I won't be writing a review about the food. I think anyone who has eaten at a Panera shop knows the food here is consistently fresh and tasty. What I have to give this place props for is something else entirely. Imagine a 4-day power outage during reading week at law school. The entire campus shuts down. Now imagine, if you please, the chaotic scene at this Panera when almost a hundred panicky, hungry, almost frozen into icicles law students descend. We were not a happy bunch. We all needed room to spread out, warm food and drinks, and a place to camp out with books and outlines and laptops. Panera accommodated us with a smile. Managers did not come by asking us to leave. Nor did they insist that we move our power cords out of the aisles. Instead, they did their best to accommodate our needs and that of their other customers. We had food and drinks in hand in minutes! Free refills on coffee and tea? Of course! Bonus? Even after spending 8 hours here, we weren't asked to pay for another cup. They dealt with our neuroses, our flashcards scattering around the restaurant, and our raised voices arguing whether one legal theory trumped another. They checked their Internet speed when we complained that we couldn't get our Wi-Fi to work. In essence, they did everything they could to give us a topnotch experience during one of the most stressful times of our lives. I really couldn't ask for more, except possibly, another orange scone? This panera is always slow and out of everything. They always get orders wrong Have complained many times to corporate and franchise owners but they do not care about the issues. Oh Panera bread. You are so much better then Subway, burgers or pizza. We stopped in here on the way back home for lunch after looking for a place that was healthy and hearty. Also it can keep all members of the family happy on a long day of driving. With a sandwich (which tastes like real fresh bread) there are many good add on options (chips, cookie, bread or an apple) for those big appetites where just a sandwich isn't enough. My sandwich was a grilled turkey and cheese which was as expected. This is what's great about Panera. Their consistent quality is very high from store to store. If sandwiches are your deal come here. I already have a pretty low opinion of Panera. The is epicly bland, over priced for what it is, small portions, and has a tendency to somehow garner enough business to displace real authentic places to grab a bite. My roomate and I ordered sandwiches here on a road trip because of a gift card. I ordered the steak and white cheddar panini and it managed to limbo under the bar usual Panera quality. The bread was tasteless and hard, the meat was tasteless and over cooked, the "white cheddar" tasked more like a crappy slice of store brand motz (the brick, not he fresh kind). The only thing on the sandwich that had any semblance of flavor was the sauteed onions, which were only flavorful because they (either on accident or on purpose) under cooked enough to retain some natural oniony bite. As I said, I am already predisposed to dislike Panera, but I feel like this particular establishment really pushes the envelop in terms of overpriced extra mediocre food. read more

I love the people that work here. As a full time graduate student during a pandemic, Panera has become my escape from my small apartment to do school work somewhere else while libraries and coffee shops haven't allowed seating. The people at this location are always friendly and always do their best to help and make things right even if something doesn't go quite right. Well done to the manager. read more

It isn't clear to me that my experience was typical of this Panera s these days, but it was a disappointment to say the least. I had eaten or just ordered coffee here for years but recently noticed a certain drop in the conviviality of the place. Today, I walked up to the counter and a female staffer just stared at me while she poured something into a canister; she didn't say a word; she gave no indication that she realized I was waiting for service. At least two other staffers off to the side noticed me and said nothing at all. Eventually, another woman came over and took my order (nicely). I poured myself a coffee, only to discover that it was very weak and not even hot. I wasted very little time in leaving. By the way, I couldn't help but notice that I was one of only two customers in the place: I wonder if my experience today may be typical and that a lot of people are going somewhere else and leaving Panera alone. On recent (rare) visits, I haven't noticed the same number of people here at all. I hope I'm not ruining anyone's career in this review, but I am reporting things as they occurred. read more

We love Panera Bread! It makes a great cheap lunch. So we did this a few weeks ago on our way to Boston! The food was great. I ordered a Chicken Caesar sandwich. All I can say is wow! Its a great blend of Caesar dressing, lettuce, tomatoes and bacon! Gives you a great crunch and yet leaves you craving more! This is how sandwich should be! The price is also pretty fair. I ended up paying around $8.50 per sandwich. This was expected as we have been to other Panera's. The service here was also pretty good. Easy in and easy out for lunch! Made our trip a lot better with a full tummy! It was back on the road to Boston after our stop here! Successful! read more

