The food and service were both solid. Had the massaman curry with beef and noodles instead of rice. It was delicious. They have two menus - Japanese (sushi) and Thai. The space was pretty nice. I was severely glutened there. The first time we went, there was a female server and she was terrific and very knowledgeable about gluten allergies. On a subsequent visit, there was a rather unfriendly male server who apparently didn't understand how serious gluten exposure is for a celiac. I queried the gluten status before ordering a special, but should have queried a second time when served. My bad, my reaction was almost immediate and led to several days of severe discomfort and unpleasant symptoms. Have never been back since. read more

I got the pineapple friend rice, which was pretty good! I was hoping for it to have bit more flavor, but I still really enjoyed it. I also tried the drunken noodles, which were excellent. Lots of variety between Asian cuisine genres: this is not only a comprehensive Thai menu because you also have a full Japanese sushi bar as well as Vietnamese cuisine like Pho (noodles, veggies and meat in broth) offered. It's a packed, family-style restaurant that doesn't disappoint. They really should rename this restaurant to an Asian Fusion-ish idea -- vs. limiting their title to Thai only -- but an Asian-fusion title would not be accurate either since their dishes do not blend the 3 different country's flavors into one dish. There are 3 kinds of fare you can experience here: traditional Thai, Japanese and Vietnamese menu items. Maybe it's a local secret that they offer so much variety, and that is how Pim's Thai Orchard would like to keep it? They certainly are always busy and don't need my marketing advice! We always hit somewhere in the area of dhmc. We tried Pim's! Food was made just as we asked and was steaming hot and delish! He got the pad Thai with tofu. He really enjoyed it. The tofu was cubed in bite size pieces and full of everything! I had the Thai rice with chicken another hit!!! We were not rushed at all and ate comfortably in the booth. My rice came in a bowl shape making it all the standard size! Chicken was tender and plenty of it! I ended up taking about half home. I was stuffed! He enjoyed the pad Thai, peanuts on the side, lime and loaded! The bill was very reasonable and we were full! He even compared it to mcd's, for the reasonable price for a lovely meal to mcd's. True! Ate at Pim's again and it was again spectacular. The jalapeño popper is so good and the Tom Kha soup and the Khoa Soi Noodles... I could eat those noodles every day, the broth on both are incredible. I was feeling Asian and found this hidden gem on my way back from VT. It has a Thai and Japanese menu, with the Japanese being all sushi. I was here for the Thai food and we got a couple of things. We got the fried pork dumplings, absolutely juicy and flavorful. I wasn't a huge fan of the crying tiger appetizer which was beef, I thought it was too salty, but my bf liked it. We were basic and got the pad see ew and pad Thai (forgot to take a picture), both were very delicious. I thought they were very generous with the portions too. Not pictured was the Thai iced tea, didn't use a lot of half and half with I liked. I prefer my Thai iced tea with condensed milk, but it was still good. Pretty good thai spot! I come with high expectations, having tried many many spots in Seattle. This has a classic thai menu and an additional Japanese/sushi menu so there's something for everyone! The thai iced tea is a MUST HAVE. It was strong, sweet, and creamy- they didn't water it down like a lot of other thai places do. We started with the tofu summer rolls which were soft and crunchy- the veggies were fresh. I didn't love the peanut sauce, it was a little stinky. A friend got the crab fried rice, which was good! It was hard to see how much crab there was since it was mixed in with the eggs but it smelled and tasted like crab. The pad see ew noodles were a little mushy but there were plenty of veggies and tofu. I would come back to try some other stuff on the menu! They were nice and able to accommodate a large table for a busy Saturday night dinner. read more

I have only done takeout from Pim's Thai Orchid but they do a bustling Thai and Japanese fusion dine-in and takeout business. It's a cozy place located near Exit 18 off of I-89 with excellent service and really great food. They readily customize everything for vegans and vegetarians, and their Kee Mao is probably the best I have ever had. Next time I will take pictures before I dive in! read more

