Stop hoping for a fresh loaf of sourdough bread. All I see on the shelf is one loaf and it was already cut and bagged. Which made me think it was day old bread. I asked the cashier about it and she confirmed yes it was a day old bread. I asked her if she had any fresh bread she goes. Let me look and ask my manager. She goes to the back and just comes back and says no that's all we got. It's 9:30 in the morning and they literally have no bread on the shelves, except two loads of day old bread that's already cut and bagged. Came here on a Friday morning around 745. There was one other person in line, and it took over 10 minutes in the drive thru. I order two bagels both UNTOASTED. lol It took a long time for such an easy order. The food itself is fairly consistent no matter what Panera you go to, but the service is awful. The individual working was rude and clearly annoyed - I'm not sure why though. Very odd location. I will try and avoid in the future. I get sucked into this place at least once a year because my kids like the green tea but I always leave feeling like we completely overpaid! $30 for a 1/2 Cesar salad w/Mac n cheese, a small soup and and a green tea. $8+ per item is too much for what you get. My daughter calls it "overpriced hospital food", it should be half the cost. They throw in a piece of French bread, but the crust is beyond hard and crumbles if you try and break it to eat. I would much rather not get the rock hard bread (it doesn't get eaten anyway) lower the prices or have the portions match the cost. You could do so much better Panera. I stopped in one morning to grab some bagels for my office. It was shortly after 8am and there were no other customers in line or waiting for anything. I stood there for a minute before realizing you have to order on their tablets instead of with a person like the Panera that I usually go to. There were people working there but no one greeted me or guided me to the tablet. I ordered half a dozen bagels and 2 cream cheeses and followed the signs to where pick up was at. I sat on the bench waiting for my order for honestly about 20 minutes. During this long wait for something that should be prepared in a few minutes, I heard a female employee there yell at another employee. Then started cussing quite a bit all right in front of the pick up location. Once my order was ready a male employee just slide it across the counter and walked away. Never once did they say my name or your order is ready, or anything. I got up and read that my name was on the package and left. I am glad this location is not near my regular office because I would never go there. This is the worst Panera I have ever been to. read more

Panera is reliable and has good food. But, this location's customer service is hugely lacking. Everyone is too busy doing stuff to care for the customer. My checker was annoyed that I was taking away from her cleaning a machine so I could order. When I first came in, they had one checker. I used the self service, which annoys me in general, to get coffee. Then, they had no coffee other than flavored. Nobody seemed to be bothered by it. I eventually, just took the flavored. Ordered online for the office. Chips missing from order, no receipt in bag and the pizza was place on the bottom of the bag and was crushed by the other food order that stacked on top of it. Warning!Please read! This morning I discovered a charge from this location on my debit card. I do not live in that location, I live in Boulder. I did order through DoorDash on March 15th, but once again I live in Boulder. I called my bank and they have determined that it is fraud. They also informed me that the transaction came directly within this location, which determines that it was done through an employee. I did file a dispute charge and they will be investigating the situation. Now I have the fun part of trying to remember all the accounts I have linked to my card because I had to immediately close it down. Thank you! I hope the headache and $32 was all worth it. I've had 2 recent bad experiences here. A few weeks ago, I ordered dinner here and they were out of mac & cheese. Annoying but forgivable. But after my order this morning, I won't be returning to this Panera. We ordered 2 toasted bagels with cream cheese and 2 Madagascar Vanilla Creme cold brews. Problems with my order: 1) the bagels weren't toasted! 2) the cold brew wasn't over ice! 3) there was no cream in the coffee! 4) and no vanilla! 5)and it wasn't sweet! When we asked the employee about this, he said "there's half & half over there" while pointing at the service station. Keep in mind here's the description for the coffee directly from the Panera menu: "Our dark roast cold brew coffee with Madagascar Vanilla syrup and half and half served over ice." VANILLA. HALF AND HALF. ICE. None of which were actually in my coffee! This place needs to seriously learn their menu and also how to treat their customers. I would give it 0 stars if I could. This location is got to be the worst Panera I've ever been to. They're consistently out of coffee at 8:30 on a weekday morning and the employees seem miserable as if they were forced to work there. Do yourself a favor and drive up north to the one on on 144th. At least that one has drinks readily available and you don't have to ask for creamer since it's consistently out. Every shift manager as well as the franchise owner should be extremely ashamed of themselves for allowing a business to run like this. When you pay as much as you do to eat at this place, you should expect less attitude and more variety. Just my two cents. read more

There are many Panera Bread places all over the metro area, but this is probably my favorite one. I love the location! It has a drive-thru that is easy to navigate. There is a lot of parking. It does share parking with many other eateries, do be careful of the people NOT paying attention when they drive by or back-up. I think it is the cleanest one, I always see the staff wiping down the tables and clearing things off. There is a bit of a turn around, but the workers are friendly. I get genuine smiles, plus they are helpful too. I sometimes have to ask for help to the table and they always oblige. Bathrooms are kept clean too and they do a great job with GOOD tissue paper. One of my biggest pet peeves is 'John Wayne' tissue paper. If you are an eatery, do NOT be cheap! They do well on this and have decent rolls. The seating is done well, not too crowded. I do wish the seating to the left of the door as you walk in had more heat during the winter. The doors make it feel a tad drafty. I also love that you can get half or whole on the sandwiches. I love the creamy mac-n-cheese and their broccoli and cheese soup. My two favorite drinks are their Chai Latte and Mango smoothie. Prices are reasonable, though can get costly if you go in a big group. They also have a rewards program where you can earn treats or desserts. Which reminds me, they do okay in this regard but they could do better. I do love the cherry cheese danish but they run out of them and other desserts towards the end of the day every day. So if you want one, go earlier. Always remember to give them your number to have the transaction go on your rewards account. Otherwise, you have to put it in yourself. I am disappointed they do not have recycling. This is why I did not give them 5 stars. I would really like to see the chain eateries be more dedicated to reduce or recycle when it comes to waste. There are approximately 10-12 Panera Breads in Denver, if each of them had recycling bins what a difference it would make! This needs to become the new norm of all businesses. This place is a mess.. I work across 120th and have come here on my lunch break multiple times. Every time I pick up my food something is wrong in my order. Every. Single. Time. Missing side, not what I asked for, missing condiments etc. I gave them more chances because they usually make it right (which requires me to drive back). This time they literally got my order confused with someone else's in the drive through and I didn't have time for them to remake mine and now I can't eat tonight because I wasted my time here.
