The food is good as usual, and the manager is trying her best. The Kiosks are horrible. The only line was the line for cash paying costumers, and it was long and slow. It would be sooooo much better If there was 2 people taking orders instead of 4 kiosks. Please fix this issue and this will go back to being one of my favorite place to eat. read more

If I could give them 0starts I would I love Panera Bread but this one is just horrible. We stop for a quick bite and I order a grilled sandwich with egg bacon and avocado my husband got a bagel and something cinnamon roll we got our food my sandwich wasn't even grilled just with egg and bacon no avocado so my husband when to the counter and ask very polite if we did ask for avocado the lady look at the receipt and said yeah you did gave him a chuck of avocado with the peel on in his hand rock hard he called the manger over to our table told the manger how are we suppose to cut this thing and she said peel the skin and put it on the sandwich cause that is how we normally prepare it I will never go to this place again and I hope they close cause they are so unprofessional and I did even eat the sandwich I put it in the trash and walked out horrible horrible place read more

So i have never been into a panara breads before and decided to try it as i am allergic to gluten an am very limited as to what i can eat. So i figured i would give it a try. First of all i have to start by saying that i have never been waited on by someone as bad attituded oqr as condescending as the person that waited on me. I asked her if they offered anything gluten free and all she offered me was some cookie. So after already being fustrated with her attitude she then went on to tell me that even then it wasnt a guarenteed gluten free because of cross contamination. And something else about it being airborn. Im sorry but i worked in the restaurant industry for over 15 yrs and if we offered something special we made very sure there was no cross contamination. I was at Panera from lunch until dinner time doing work. The food I got was great and the service was wonderful. The staff really made sure the restaurant was clean, asked the customers how everything was and I even saw a young man help with a woman's plate. I love that the employees take pride in this location and I will come here more often when I'm in the area for work. read more

This place got horrible! Bacon turkey bravo had one piece of bacon. The soup was watery, was supposed to have pesto. The bread for the sandwich was really thin, used to be like Texas toast. No flavor at all in this meal. The Keene location mops the floor with this place. Went in for a quick lunch, took a while for the sandwich, the people making the sandwiches did not change gloves once while I was there. They seemingly went from handling shellfish to grilled cheese with no glove change. Allergy awareness must be addressed with these people handling the food. The girl doing trashes and cleaning dining room was clearly out of it, not a great lunch. read more

I used to go there for coffee and bagel to go about 2 years ago. However after going there a few times and finding no coffee in the urns, I gave up. I would go to the Panera closer to my work location, where coffee was always plentiful. I went back to Panera yesterday to pick up some lunch. Ordered soup, salad, and a sandwich to go. I stupidly did not check that I got the whole order until I got home. I was missing the sandwich. I did not have the time or energy to fight route 13 traffic to get back to Panera to get the rest of my order. Lesson learned. I'll be heading to the Daily Bagel from now on for lunch. The food Is your the typical panera bread. At lunch time this place is pretty packed but they do a good job at moving customers along . My two main issues with this location are that its at the mall which is good and bad. The bad part being parking can sometimes be an issue because it's close to chuck e cheese and popular stores . So you may have to walk a little. This location also does not honor panera promotions because it is not a corporate store it's a franchise . At most paneras when you order a meal and drink you get a desert for .99 cents. Not here. So a drink , sandwich and cookie could cost you about $14! That's way too much for panera . read more

