I'm a huge fan of Panera but this location can be unpredictable. I went through the drive thru today to get a late lunch. I was told they were out of French baguettes. This has happened twice, during the day, at a company known for their bread! The food is usually good but check your order to make sure it's right before you leave. The quality of their food is good and the customer service has always been good. My problem is their CONSTANT INCONSISTENCY when it comes to the portions used on their VERY EXPENSIVE salads. The only time I've ever gotten the full portion of chicken on my GREEN GODDESS COBB salad is when I'm complaining about being shorted the time before. I had to complain sooooo many times I just stopped buying them. At over $10.00 for a full salad, getting the minimum of what's promised should NOT be an issue...but it is. They did it to me again today ( Oct 30, 2019)... I shouldn't of given in but I was craving one. I know I'm not the only person who they've done this to, not the only one with a food scale. I am disappointed in this place. I had been to several different my PBs in the metroplex and was excited to have one built in Mansfield, but that has waned. I first was disappointed in the drive through. The wait was incredible - close to 20 mins, but it was for better food right? Then, on different visits, I had the different soups - broccoli cheese and potato. Both had a disappointing taste, but what sent me over the edge to complete disappoint was the Mac and cheese. I had to find out the hard way that PB does not make the Mac and cheese on sight, but actually microwave it from frozen. Parts of mine were still frozen! I immediately took it back to get nuked to a higher temperature. I just had higher hopes for this place. Disappointment is the feeling I have for PB in Mansfield now. read more

It's hard to provide a rating without rating the service. Soooooo slow! Have plenty of time to wait. Not only was there an issue with the register when we were ordering the kitchen was slow!! No sense of urgency even delegation was poor. I'm hoping the bagels aren't burned since the one person putting the order together was haphazardly moving around in the kitchen from one thing to the next. I love panera and have had some great study sessions and dinner with my friends there. But in the past few months, I have to noticed a drastic decline in their service and food. I have been to this location on several occasions and been told that half the items I am trying to order they are out of. I had gone one time with my sister and they told me that they were out of bread. How can you be out of bread??? It's in your name Panera BREAD! There have also been several times that my family and I have attended to have waited in the drive through line for over 30 minutes. Instead of getting to spend a nice night with the family watching a movie, we had the pleasure of waiting in the car. All I have to say is that Panera needs to step it up or they will be losing my business for good. read more

This was the worst experience at Panera I've ever had. Marty, the cashier, huffed and puffed through our entire order like she was too good to take our order. It had been a while since I have been here and I asked about the $0.99 pastries they used to sell and she sighed about it just being cookies - which is okay with me I just didn't know. Then, I realized when our food came out she didn't even ask if we wanted bread or chips. And when I went to ask about my dessert she was talking to other employees and rolled her eyes at me and huffed about getting it for me. Certainly not the best Panera location I've been to. Stopped ordering salads to go because the containers are nearly empty. Had one incident where the lid wasn't closed on a broth bowl in a to go order so it ended up leaking out of the container into the car. The restaurant gave us a refund for the meal. Most of the time there are no issues, but be sure to check your order before you leave this location. read more

This location has gone downhill. We went for lunch at 1:00 on a Friday afternoon. It wasn't too busy since it was after the main lunch rush I'd imagine. My boyfriend ordered the SW Chile Chicken Salad & I ordered the pick 2 with soup and the same salad. We also got the same type of salad to go for my co worker. As we waited for 30 min for our order one of the managers sat behind us at a table working on something and continuously blew his nose into several napkins. Gross!! The food came out and the soup was super thick and cold but I ate it because I was so hungry at that point. Then we notice 2 of the 3 salads didn't have chicken on them. I contemplated saying something about it but then the manager blew his nose again and I brought mine to the manager at the counter and he refunded me. As he was working on the refund one of the cooks came out from the back asked what the problem was and then proceeded to use my fork to dig through my salad and look for the chicken..... manager has it handled at this point dude. I actually apologized to the manager because I didn't want to seem rude and his response was "no you're good it's just frustrating because 3 different people see the food before it comes out" To top it off the restaurant had a funny smell of dirty sweat when we walked in. Pretty sad I won't be back, I really liked Panera when it was good. read more

Nice to have different sandwich options in Mansfield. There is an option to order via a person or computer screen. If you order on the screen there's a buzzer that you pick up and place your order under that number. The food is the same as it is at every panera, but I do recommend the pick 2. It has good portions and I left full. read more

