Unbelievably slow and rude.. and apparently because I'm just a door dasher I'm a piece of garbage that's doesn't deserve service

Went there at 445 pm yesterday. Ordered a tuna sandwich on sourdough. Service was good but they were lacking staff or the staff was busy. Bathrooms very clean. Store clean. The sandwich was the worst ! Salty as hell and had an extremely strong odor of fish and not the normal smell,it had to have been old, believe me . It was disgusting. The lettuce was wilted and the tuna was nasty. I paid like 14 dollars for this single item . The bread was dry as hell . I use to get sandwiches from Panera and went there cause I was in the road working and never again ! Panera was once good but absolutely not anymore ! A tuna sandwich ? 14 dollars. ? Give me a break ! Never again ! I was at rest stop in Georgetown Trying to get a bite to eat and threw more than half the sandwich out the window ! Wrong !!! read more

Was stoked to be able to afford a Panera breakfast sandwich this morning, seeing as how they're priced so astronomically. Picked it up, got back home and unwrapped my sandwich to find the biggest asiago sandwich I've ever seen. The disappointing part was opening up the bread to see the saddest looking sausage and egg I've ever seen. Barely any cheese, barely any sauce. Can't wait to eat this dry, DRY sandwich I paid almost $10 for. Big bread + tiny toppings = big sad. Looks like something I picked out of the rubbish barrel. This isn't the first time they've fucked everything up either, I don't know why I've gone back. Messed up sandwiches, nasty food, cold soups, missing parts of orders, missing parts of recipes, etc. Won't be back again. Piss poor work done by apparently lazy, careless employees. I constantly ordering food from panera because try to watch my intake. And always ordered whole tuna sandwich. 1st they r inconsistent. Sometimes i got pickle sometimes i dont. And today is very fishy. I used to work for Panera i know how they are with quality. Idk whats w this store. Their bread is wicked stale. I bought bagel fron them omg! It's your average Panera but the place is clean, the food is good, and the staff is friendly. Would recommend.

I have been a long term Panera customer and I am disappointed in how they have become recently. Their prices have gone up and their quantity has been reduced. E.g. I asked for a fruit cup and I get one that is half full but I am charged for a full one. Their half sandwiches have reduced in size as well. I understand the margins are low in food industry but if they continue this trend they will lose customers quickly. read more

Generic Panera. I stopped by for breakfast on the long drive up to Maine. For three people, we ordered a bowl of the chicken noodle soup, a muffie, and oatmeal with strawberries and pecans. The chicken noodle soup was a bit too salty for my liking and they were definitely not generous with the ingredients. This is a problem I've seen across all locations. The muffie was good. The oatmeal was so bland. After I got past the initial few spoonfuls near the top of the oatmeal, I realized they hadn't actually mixed the cinnamon sugar throughout, so the rest of my oatmeal was flavorless. Meh. read more

Major language barrier at this location! My first time reviewing on yelp. I tried on three occasions to call in a $300 order to only get a person who can't understand me,then hang up on me when I ask for someone who can. My daughter also has had issues calling and the phone just rings and never gets answered. She also has had her food on numerous occasions prepared wrong because of language barrier. I decided to go in last Saturday Oct 21 to place the $300 order for next day pickup and I mentioned the issues to management to be told I would have less of a issue if I go to your Seabrook location. this is a really nice location. i came today for a quick sandwich while i sent some emails for work, and it was a really nice experience. the only place in town where the music isn't blaring. it's actually, soft background music. every time i try and work at a coffee shop the music is so loud i have to leave. i appreciated the soft music and quiet atmosphere even during a busy lunch. the order kiosk is a nice touch to skip the line. good came out hot and fresh. and an employee came out and wiped tables down for new customers to not approach a dirty table. thanks for a great lunch! read more

Just want to say whatever manager was on 2/4/2021 (female) was amazing!! We ordered online and by accidentally chose pick up, called and a young kid told us to cancel and reporder for delivery, they made both orders and door dash grabbed the pick up order. Called and the manager promptly got in contact with door dash and added some cookies and scones. She was an amazingly professional manager and want to give her a lot of praise and credit for how well and smooth everything went once she got on the phone! Thank you! read more

The staff is very friendly and kind but on a side note..I've had two experiences here which I would like to address. The bacon turkey bravo with pesto sauce was kinda gross I waited a while to get. It was just dissapointing when you wait and pay 10$ for a screwed up sandwich. Last year I ordered a macaroni and cheese and as I was eating I noticed a chewy piece. I then pulled a piece of glove out of my macaroni. I wont eat at this store again. read more

I ordered curbside pick up yesterday, arrived at the store at 8:45 a few minutes before my order was to be ready. The email I recieved indicated the order was going to be ready at 8:52AM. The email instructed me to hit the I Am Here button and a staff member will deliver my order. I entered the I am here button and recieved a response that my order would be delivered soon. This was at 8:55 AM. I waited, waited and waited. I watched a number of customers come and go. At 9:17, after logging in and hitting the I Am Here button, I decided to enter the store to figure out what had happened to my order. Ah, there it was in the rapid pick up area. I picked my order up, checked the contents of the bag which was my naked bagel (not wrapped in anything to protect it) a knife and cream cheese. I looked for a napkin and there wasn't one in the bag. I looked around the store to find a napkin to mo avail. I know I could have come into the store after I didn't recieve my order in a reasonable time. I am an immunosuppressed person and this is the reason I do curbside pickup. I am almost done...when i entered the store there were staff there however not a lot of customers. The staff is not great. Young boys using extremely profane language while just having normal conversations! "Jess" is the worst! One of the managers who is sullen, rude and if she were making my meal, I'd be afraid of her "doing something " to it! I don't know where to begin. Based on the critical reviews of their staff at the drive-in window, we go inside, generally order salads, and eat on the premises. Despite dictating our order to the cashier, she managed to get every item incorrect. We had to wait for the staff to start from scratch and try again. We have ordered a Cobb salad only to be told they are out of hard-boiled eggs. We have ordered the southwest chile lime ranch salad only to be told they are out of tortilla strips and salsa. On one occasion we were told that they were out of the appropriate dressing for every salad on the menu. The coup de grace occurred earlier this year when my partner found a four-inch long dead locust buried at the bottom of her salad. These locusts weren't found further north than New Jersey. How did one get inserted in a salad in Newburyport? How could the food preparer not notice this? read more