Although the service is spotty at times at this Panera, the food is usually consistently good. I did try the Thai chicken salad this last visit and probably wouldn't get it again. It was ok but didn't knock my socks off. My favorite is the Asian chicken salad. But their soups, mac and cheese and sandwiches have always been good too. First of all- I love Panera in general so I may be biased. That being said this location never disappoints. After beginning to work in this area 2 years ago it became a place I frequented for lunch. Since the introduction of rapid pick-up I often have swayed my coworkers to choose panera for lunch I since picking it up is so easy (just grab the bag!) My favorite thing about this location is that they give hefty portions for half-size salads. Other locations I've received meager servings. I most often order the Thai chicken salad which is delicious. Also of note I probably order from this location at least once per week and I can't think of one time where they got an anything wrong in the order for my coworkers and I. Like I said before, I always remember good service and bad service. I love the food here but will NEVER return, and neither will anyone at my work based soley on the service we received. We were trying to set up a catering order for my bosses retirement. I was talking to an employee named Jessie. She seemed polite at first but then came an attitude out of nowhere. It was like I was the devil. We just wanted sandwiches and salads. I was in the process of telling her my order and she kept interuppting me. I asked if it was possible to get some onions on the side for people to add to their sandwiches. She said "we dont do that here, we arent subway". I heard another girl laughing in the background. I gave her the benefit of the doubt and proceeded with my order. I asked about the types of desserts they offered for catering. I asked if we could get a cookie platter. She said no because it wouldnt fit in her car and the cookies wouldnt be done in time for an 1130 delivery. Sorry, but in my experience, if someone is ordering a rather large order, businesses normally do everything they can to accomodate them. I just wanted a side of onions and a cookie tray. She hung up on me after I asked when the cookies are normally done. I told me boss about this and he was enraged as well as the whole company was. Food is good service is horrible woman was complaining about being at work talking about how she was wishing she wasn't there and had horrible attitude and costumer service skills. When kindly asked for things she didn't put in the bags or on the trays such as forks spoons etc. she was very rude. Witnessing the workers flirting joking and swearing was uncalled for. Honestly disappointed. Panera is a great chain but needless to say I won't be returning anytime soon maybe for the rapid pick up where I don't have to subject myself to the unacceptable behavior. Just to think these people get my money at the end of the night disgraceful. Panera needs to hire better employees who will not tarnish the well respected name of which they work for. This was one of the places where I loved to go for a quick sandwich and unfortunately they are now off my list. I find their food too salty (especially the soups) and the sandwiches are a far cry from what they used to be when Panera was great. I thought I had one bad experience so I waited for a few months and went back yesterday to give it another shot......boy was I surprised!!! I ordered a pick two selection including, mac and cheese with a steak and white cheddar panini. The mac and cheese although salty was okay, the steak panini was a huge disappointment. There was only 2 thin slices of shaved steak on the panini.......I paid a total of $11 for my meal, chips and drink....where is my steak! Panera needs to go back to what they used to be and avoid compromising quality for quantity. I still like their bakery section.....so I wouldn't say don't go to Panera.....but stay away from the Steak and White Cheddar panini. Trust me. read more

I stopped in around 1:30 on a Friday, stood in a long busy line for 20 & ordered a Mediterranean veggie sandwich- with no onions. After waiting another 15 minutes- while a 'order- checker' examined every bag & plate- scribbling on the receipts with her big black marker & barking instructions to the line cooks- I received my sandwich- got home 15 minutes later to discover my sandwich full of onions. Frustrated, I called panera to let them know what happened- and waited another 10 minutes to talk to a manager- before I hung up & gave up trying to make this right. After all the years Panera has been in my area I visited for the first time today with my daughters for lunch. I don't understand what all the rave is about as I was not impressed. I ordered the summer corn chowder and tomato / mozzarella flatbread with a blueberry peach smoothie and my daughter chicken sandwiches with advocate ( I don't remember the name of them) and soups. First in my daughters sandwich there was a big chunk of chicken that was pink and appeared uncooked. When brought to the attention to a woman who appeared to be a manager her response was " we get it that way, we can't fix it we don't cook it here" i told her to take a look it was pink. After us not backing down she offered my daughter a new sandwich. Mine soup and flatbread sandwich finally came out and my soup was not hot, it was slightly warm to say he least. The flatbread on my sandwich was so hard it was like a sandwich on crackers. I had no idea there was oil in the sandwich as it did not say that on the display of menu items on the board , so when I bit into the sandwich oil cane spurting out and land on my shirt leaving an oil mark the size of a dime, my hands had oil on them as did my face. I am hoping I can get the oil out of my shirt as it was only my second time wearing it. I still did not have my smoothies and it had been 20 minutes since we ordered it and my daughter no sandwich. I went up to ask about the sandwich and it was just coming out. There was no barista and I was not told when ordering so still no smoothie. This was explained when I wen back up asking why I did not have it yet and to tell them I did not have the cookie either. At this time a barista came out she had told me she knew nothing about the smoothie and would make it. By now everyone was done lunch and finally my smoothie is done, I was given an extra cookie for the wait. Really?? I found this to be my first and last experience at this place. A quick lunch turned into an hour and things came out over time not all at once like it should have, and a ruined shirt on top of a bad lunch. A nice hot soup and sandwich with a healthy smoothie was what I would have liked to enjoy all at once on this cold and rainy day. To bad too because if the soup was hot it would have been really good and the sandwich on softer grilled bread and not a oily cracker mess would have tasted wonderful as it was all fresh ingredients inside the sandwich. read more

