing from my order. The aggravating part is a manager (I believe the name tag said General Manager) was the one behind the line bagging the order and another manager was on the other side of the line. They checked everything off of the ticket after they SUPPOSEDLY double checked it. Instead they were just going through the motions rather than doing their job. I imagine these managers expect more out of their employees than they obviously expect out of themselves. read more

Visited on 10/5/18 at 1:30 pm and the restaurant was not crowded. We had to wait an usually long time for our food. Once our food finally came up on the counter for pick up no one was paying attention. After waiting without delivery from the staff, my friend and I went up to the counter to pick up our food and a male staff member confronted us and was extremely rude. As an avid Panera lover, I am SO disappointed by this location. I've never had a bad meal at a Panera until now. Seems like they still have a lot of kinks to work out, even though they've been open over a month. My sandwich had ice falling out of it (yes, ice) and after sending it back and questioning why my sandwich of "farm fresh produce" would have ice in it I was told they didn't know. Ok...2nd try...they had put feta cheese in it and then remembered after that I had asked for no cheese so they scraped it off. The problem with scraping feta off of bread is that it crumbles all over and gets inside the bread, which was the case here. Thankfully I noticed because my son has an allergy to feta so I did not give him any. Not sure why they couldn't just use new bread, its not like the place was busy. i give panera bread 5 stars because every single time i go i receive nothing but good service, their employees are very nice and never fail to put a smile on my face, i just went through the drive through wit my dad and we were fussing over me getting a pastry, i ended up losing that battle but was relieved when i looked at the bottom of my bag and saw a pumpkin cookie, that i got for free! o definitely recommend sitting down and enjoying their food in a nice warm environment read more

I've been to this Panera 4 or 5 times now. The first time was when they first opened and that was probably my favorite Panera experience. The place was bustling with people, it's a beautiful scene really. Slight little mistake on the food, manager replaced it immediately and gave us a free pastry for the inconvenience. Then, the honeymoon ended. Every time back here has been ok. Still like the environment, but 3 out of the other 4 visits have also had problems or mistakes with our orders. Now when we ask about remedying it, we catch some flak from the manager or someone and feel like we have to fight to get what we thought we were paying for. Never really had this kind of response at any other Panera. Might still come back just because, well, it's Panera! But would really like to see a change of heart... read more

Went through the drive thru, ordered a roasted turkey bacon BLT. Got home with the sandwich, first thing I notice was the bread slices were smaller than the palm of my hand, even took a pic because I couldn't believe they could even call it a sandwich. Took a bite, hmmm...I don't taste any bacon. Take a peak, sure enough no bacon. I am pretty sure the 'B' in BLT stands for bacon. Call the store, explain the situation, they ask me if I want to come back for a new sandwich. Tell them i'd rather not since I don't live in town. Said they would send me a coupon, take my address, 2 weeks later still no coupon. Scratch this location off my list. read more

Very very very disappointed with this specific Panera bread, I went through the drive thru to get some breakfast yesterday and the cashier told me I had just missed breakfast and the specific sandwich wasn't available, so I ordered a lunch item (another sandwich) and a refresher, I took a sip of the drink and it was pure awful, It was super bitter so I asked the cashier if I could have it sweetened and he handed me some thick sugary stuff and all that did was make the bitterness stand out more, while he went away I looked into my bag to pull out the sandwich and it had zero avocados, the name of the sandwich was chipotle avocado (or somethings along those lines).... I pointed it out and the manager took it and at that point I just asked for a refund. She gladly refunded me my $13 breakfast and never even apologized. The receipt stated that if they didn't get my order right or I wasn't happy they would offer a small treat, I wasn't even offered a simple apology. Not what I expected from the "manager" I went next door to Starbucks and mentioned to my regular barista about my experience and she gave me my entire order for free! Ordinarily, I like Panera. The food is good, and the servings are ample. However....tonight the local high school theatre group was having a spirit night at this Panera. Since our son had been involved with them, we decided to have dinner there. They didn't appear to be too terribly busy, so we thought it was a good decision. Wrong! Half the things my family wanted to order weren't available, even though it was relatively early in the evening. No cheese, no soups, no breads....you get the picture. And it got worse when our food came out. Son #1 specifically asked for just mayonnaise on his sandwich - he got stone ground mustard as well. The macaroni and cheese he ordered was not edible. Son # 2 got a completely wrong order, even though the staff that brought it out told him otherwise. My husband had a grilled cheese sandwich that looked like it had been made with a piece of cheese from a lunchable. I had French onion soup in a bread bowl. It tasted great, but, as my son put it, it looked like my portion size was the drippings of the ladle used to serve it. I should've just gotten it in a regular bowl. Now, I can accept one mistake, especially on a large order. But this was consistently wrong across all 4 orders.. Why didn't we bring it to their attention? We figured they would be even more out of things, so there was no point. This entire meal was a waste of both time, and money - the $55 we spent would've been better spent just down the road at a steak house. Very disappointing. read more
