How is this a full cup of fruit???

I have been a long term Panera customer and I am disappointed in how they have become recently. Their prices have gone up and their quantity has been reduced. E.g. I asked for a fruit cup and I get one that is half full but I am charged for a full one. Their half sandwiches have reduced in size as well. I understand the margins are low in food industry but if they continue this trend they will lose customers quickly.

This is not acceptable anytime, but ESPECIALLY during a VIRAL PANDEMIC. This is highly unsanitary. Management clearly has done a poor job teaching their employees proper aseptic technique, which is currently a matter of life or death.

    Steel cut oatmeal

Generic Panera. I stopped by for breakfast on the long drive up to Maine. For three people, we ordered a bowl of the chicken noodle soup, a muffie, and oatmeal with strawberries and pecans. The chicken noodle soup was a bit too salty for my liking and they were definitely not generous with the ingredients. This is a problem I've seen across all locations. The muffie was good. The oatmeal was so bland. After I got past the initial few spoonfuls near the top of the oatmeal, I realized they hadn't actually mixed the cinnamon sugar throughout, so the rest of my oatmeal was flavorless. Meh.

Ordered a SCRAMBLED egg bacon and cheese and got this. Seemed bothered I came to order. Always out of something or order is incorrect

Kind of dissapointed to get a bacon turkey bravo with pesto junk on it. It tastes horrific. I unfortunately waited a while to get this.

It's your average Panera but the place is clean, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. Would recommend.

Unfortunately, this visit was a disappointment, especially compared with our last experience here…read more We started with the Italian salad wedge, which I'd give 4/5. The dressing was delicious, the meats were good, and the lettuce was crisp. No complaints there. Next, we ordered the meatballs, and unfortunately, some appeared to be unevenly cooked. It also seems like the recipe has changed since our last visit, and not for the better. The sauce was overly sweet and lacked seasoning. 1/5 for the meatballs. We also had a pepperoni pizza. The pepperoni itself was good, but the overall pizza missed the mark. The undercarriage was limp, the crust had a burnt taste, the sauce was too sweet, and the cheese was clumpy rather than nicely melted. 2/5 for the pizza. Finally, we tried the gnocchi alla vodka. The gnocchi itself was fine, although it didn't seem particularly fresh. Unfortunately, the vodka sauce appeared to have broken and was also lacking seasoning. Overall, we really wanted to enjoy this meal, but too many things were off this time around. Given how much we enjoyed our previous visit, it was especially disappointing to see what seems like a change in the recipes and overall execution.

** Burger and Donut Review **…read more Outstanding space with a rustic modern look, a 4-sided bar, balanced seating (booths, tables, high-tops), an outdoor patio, and a private room. My wife and I had the pleasure of sitting in seats more akin to living room furniture-- that's a good thing. Also good was the breeze that blew in from the deck on a hot day. -- Blackened Cod Sandwich: This was my wife's lunch and it looked very good, with a brioche bun, and no shortage of condiments. Most importantly, the tall portion of fish was very moist and very well seasoned. My small taste didn't have the classic "blackened" vibe, but it was very good. A mini basket of fries provided plenty. Probably frozen, but good quality and a good balance between crisp and droopy. -- Dry Aged Burger: As a burger aficionado, that's what I came for, and a dry aged one-- a rarity around Boston, sadly-- gets my attention immediately. This one, ordered medium rare, brought a decent crust and decent moistness inside, though both could be more pronounced. It was probably closer to medium than medium rare, and the brioche bun was a white bready under the dome, but it worked. The dry aged flavor came through immediately. Good supporting cast among the sauces and vegetation, and same fry basket treatment as on my wife's plate. Overall, good instead of the hoped-for great. -- Donuts: We came at brunch, so this was a nice option for us to treat as a dessert. My opening came when I saw another server walk by with a plate and I asked her upon returning, "What was that plate of meatball-looking things?" She said those were the apple cider donut bites, and proceeded to gush that they were her favorite thing on the menu and a don't-miss item. This prevented me from having to twist my wife's arm, so it was a done deal. The "bites" were fairly large, closer to baseball size than golfball size, with a nice thick outer crunch yielding to a very warm, still-moist-but-fully-cooked interior. Delicious cinnamon flavor on the outside, natural donut dough flavor inside, and kicked up by a thin, cinnamon-maple sauce underneath and a whipped cream (they called it and vanilla anglaise) on the sides. Fantastic, and in an era when "artisan" donuts run $5 apiece even out of a fridge, getting six warm ones of higher quality for $12 was a steal. The burger was closer to good than great, but overall a good meal, good service, great space, and surprisingly good value (on all three items). I'd be interested to try them for dinner.

It was made very clear when the order was placed that I am intolerant/allergic to green peppers. Unfortunately, when I opened the meal at home, roughly HALF of it was green peppers. The meal was completely inedible for me and had to be thrown away. Mistakes happen, but what has been especially disappointing is how the restaurant handled it afterward. I called and spoke with two different people, explained exactly what had happened, and was promised both a call back and a refund. It has now been a full week. I have received no call, no refund, no apology, and no follow-up of any kind. When a customer specifically tells a restaurant about a food allergy or intolerance, it needs to be taken seriously. This wasn't a minor mistake where one stray piece of pepper ended up in the dish -- green peppers made up a substantial portion of the meal. I gave the restaurant an opportunity to address the problem privately before posting this review, but after a week of being ignored despite being promised a response, I feel this experience deserves to be shared. Very disappointing, particularly because my family chose this restaurant for their dinner and I expected much better handling of an allergy-related concern.
