Our hostess and later server, Leona, answered the phone and was extremely pleasant in letting us know she could get us seated. Leona recommended the Brussels and they did not disappoint with a perfect combo of roasted small Brussel sprouts with crispy prosciutto, goat cheese mousse and pickled red onions. What a great combo!! We also split the spinach salad which was perfect for winter with dried cherries, blue cheese, candied pecans and apples. We also had the artichoke fritters which had a subtle taste of artichoke and bits of tangy lemon. We split the ginger pork meatloaf and it was a creative, delicious take on traditional meatloaf. The flavor was reminiscent of the inside of a superb Peking dumpling. The dining room was decorated with beautiful area photos and there was beautiful display of custom designed knives that could be seen in a show case on the way to the restrooms. I took a photo because it may come in handy for a future gift for some aspiring chefs in my family! Excited to add Thyme to our list of stops in between our travels to and from MA to VT.

That said, the coffee, food, and service are worth it! There are two seating rooms and one of them opens out to restrooms and a very small shopping/business mall. The tables and chairs are thick, heavy, rustic wood reminiscent of a country kitchen, and the acoustics are pretty good! No echoes or a need to yell to friends or family at your own table. The service is stellar! Lots of students work here and they are top notch. The food is outstanding. Their hash browns are literally the best I have ever had. They are wispy and crispy, and will not leave grease on your plate or in your belly. The eggs are always perfect, no matter how you ask for them, and the pancakes are the best you can get without making them yourself at home. They are served with a syrup, but for $2.00 extra (at the time of this posting), you can get real maple syrup instead. By the way, their coffee is not limited to regular and decaf. There is a delightful coffee drinks menu for options to enjoy at your table or to go! Tucker's also does take out, so you really have not excuse to miss this delightful place.

It's also so picturesque - walking in from the outside - during a snowfall. I have fond memories of the dishes I've enjoyed here. The service is rapid and earnest. The ambience here is subtly-modern tavern. The first dish they do well is the basic pepperoni wood-fired pizza. It has a very substantial-by-way-of-sturdy crust: I want to say there is a dusting of corn meal beneath the bottom of the pizza, though not sure. Maybe that is why they name one of their featured pizza's, "Dust Pan." Poor Thom's pizza leftovers have been my sustenance, at times. My favorite pizza here is the Sugar Shack with Granny Smith apples, caramelized onions, smoked bacon and a maple syrup drizzle. This one is a real treat which I wish I could have all of the time. Seriously. I also love the Shepherd's Pie, here, which I don't see on the current online menu. They might prepare it for you, anyway, if they have the ingredients that evening. It's a refined take on the classic Irish pie with ultra-diced meat and veggies and exquisite flavors from the combination and seasonings. It's also the most gorgeous Shepherd's Pie I've seen. The samosas are awesome, crispy and substantial, though I did not have the best experience with the spicy green chutney once. Their buffalo and sweet Thai Chili wings rock! Favorite. Love them for how crispy they are. The burgers are good though not as memorable as the previous dishes I've mentioned. Their fries are very good especially with honey mustard. It's like you can't get enough of them! The beer and drink selection is ample. Go to Thom's!

Located in a quiet, unassuming residential area, was pleasantly surprised this place existed. Very conveniently located and not terribly far from Dartmouth's campus. Awesome outdoor seating area, and a warm, cozy interior. First thing you'll notice when walking in is how nice everyone is. Enjoyed some nice beers on tap, and had some satisfying food. From what we ordered, our highlights were the maple sriracha wings (get!), calamari, chicken sandwich, and fish&chips. Our only thing we were slightly unimpressed with was the duck poutine - didn't seem very poutine-ish, and not a lot of cheese curds. Definitely coming back if I'm in the area!

Somehow, they worked actual magic with their iced maple latte (with whipped cream), because I cannot stop ordering it. I don't understand it -- I just accept it. The food and desserts are on another level. Everything tastes incredibly fresh, and you can tell real care goes into the ingredients. The whipped cream alone deserves its own shoutout -- it holds its texture, tastes amazing, and is clearly not the cheap store-bought stuff. Their dessert cups are dangerously good: the chocolate mousse, strawberry trifle, and the raspberry/strawberry cheesecake cup are all to die for. Now let's talk savory food -- because wow. The jalapeño popper bacon melt is unreal. Perfectly cooked bacon, flavorful jalapeños with just the right kick, and everything comes together in the best way. I've also had their mushroom Swiss melt, and I don't even like Swiss cheese... yet here I am thinking about it days later. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting -- usually quiet and relaxing, though it can get a little busy during rush hours (for good reason). Whether you want to sit and enjoy the space or grab something to go, it's always a great experience. On top of all that, the staff are incredibly kind, sweet, and genuinely welcoming. They're always helpful, patient, and very understanding, which makes the experience even better every single time. Bottom line: I go here all the time, I'm consistently blown away, and I will absolutely keep coming back. If you haven't been yet, you're missing out.

The atmosphere is on the quieter side, which some people might enjoy. That said, the omelette I ordered with bacon, tomatoes, and cheddar cheese missed the mark this visit. It came out soft and the inside was cold, with the cheese unmelted. It just didn't feel like it was fully cooked through. I'd love to come back and try it again on a better day -- the spot has potential and I'm rooting for them to get the hot dishes dialed in.
