I had a work meeting in Thornton and was looking for a quick meal, so I chose American-Italian food. Having not visited Olive Garden in a while, I thought I'd give it another try. The food was decent, though not as impressive as other Italian restaurants, but considering the price, I was satisfied. The service was friendly and courteous. The restaurant was clean and had a pleasant atmosphere, which somewhat made up for the average food quality. Had a good experience this time and honestly can't say we've ever had a bad one. Went thus weekend with my Wife and Son. Not a special occasion or anything just out doing Sunday things, getting ready for garden season. Pretty busy for the time we went ,noonish. No wait which is always nice. Ordered a couple of app, the shrimp with green and red peppers the name escapes me but my Son and I polished that off and as always the endless dipping sauces for the bottomless breadsticks which were nice and hot!. Wife and Son opted for the salad and I the tuscana soup? Our meals were the Rigatoni with meat sauce and a side of sausage, shrimp Alfredo and i had the Taste of Italy which is a combination of classic lasagna made with ricotta cheese , ( not a huge fan of ricotta) chicken parmesan and Alfredo which i added shrimp and chicken which is additional i think was under $5 for each additional. All in all we had a nice time our service was good left a nice tip. The only negative which I made a comment to the MOD was alot of the staff were coming out of the back of the house with these depressed looks on thier faces . But didn't let it ruin our day. We were sitting and talking loud enough to hear each other when another customer goes and tells the manager who publicly screams, curses, and gives us no reason to time to leave before threatening to call the cops. This is presumably because 2 people at our table were people of color, both the manager and the (person who reported) were white. Not one of the best Olive Garden's meals, but at 4pm on a Sunday, this place seemed to be the place to be with a long wait and various people sitting outside and inside. The breadsticks of course are always good, but the meal was not good. The tortellini was overcooked in a bland Alfredo sauce with very sketchy pieces of chicken floating around. That was $22. The onions and peppers were in quite small pieces (lots about 1/4 - 1/2 inch wide), making it difficult for finger-food and impossible to eat with a fork. A little too heavy and a bit greasy. My wife placed us on the waitlist for this location an hour prior . We can see that they are extremely busy, but we still get seated in the bar area. It took at least 10mins to get the bartender , that end up being our server to come and ask us what we wanted to drink. We ordered a few drinks and an app. They came out about 7 or 8 mins later. We finished our app. Then proceeded to wait another 15 minutes . My wife ended up going to the host station to ask to talk to a manager and told her that we were leaving because we still haven't got anybody to take our order .. Been to this location a couple of times. Your average Olive Garden experience. This location also got a face lift so the chairs and booths are new and comfortable to sit in. Plenty of options for vegan and vegetarian food. The staff is really friendly and did a few substitutions for me and my lunch came out quickly and tasting perfect. We had excellent service!! I brought my friend who had never been to Olive Garden, and she loved it! We had Sara as our waitress, and already right off the bat was so sweet. She heard that this was my friend's first time and then was even friendlier. Her service was amazing from the salads and breadsticks, and my soup! She was overall wonderful and made this experience so incredible. I get nervous going into restaurants at my age as we're seen as people who don't tip. That's not the case at all. Disappointed in our large catering order we got today. We placed an order for pasta stations for 120 people scheduled to be delivered at 5:30. The food was a half an hour late to our banquet, and we were missing an entire gluten free pan. Our celiac guest was only able to eat salad, and the driver didn't arrive back with the missing food until dinner was over. The driver herself was fine and was helpful, but a bunch of our guests had to help set up because we were literally rushing to stay on time with our event since the food was late. I've come to this location many times in the past couple of years and have been very satisfied with the service provided. Tonight on the other hand has not been wonderful, my partner and I checked in online for a party of two and sat in the waiting area for close to an hour and a half watching many other guests walk by. After the hour mark my husband walked up to the hostess and had asked