Panera bread location that had a much anticipated wait to the fern creek area of Lousiville just off bardstown road near the gene Snyder Exit. This is the first business to open in the long awaited and planned Southpointe commons shopping center. Panera bread is a pretty well known franchise so usually on places like that I won't review the food but rather the service, speed and cleanliness. Me personally I enjoy there breakfast and pastries. Lots of good options there. The lunch and dinner sandwiches are solid and they have some cool bred bowl soups. This location is brand spanking new so it was very clean and modern and well decor. I did a pickup order and they got the order processed and filled very quickly. However after getting home they messed the order up and forgot to put our sides in the bag completely. Being a brand new place it could be a training issue or just a newness thing so I'll give them the benefit of the doubt. Overall, very glad this location is here. Being new hopefully they work out some kinks and keep it nice and updated.

Grilled Cheese with some a delicious sauce.

I come here quite often and the staff inside and through the drive tru is always professional. The food is always tasty and it seems like the menu is updated regularly which is great too. I don't eat inside much but I will say the cozy feeling is no longer there. It seems they have done some remodeling and now it's wider but less interesting and intimate. Too bad that was one of the features of Panera Bread. Oh, I might add the rewards after so many visits are not as good as before. Nothing is free for your many visits. Anyways I order the newest grill cheese sandwich and it's good. The photo is awful but the sandwich is not. Try it.

We stop by this Panera bread on the way to work one day and got our staff some cookies and some other sweet treats. They really enjoyed it and the food was very flavorful and I must say they make a pretty good cookie

    Turkey Chili - delish!

This location has far more on their menu than most. Turkey Chili for instance. I am so pleased to have this seasonal chili once again!

Little expensive but I guess you pay for what you get so it's today I got a ham and provolone regular and the sign said $8.50 And it rang up 1171 for a regular ham and provolone so it's a little expensive but it's still really good. Service is always top-notch here. The ambience is nice and clean. I would definitely go back.

While normally a fan of Jersey Mike's I will admit that this wasn't our best experience. I get the impression that this store isn't very old and there must have been a great deal of training going on. I counted 10 or 11 personnel on staff during the entirety of our visit. That's a lot of people. And by "that's a lot of people" I mean that there were so many that they were tripping over each other. The store was mostly clean, with the tabletops being the exception. They could have all used some attention and we had to actually wipe food crumbs off of the table when we sat down. I ordered a turkey and provolone (a cold sub) and my wife got a cheesesteak (a hot sub). I ordered mine Mike's Way, and I wish I was paying more attention. Yes, I like lettuce and tomato and onion on my sub and I also like vinegar and oil, but not NEARLY as much as this sub had on it. While I was conversing with the person next to me in line the young man who was "Mike's Way"-ing my sub decided that more vinegar and oil wasn't enough, so kept adding more. When it came time to pay we clearly stated that I wanted chips and a drink, my wife only wanted a drink. They rung us both up for chips and a drink, so we ended up with a bag of chips for both of us because the person who rang us up wasn't listening. I got my sub and our chips and drinks and returned to our table. Still no sub for my wife...and there wouldn't be for nearly another 10 minutes (and that is not an exaggeration). Like I said, there were A LOT of people behind that counter. I did not enjoy my turkey and provolone sub. Too much oil. Too much vinegar. It made the bread soggy, it made the top bun slide around, and it made it an absolute mess to eat. My wife and I resigned ourselves to a less-than-stellar visit. Before we left the restaurant I wanted to use the restroom. Shortly before I went to use the restroom a male employee entered. I went back to try the door 2 or 3 times, but the employee was still in there (my wife was sitting facing the restroom.) Waited 15 minutes to use the restroom. Never was able to because I got tired of waiting. I want to thank that employee for being considerate of the customers. (#sarcasm) While it wasn't an entirely bad visit, it's nowhere near what we normally expect from Jersey Mike's. The next time I'm in the mood for Jersey Mike's, this definitely isn't the location I'm heading to.

Yeah heine bros franchises have grown immensely throughout the city of Louisville lately and fern creek as of recent times really needed some coffee shops. So it made sense for Thai location to pop up close to the gene Snyder expressway exits and entrances. This particular location is a tad different from others as it is drive thru only. So their is no visiting the interior or dining in. On our first visit here we used the app to place our order. We pulled up to the drive thru gave our order number and received fast and accurate service as they had everything prepared on time. It was breakfast time so we got some Good to go with our drinks. I went with a Bacon and egg flatbread which was essentially a breakfast quesadilla (it even came with salsa) and my wife and I shared a Chocolate peanut butter scone that the worker offered and heated up For us. For our drinks my wife went with a Raspberry limeade refresher and I went with a Iced hot chocolate. I personally enjoyed my drink. Had good flavor and was tasty. My wife didn't really care for her raspberry limeade but it was something new for her. At other Heine bro locations she has gotten refresher flavors she has enjoyed. My flatbread while on the smaller end was tasty. The providing of salsa was a big plus for me. The scone was amazing and will Be an item we get frequently when visiting. Overall a nice simple and small drive thru location. Fern creek recently also had a Starbucks open so it is nice to finally Have some quick coffee house locations. Available and we now have a variety to choose from. I feel like this location is in a perfect spot and will do extremely Well, especially if they continue to have quick and accurate service like they did on my visit.

The local eatery on the other side of Taylorsville Road the weekend before was a huge let down, but we'd heard nothing but good things about Boone's. The menu board isn't a board but actually more like a scroll, with all the menu items written on the 3 rolls of brown (for lack of a better word) packing paper on the wall. HIGH marks for creativity! (Hopefully the menu items don't change TOO often. It would be a headache to write all that stuff down regularly!) I opted for a spicy roast beef sandwich (exactly what I don't remember. I've slept since then). You can also get chips or one of a few types of home made salads (think macaroni salad, potato salad, etc) or cole slaw. I'm a HUGE fan of cole slaw, and in the case it looked delicious and peppery (like me). While they were making our sandwiches we chatted with the owners a bit and they seem like really nice, down-to-earth people. The told us how some of the menu options got their names and a little history of the business. It's really nice to to be able to chat with the owners. It wasn't long before our food was ready. My wife had, basically, a Rueben minus the sauerkraut (I hate that stuff) and a bag of chips. We both got a bottle of water. Our total was about $38. I've seen a number of reviewers comment on the cost of their meals. We had no complaints at all. They're serving Boar's Head meats, which a higher class/higher quality than most restaurants go near. You're also paying for locally, home made foods. I'm willing to bet that not a single food item came ready-made out of a jug or a box that came from Gordon's food. This is genuine food made with care and pride by the owners themselves. There's a small seating are behind the counter area and a much larger seating area outside, but the weather wasn't suited for such chicanery. We REALLY enjoyed our first visit to Boone's Deli. I think they've got a great product and I hope they stay around a long time.