I love Panera, it is one of my favorite places. Especially in the winter for a warming soup and hot sandwich combo, this place used to have the most amazing French onion soup, sadly they changed the recipe and added one with a much sweeter taste, that being said the cheese and broccoli soup is very good. The bread, bagels and scones are very very good. Highly recommend. read more

I think they've gotten most of the new restaurant kinks worked out. This has been my go-to place. Always fresh. I love that you can order on the touch screen in the restaurant as well. My order is always accurate when I do this. I would highly recommend this location. I went here last night after a gross-out at the Chipotle down the street. It was refreshing to have fresh Panera in a restaurant that is clean and smells nice. read more

I love Panera Bread and usually have a good experience. So I don't know what went wrong Friday at this location. We ordered at the kiosk for dine in. After waiting 45 minutes I asked a server what was taking so long. After another ten minutes the caterer brought our food in a bag and stated he had found our order on the take out shelf. The panini was cold, I didn't receive the turkey bravo sandwich that I had ordered, the smoothie was now melted and the onion soup didn't have cheese. We asked to speak to the manager but never saw that person. We won't be back to this Panera. read more

This location SUCKS I've come here maybe 4 times over the past couple months and everytime, I had to wait 45 minutes, regardless if it was busy or not. I don't know what their issue is but they need some better time management skills. I haven't had this issue at any other locations. This is the last time I'm coming to this location. Tried to call in an order after my wife had day surgery. Drove all the way across town, could not get them to answer. Came to the location and the drive through line barely moved. Food was OK, but to pay $26 for 2 half sandwiches, 2 cups of soup and 2 drinks is not something I will not do again at this location. Only a few tables were occupied, but had to search for the "cleanest" table as not one was bused and clean. No music or anything piped in so was almost uncomfortably quiet. I cleared my own table (since they obviously were not busing tables) and the trash area was full and dirty. I have been to several Panera Bread locations around the country, and this was by far the worse I have experienced. I hope management or franchise owner takes steps to improve or I will not be back. read more

My wife & I have been to many different Panera bread locations even in different states. We live in Arlington and usually go to that one. But we decided to try this location in Mansfield. We decided to try this location and what a mistake that was. We tried to order from the kiosk and they crashed twice so we gave up and went to the counter. They had what my wife ordered. But I ordered the 1/2 sandwich with a soup. After each soup I ordered one of the cooks would walk or and say they were out of that one. Beginning with my favorite broccoli and cheese. "Nope we don't have it", ok then I'll try clam chowder, "nope we don't have that one either" ok then the corn type soup, "nope" I finally just told them to tell me what they do have. Chicken noodle soup was all that was left. Keep in mind it wasn't closing time. It was only 830pm. We finally got our food. The sandwich was OK, not great but ok. The soup however was lacking in chicken but for maybe one chicken chunk and a bunch of broth. All in all needless to say I won't return and I'll make sure to go out of my way to tell people to avoid this location like the plague. My visit was bad enough to sign up to Yelp just to make an account to share my bad experience. As I can see with all these negative reviews I'm not the only disgruntled customer. AVOID!!! read more

I have never been to a Panera before and have heard lots of great things about the restaurant so decided to check it out. It took me a while to order, but "ABBY" the cashier was super friendly and helpful! I asked her a lot of what was on the sandwiches, salads, etc. and how the "you pick 2" worked and she was very thorough and wasn't hesitant or annoyed. Not your typical fast food experience where they don't care at all! Need more employees like her. Great service, food, and environment. Keep it up Panera! read more

The bread was so hard on my sandwich, it cracked my dental partial completely across 4 of the 5 front teeth. It totally broke by the next day and the Panera company, refused to help me out with this. So now I have no upper front teeth and no way to get another set. This company sucks when it comes to customer relations !!!!!!! read more

Pretty disappointed in this location. My family and I have ignored the awful customer service (esp Hannah and Gabby) for some time now due to the fact we enjoy healthy breakfast and lunch options. Even though they are always out of several items.. We had spoke a manager before regarding breakfast hours. She was very nice and told us they have specific breakfast hours but we were more than welcome to order breakfast anytime of the day it may just take longer to prepare! No problem. We have done this several times no problem. We tried to order breakfast 15 min after normal breakfast today and were denied. She said breakfast is over. My husband said we normally order after breakfast hours and have no problem waiting per the manager. All she said was sorrrrrry. We left. Not sure why all of a sudden after months of ordering breakfast this changed. Explanation would have been nice instead of a immature sorrrrrry. This location's staff is a joke.