I usually have a very good experience here. Takeout order is always ready to go in a timely manner. Extra utensils etc are available. Small parking lot, fairl small seating area inside. But food is seemingly fresh and good quantity and consistently good - that goes for the appetizers, soups and salads. However, I'm disappointed in the noodle dishes I have gotten. Two times now I have ordered a noodle dish and they were over cooked and soggy. First time I got the pad Thai, second time I got the pad see ew. The pad see ew was especially over cooked, noodles mooshy and just not edible. Again, overall I generally can rely on this restaurant for consistently good food and good quantity - but not the noodle dishes which is disappointing. See attached pics. read more

We had visited a museum outside of town and were passing through Lebanon, VT en route to our afternoon itinerary. We had not had Thai food yet on our trip so this place seemed like a good bet. It is located on a fairly major street, but has only a small parking lot out front. Luckily, someone was leaving as we were pulling in, so we didn't have to look elsewhere for parking. It appeared that you could park on some nearby side streets, though. The restaurant looks like it has been around a while, but also looks like it has been refreshed / remodeled fairly recently. We got seated promptly. It seemed like we arrived during the weekday lunch rush. Our server seemed a bit grim - maybe she was just having a bad day. Other staffers seemed more cheerful. I went with Pad Thai, as it is a good standard dish for comparing. I think it came with soup as a side. The soup was good. The Pad Thai was okay, but just seemed...under-flavored. I finished it, and it was on the spicy side, but somehow a bit bland too. I think my wife liked her dish reasonably well. If I were passing through here again, I might revisit and try some alternate dish (maybe a curry). I did enjoy reading their drink menu (on a sort of flip-card arrangement on the table) including Phuket Island Iced Tea. They appeared to have a full bar, though we didn't partake. read more

The addition of the sushi bar at Pim's has enriched our experience greatly with each visit. Not only does this restaurant have the best Thai food in town, but it now boasts some of the freshest, tastiest sushi in the Upper Valley. Beyond the delicious rolls, what I am most impressed by is the sashimi. For a very fair price, you receive FIVE thick-cut pieces of fish. As someone used to receiving two to three thin, sad pieces of salmon, this was a pleasant and satisfying surprise. As the time has gone on, we have branched out to try many other menu items. Among my wife's favorites are the Coconut Soup, summer rolls and crab rangoons. My favorites include the FN3 and potstickers! I must also give an earned mention of the wings! While somewhat pricey, they are crisp, juicy and paired with a delicious sauce. I like to add the complimentary garlic chili sauce for an added kick! The service is always attentive and the restaurant is still always spotless. The restrooms are private, clean and spacious. Once again, I cannot recommend Pim's enough to anyone looking for delicious food at reasonable prices. read more

I have placed take-out orders for this restaurant twice now. I ordered curry both times and they were so flavorful and creamy and the vegetables were fresh. I also had the Thai iced tea which was delicious. The parking lot is quite small so you may need to park on the street if it is a busy night. The take out section is also a little cramped so I found myself needing to shuffle around as people entered and exited the restaurant. The first thing you notice about this restaurant is its cleanliness. The second thing you notice is this restaurant does a lot of takeout business. That means the locals recognize the food here is good. We visited for a late lunch and there was only one person other than us dining. I ordered the Pad Thai with crispy chicken and my wife ordered the Spicy Thai Basil. I could hear the frying in the kitchen so I knew the meals were being prepared from scratch. When they came out, I noticed there was a lot of food on my plate. The fried chicken was moist on the inside and crispy on the outside. It was perfect. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a great taste. The sauce and ground peanuts were on the side and had to be spread over the food. I ended up taking the leftovers home for another lunch. My wife said hers was not very spicy and the waitress responded with the condiment dish. Soon, it was just as she liked it. Our server was pleasant and helpful. The cost of our meals was very reasonable. We added this restaurant to our GPS and will definitely return many times, probably for takeout. read more

This is quite possibly the best Thai food I've had in the US. I'm from New York so Have tried most of the Thai restaurants in that area. We were passing through NH and decided to give Pim's a shot. We got the Tom Yum soup, papaya salad, ceviche, red curry and pad Thai. 10/10 for everything. Each item has a unique, distinct flavor and was delicious.