Ok so I stop every so often especially this time of year for the autumn soup but I'm not a regular customer. I usually have a good experience, pretty good food and customer service but today it was a different story. The woman at the drive thru window was obviously not happy to be there and a manager ( I can only assume ) was arguing with her right in front of me. When I realized the mistake at the pick up window, the employee and manager were so kind, made us another half with no change and threw in a cookie. Very disappointing experience. First of all there was no greeting from the cashier, a lack of enthusiasm with no smile nor thank you. First impressions go a long way in my book. So We ordered a Chipotle chicken wrap & one on a ciabatta. Usually our order is ready in less than 5 minutes. Not today! 20 minutes later we get our order & it is cold!! Here we go back to have it redone & upon approaching the grill station the girls just look at my husband like a deer in headlights. Finally someone came over & took care of the situation. Sad to say, but I don't think we'll be going back to that location. We love Panera but will definitely drive to a better location next time! read more

This is my first Panera Bread experience. Wow! what a healthy menu! (Unfortunate for my arse I picked a few unhealthy things). The food I got was good- a grilled cheese and brocolli cheddar soup with a PB cookie. YUM. The girl at the counter forgot to give us our cups for coffee and soda, which made it really confusing for the pick up counter girl and for us. I don't know how things work if I've never been there! Lots of folks just sitting around here like they live here though- using the wifi and whatnot- kind of annoying I would imagine. Well... If you've read my reviews you know that one-year reviews are rare... reserved for truly bad experiences. This Panera experience deserved a single star. To begin, our cashier ignored us. She seemed to be entering something into the register and if she had simply said "I'll be right with you" it would have been fine. Next, while we were in the middle of ordering she was chastised for not entering a phone order. In the background someone was complaining loudly about being at work... Our food - chicken noodle soup was tepid. Grandson' s ham sandwich was a strange deal... the bread was sliced neatly in half but the slices of ham and the cheese were uncut. When I asked for a knife and showed the counter person why I needed it, no apology was offered. Unfortunately, this type of service and quality seem to be Panera's new standard... very disappointing. read more

Although this particular franchise is practically brand new and the physical structure is basically clean, bright, and modern, it's not as warm and welcoming nor as efficient as other Panera's I've eaten at. Pros: The classic Panera menu, the soups (divine), the coffee (I love it), the pastries (oh so heavenly) and my favorite sandwich always, asiago roast beef. The salads and the berry smoothies are a stand out for me. Convenient - less than a mile from home. Cons: The staff is definitely hit and miss which means that the service and the food is also hit and miss, especially in the evenings. Some are polite and friendly, very efficient, and your order is exactly as it should be. Others are totally inept and rude, it may take multiple tries to get it right, if they even mange to do so. The last time we went there, when our order order was ready (take-out that we ordered there at the counter), two items had been left out and the gal insisted that in fact, we had not ordered or paid for them, even though our receipt clearly showed we had. When I wouldn't let her brush us off, she then made a big show of announcing in a loud voice that she was just going to "give" it to us rather than argue and refused to look at the receipt. Hello???!!! And the "manager" just shook his head and walked away after she told him that WE were mistaken without ever speaking to us or checking the receipts. She didn't give us anything we hadn't already paid for, and in fact, when we got home and set everything out, we discovered that she STILL shortchanged us but I was too tired to go back.. The paninis are often overcooked, so much so that the bread is very hard and barely edible. Honestly, the ones we get at the Black Duck at the Tannery are much better. I never get these anymore at Panera. Check the soup before you leave. They often only fill the bowl half full but charge you for the full thing! This has happened once in the store when we picked up take out but every time we have gotten soup at the drive through. If you complain, they will say that they filled it as much as they are supposed to (for a BOWL) which is NOT cheap, but yet at other times, and with other soups, the bowl is filled nearly to the top. Parking - Ugh. The lot is not well laid out and not nearly large enough for the size of the place. Equivocal: Drive through - at first I thought this was the absolute best feature. Then I got the food home. In 4 of 6 visits through the drive through, the order was mixed up, something important (and expensive) was not included, or sides were incorrect. No apologies were given, and while we were able to return and get missing items, hello, a discount or a coupon for the next visit would have been a nice gesture since we were inconvenienced by having to return to the store, especially when we had to return TWICE in one day for one colossal mishap. read more

I was really excited when a panera moved into NBPT. It's been a few years, and I almost wish this one hadn't come because it tricks you into thinking Panera is an option. I don't know what the issue is, but they never get the orders right. When I get home with a take out order, half the stuff is missing. Then I drive back to get the rest of the stuff. The people behind the counter seem frustrated that I came back. It's just The orders are so consistently wrong that it's like they do it on purpose. It's better to drive to seabrook because at least it's only one trip. Other Pamela's aren't this bad. read more
