Thank you for paying attention to my picky sandwich orders and getting them right! We love the Asiago Steak Sandwich and we were so excited to see it on the menu. My 7 year old loves this sandwich but he can't take the spices so his only has the provolone cheese and arugula on the Asiago bread and the child moans with every bite. I ordered 2 sandwiches both with chips, a bacon mac and cheese, 2 cookies, a souffle and a drink. Waited about 20 mins, I was cool with that, there were others ordering, picking up and drivers waiting on deliveries. I dropped the mac and cheese at my daughter, who works in the area. Drove home (Covington), gave my mom her breakfast, lunch and her dessert ( she really enjoyed the asiago spicy steak). Went to eat my souffle and it was burnt and hard as rock. Love love love Panera! This one however, lacked a bit. The cashier rushed us as we ordered, and she wasn't patient with us as we asked about food options. The food was good though. I had the creamy chicken wild rice soup and the chipotle chicken panini. My soup and panini were so good! I also took advantage of the .99c pastry and tried the cobblestone muffin. The muffin was hard, stale and dry, I was disappointed because their pastries are normally very good. The tables and floor were dirty and they needed more lids in the fountain area. The first time I tried the Green Passion Smoothie was here at this location and I'm addicted now. I'm not sure if it's the girl who makes it here that just makes it really good but I would definitely recommend it. It's a smoothie with no dairy which I love. I ordered a Green Goddess Salad with Chicken. It states that the salad comes with arugula, romaine, baby kale, and red leaf blend. It was just romaine lettuce. It's supposed to be topped with grape tomatoes, pickled onions, applewood smoked bacon, avocado, and boiled egg. There was no bacon, or regular tomatoes but just a few pieces. A half of a half avocado. It was this big bowl of lettuce with a sprinkle of toppings. That was a waste of my 13 dollars. Plus the free baguette was not in the bag. If you're ever in this area and want Panera, I suggest that you go to the location in Conyers. My last two experiences (last week and today) were unacceptable. Last week, I ordered a turkey chill. I waited about 10 minutes for my order and the guy tells me that they were out of it. I ask the young man why didn't the cashier tell me that, and his response was that she didn't know. I politely recommended that they should inform the cashiers up front. Today, I ordered a grill cheese with white cheese and it was wrong. I went back to the counter to inform them of the mistake. The lady tells me that she put both cheeses because she didn't know to take the other off and she turned around. I tried again to explain and I received the same treatment. Finally, I asked could she make it again with the cheese I requested and she aggressively says, "he's making it." I couldn't believe it. What about customer service? I don't know if this Panera is understaffed or if the staff is just overworked or under-trained, but I just had a not-great experience with this store...I ordered the Napa chicken salad sandwich, and when I got it home I found that I had paid $10.41 for a lettuce and not-ripe tomato sandwich. There was a tiny bit of chicken, no almonds, and one-half of a grape. (Yes--1/2.) The sandwich had been slammed together and seemingly nobody cared... Been to this location 3 times. This time was the worst of them all. Everything was going well until i found mold in the fruit cup half way through eating it. As i wait in line to let them know about the mold..the associates were having their own conversation for several minutes which I can't stand to go into any business and the employees are talking about things that should be talked about on their lunch break or after work. The lady refunded me and her attitude was like she could care less. I was offered a Danish but declined her attitude about the whole thing was blah which was crazy to me cause I'm the one who should of had a attitude not her.