Used to eat here weekly until prices shot up (14$ for one small and on thin slices of bread-veggie sandwich with nothing extra) and the quality has dropped. Used to be delicious fresh bread, thick slices that dont tear apart while tryi g to eat sandwich without dressings etc. With fresh ingredients etc. Last sandwich I got fell apart because bread was so thin, almlst no veggies and one sljce of cheese on a veggie sandwich thats ridiculous to not have anything on the bread and it still tore apart lol. Food is the same as every Panera, everywhere. It's just fine. The free wifi rocks, except that between 11:30 and 1 ish, they cut you off after 30 minutes. They recently added a bar style work area with an outlet for every seat against one wall. Outlets are in limited supply elsewhere, so make sure your laptop and cell are fully charged before you go if you expect to work or study long. read more

There was a problem with an item I purchased yesterday at thw West Lebanon, NH Panera Cafe. I bought several items to go, including one Lemon Drop Cookie. The flavor was good, but the texture was all wrong.It was doughy-gummy and almost raw in the middle. I did contact their customer service people, and they offered to send me a coupon. I read through a number of reviews before writing this..... My own experience has been that there are long lines, typically around lunch time. The food I have gotten has always been good, with a very rare exception. The clerks have always been pleasant to me and despite other's comments there are generally two stations taking orders, which helps minimize wait times. You can also place your order by phone if you want to. I love the cinnamon crunch bagels, which stay fresh for days in a plastic bag. One place for improvement is the rest room (Men's) level of cleanliness and the hot water faucet which delivers nearly scalding water. Overall it's a nice place and I would like to see one in Plymouth!! read more

My fiance and I went threw the drive thru this afternoon for lunch because we had a very rude person at McDonald's and wanted to get something actually good and good service but after we left we noticed that my fiance food was wrong he ordered a salad and sandwich and what he got was nothing that he ordered we had a child with us so we were not able to go back but after paying 30$ for only half the food to be right is pretty upsetting and unfortunate. read more

I ordered at 1:09 on a Wednesday afternoon and after waiting 40 minutes for my to-go order to be ready, with people still in line ahead of me without their orders, I left without my food. When I ordered, the cashier that took my order gave me no inclination that the kitchen was running behind and that there would be such a long wait. As I left (without my food & with hungry children) I informed the line that was waiting to order that they will happily take your money but won't tell you the wait would be over 40 minutes for their food. Many people turned and followed me out the door. I expect to wait for my order at Panera, but no more than 5-10 minutes. Absolutely won't be coming to this location ever again. We are always huge fans of Panera and stopped here from out of town. Did a pick up order which was perfect and went smoothly but then I somehow ended up throwing my phone into the garbage. Returned an hour later after realizing this and the staff was so incredibly helpful. 4 employees came over to help me and fish my phone out of the full garbage without hesitation. Not only did they rescue my iPhone from a disgusting demise but they did so with humor and courtesy. 5 well deserved stars!! read more

I've always gone to this Panera and i've been going here for years. The costumer service is amazing. Super friendly and funny! The only thing I have to say is that the drive through is very slow. I've seen improvement since last year but again, it could be better. They are always considerate of my complex orders and they usually get them right just about every time. Last point to be made is that I don't think the extra charge on peanut butter is needed. I've spent too much money on it and so I get my bagels from other places now. read more

Worst panera we've eaten at. We go to Panera alot when traveling for consistent, relatively healthy meals that are quick. We stopped at 2:30 so they weren't busy at all, our lunches took forever. The Mediterranean sandwich had a blob of hummus in center, nothing on sides of sandwich, bread was completely soggy - yuck! Greek salad had very little feta, and dressing was not lemony like at other paneras, just tasted like boring oil and vinegar. Could not use wifi, connection kept dropping. Panera is Panera, so the food is pretty much the same wherever you go. I like their chai latte better than their coffee. The food is fine but sometimes service can be a wee bit slow. I don't mind standing in line and overpaying for food if the experience is good. But it wasn't. They got the order wrong, the food was average, the sandwich was falling apart all over the plate and the edges of the plate were dirty from mayo or tuna or something, there wasn't a clean table in the place (at least McDonalds has people wiping down the tables). The condiments table had no straws or lids for the cups (yet another place that makes you fetch your own beverage), and my wife waited 10 minutes after reporting the issue and finally gave up when no one came. It was run like a cheap fast food joint with the higher cost of a nice restaurant. $25 for two small sandwiches and beverages in the most filthy dining room I have seen since Taco Bell means I am not going back any time soon. read more
