GOT MY APPLE!!!!! Incredible atmosphere and great service. We were able to acquire our food in a timely fashion with accuracy. Only trouble was watery Mac n cheese. But, thank you so much :)

I guess I walked in on the wrong day at the wrong time... A colleague recommended this place for a lunch salad, so I arrived here at 12:20. I waited 10 minutes in line to order and another 10 minutes till my order arrived; except that was not my order... waited another 5 minutes and received my salad. Was it worth the wait? Not really, the food was not worth the wait or price for that matter.

The store did not disappoint -- it's a baker's paradise in every sense. Every possible ingredient, tool, pan, piece of equipment, and baking mix you could imagine is here, beautifully displayed and easy to browse. The space is bright, immaculate, and extremely well organized, with helpful staff ready to answer questions or point you toward something new. There's also a demonstration kitchen and a café, which adds even more to the experience. While their website is fantastic (and what we've relied on for years), the in‑person store is absolutely worth the trip. Whether you're an avid baker or looking for the perfect gift for someone who is, this is a destination worth driving for. We're so glad we finally made it -- and we'll be talking about this stop for a long time.

The cappuccino was delicious, though, with pretty latte art. Sat in the outdoor area with umbrellas and flowers; much of the "campus" had logo decor for photos and such. Unfortunately, a language exchange group took up much of the shaded seating, though only a couple cups of coffee in front of ~15 folks (please, buy something and support the business if you're going to take up that much space)?! Worth a visit and especially on a sunny day. Bough a few items at the shop and felt better!

The bread is fresh and comes with pickled carrots, cucumber, cilantro ands a protein. You can get shrimp, pork, spicy tofu, curry chicken or teriyaki chicken. I get this banh mi sub at both the Lebanon to-go shop and this White River Junction locations. I am not sure what the differences are between Cambodian and Vietnamese fare. In Phnom Penh, Cambodia, it seemed the foods I ate were more pure and clean than the Americanized Vietnamese dishes I grew up with. The Phnom Penh restaurant and to-go shops serve food which tastes similar to Vietnamese to me. I really like the dishes I've tasted so far, including the fried rice. I did not yet try the pho, here, but it looks great. The sandwich shop is better to sit down in and relax in and enjoy your food. Also, their Khmer iced coffee is yum.

Of course you'll open a…read morerestaurant here on the US Northeastern seaboard in the beauty of the Appalachian mountain range. I believe there are 4 Nepalese restaurants in the region and other than this, I've not yet been to one before. There are 2 in Burlington, this one is at Dartmouth College in Hanover and the fourth is in Quebec. What a special experience to visit this Kathmandu-style, Nepalese restaurant. The Base Camp Cafe is in the basement of a Dartmouth campus building. Getting to it is tricky if you need the elevator but go through the Mexican restaurant and down their back hallway to get to it. Everyone reviews the Base Camp Cafe's most famous app: the Mo mo's and with good reason. Our mo mo chicken dumplings were not like the Asian steamed dumplings we are used to. They are so much better! The outside of the dumpling is more like a thick wonton soup noodle with multiple layers. Sooo good! The heart chicken flavor is clean and satisfying. There are notes of cilantro apparent in the center. The golden lentil dal soup, on the other hand, was deflating. It was mainly a broth with tiny bits of lentils and not much else. It was more like eating a curried chicken broth with a lentil paste vs. a hearty soup full of lentils. The red chili curry at spice level 5 is delicious. I chose the veggie curry and it has good heat, not too intense. The tomato flavor in this curry is strong like a sun ripened tomato paste. The veggies in it are delightfully firm and crunchy. The gigantic bowl of stir fry noodles are similar to al dente fettuccine vs. a rice pasta. They have an easy smokey flavor. I requested a side of hot sauce. What an impressive first tasting experience! I can only compare it to if you could taste a crystal lake, it is like this. There is a pure, clear flavor that hits your taste buds first. Like water but condensed. Then the heat builds and builds. And continues to build minutes after. The dark green sauce gracing the top of our rice is also an experience. It's more rich and - again - condensed than any hot Asian green chili sauce I've had. It is at least made of cilantro and avocado, but also a tiny amount of jalapeño with olive oil. Absolutely loved it! I do not know exactly how to write this but there was a bit of a spiritual cleansing here and I'm not talking about digestive. Later in the evening we just felt more relaxed and positive from the high mountain peak dining recipes and exotic wall art. It's as though any lingering negative vibes fled and headed back to the hills. The service at the Base Camp Cafe is earnest, efficient and kind. Requests are met with sincerity and smiles come easily here.

The service is friendly. Brandon was my server for the evening, and he did not miss a beat. He was very attentive and provided great advice on the menu. The bees knees cocktail was so balanced, and one of the best tasting ones compared to so many restaurants that make this overly lemony or too sweet with honey. When I was asked if I would like bread, I asked what, if anything, was special about it. Brandon says, welll the bread is good but the highlight is the chimichurri sauce. Immediately intrigued, I found the dipping sauce to be less chimichurri and more like a delicious salad dressing but it was strangely addictive to dip bread in. The flash grilled Caesar had a delicious homemade dressing and briny sardines, very good as well. For dinner, I ordered the char-grilled teres major steak, paired with malbec. The steak came covered with an au poivre sauce, cooked perfectly medium, and so juicy. This was complemented by roasted carrots, and potabello mushroom, onion, and potato hash. The potatoes were large, crispy cubes. There was nothing about this meal that was less than stellar. I highly recommend it with the malbec! For how amazing this restaurant is, I was surprised that the price wasn't goug-ey. I wouldn't hesitate to come here for a great night out.