Get bread and bagels here a couple times a month, but this morning was a bad experience... the register girl was not polite and should not be in the front of the store.. the help that was just ordered by the register person were polite and courteous. Very happy with the food and when I had to make a change to the size of my order, Wendy was very helpful and pleasant about the changes I asked her to make. Panera Bread has become the place in Leominster for business meetings. The service is almost always fast and is always pleasant. Food and beverages are excellent always. Make sure you acquire your Member card and present it always. Not sure what the criteria are, but I occasionally get a something free as a result. I was there with family last night (630) the place was packed. Service was wonderful but the employees and customers were melting!!! After watching the kind young man at the register sweat I spoke to the manager who seemed completely surprised. I spend an hour in the dining room where the temp was the talk among other diners. I left at 715, never cooled off at all, made my soup hard to enjoy. PS: it was cooler outside! read more

To start my experience at Panera Bread I was greeted at the door by an employee who was leaving for the day. I ordered my meal from the new kiosks available. My meal was very simple and no specific details were added. I ordered a you pick two combo; grilled cheese & tomato soup. I also got a small fountain drink to go along with my meal. As I headed over to the fountain drinks I was very disappointed that the passion green tea was not refilled, I chose plum ginger tea instead and as I reached for a straw and lid, there was no lids. As I waited for my meal my friends and everyone around me had gotten theirs within 5 minutes of sitting down. After my friends had almost finished their entire meal I still hadn't gotten my food. So at this point I was very frustrated and disappointed so I went up to the bar counter where you get the food and I see my food waiting there. But the buzzer I had received, to know when my meal is ready did not go off. I told a employee it must not be working and she did not take any time to check the buzzer or put it to the side so other customers wouldn't have the same problem. I was told to put it in the pile to the side with the rest of the buzzers that went off for people to get their meal. I then took my food back to my table to finally enjoy it and I soon realized it was cold. I did not complain to any employees or ask them to remake it because I was absolutely done with this establishment and waiting around for everything. As I cleaned up my meal, they then filled the green tea and put new lids. So I refilled my drink with the green tea and walked out of the establishment to my car. While taking a sip I noticed a weird taste lingering. Soap. I am completely and utterly disappointed with this company and I wish I could get a full refund. And a drink without soap! read more

If I could give zero stars I would, I called to place an order for pick up and I later found out it was the manager who answered (his name is Scott), he was being rude to me as I was making a substitution on my order, as though I was inconveniencing him and I told him never mind I didn't want to order because he was being rude. He said that was fine and hung up on me. I was nice to him the whole time. I called back wanting to speak with the manager and a woman named Jessie answered I told her I wanted to speak to the manager and she said that I was just speaking with him prior. First of all totally unacceptable behavior from a store manager (Scott), I'd expect that from a kid but seriously?.. Jessie told me she was the other manager so I explained to her the situation of why I was disappointed and therefore not placing any order and all she said was sorry you feel that way have a good day and hung up, before I could even finish explaining why I was disappointed. I emailed and also called the customer service number about the HAIR in my Broccoli Cheddar Soup the day it happened, which was on Saturday March 29th. Both the website, and also the hotline stated that they would call me within 7 days. Guess what, it's now the 7th business day, and NO PHONE CALL or EMAIL! Trust me when I say this, but look behind the counter the next time they make your food, good chances are that there will be "surprises" like the one I found in your food! Every single time we go there they get our order wrong, every single time! They never offer the stupid treat it says on the receipt they are supposed to offer you if they do get it wrong, once we complained about over charging us and they acted like it was our fault, the staff including management are rude and dismissive...I've been to other Paneras where they are super nice, for sure we won't go to the one in Leominster anymore. read more

We usually prefer Panera over any other fast food options. However, my husband and I had food poisoning from eating their NE Lobster Roll today, 6/3/13. We both also had their lemonade. When we got home, I called the restaurant to report our experience, but the manager was dismissive and rude. I just wanted them to be aware the possibility that it could be a severe concern. I'm very disappointed with the manager's response. Will not return to this particular Panera location. read more

I think Panera bread is very good but I'm writing a complaint because I do think they are fairly expensive for small portions and every time I get a salad I find they don't put enough dressing on it. Even when I ask for extra dressing, I never never have enough dressing and it's so expensive to have plain lettuce and chicken with no dressing. Then it comes in a box, rather than plastic so I can't even shake it up to try and get it over most of the salad. :( Very dissappointing read more