them what our place in line was, one of the hosts then proceeded to tell us that we were already seated when very clearly we weren't. We sat and ordered an appetizer, and two dinners and waited another 45 minutes. After watching multiple parties revive their food we checked out and sat watching and waiting for our food to arrive. Our experience at the Olive Garden on 120th Ave in Thornton was not good. The waiter was excellent and very helpful; I felt bad for him and a little embarrassed for him the evening we were there. We had to send our glasses of wine back because they were filthy, lip marks, fingerprints, greasy, i don't they were washed. We had to ask for clean silverware because there was crust on the forks and knifes. We got our order, and the pasta was under cooked; sauce was cold on one order. The waiter was very apologetic. I do not think we will go back to Olive Garden. I'm wondering if they are going to close or they are going bankrupt. The Manager was nowhere to be found. I eat here occasionally and always get good food and good service. My favorite dish here is a soup, the zuppa toscana, which is Italian sausage, potatoes, a little cream, and some seasonings. I visited today and got excellent service from Torri: quick, attentive, but not obtrusive. Horrible experience. Would not recommend. I personally got rigatoni with meatballs and there were pieces of spaghetti in my plate. My girlfriend also got the ravioli and the cheese was gummy/chewy. The manager got her a new CYO spaghetti with meatballs and then proceeded to try and charge us for the more expensive item that was messed up. Where do I even begin! We arrived at 5:15pm. 1. Even for a party of 6 and an infant no reservations were allowed. 2. We put our party on the waitlist, & checked in. I man pushed in front of us and also had a party of 7 asked how long the wait would be and was seated immediately, but we were told we had to wait! 3. Our drink order of water, soda and lemonade took 20 minutes! 4. It took 1 hour to get our food. Our appetizer plates, soup bowls and salad plates were never picked up. 5. We had Bundtlets since it was our grand-daughters birthday, but our waiter was MIA during our whole meal, so we never were able to get any plates or forks to eat them and had to take them home to celebrate! 6. As far as the food went our son-in-laws ravioli dish was swimming in sauce. , on the other hand the lasagna and fettuccine dishes hardly had any sauce and were extremely dry. The salad also barely had any salad dressing and the bread sticks tasted stale. As you can tell our grand-daughter's $200.00 Birthday Celebration dinner was a huge disappointment!! Sounds unfair to give 1 star in general because of one person, I came to lunch with my family, they were visiting us from Mexico obviously they don't speak a fluent English, Brandon our waiter came and took our order for drinks but I noticed on his face when he realized that we were Spanish speakers a ewww face, minutes after, a wonderful and amazing waitress (Vanessa) came saying that she was going to be our waitress. Wondering why this guy was discriminatory with us, by the chance olive garden allows and approve this behavior? I'm so disappointed with Olive Garden and the waiter that without any explanation just left and decided not help us and he continued attending other tables with either people. Let's start with my heritage is part Italian and part Irish. I seem to gravitate towards my Italian roots though. In sharing this, many seem to believe that Olive Garden is the "McDonald's of Italian restaurants". I read this all the time in my Italian groups. Talk about an 'elitist' attitude. Perhaps it is a chain restaurant, but I still think their food is decent. They obviously don't have bad food because on any given weekend, the place is packed! I have been to this location many times over the years, it is close to where one of my brother's lives. The parking lot leaves a lot to be desired though in terms of room. It shares a lot with another restaurant. Also, the parking lot can get icy and very slippery when walking. Tread carefully! When you walk up, you enter through 2 sets of doors. There is seating outside and inside in the lobby area. You must wait to be seated. Also, on weekends, always make reservations! Especially if you have a party of four or more. My most recent visit was Monday evening, which was busier than I thought it would be. I made reservations so we didn't have to wait long. Our server was very efficient getting us waters and our drinks quickly. I enjoyed a nice hot chocolate with Biscotti. I decided to order 2 different Muscato's with dinner. My sister ordered some type of fruit drink and the kids got soda and water. My son wanted to try their seafood frittas, it is a new appetizer. I love the mushroom stuffed seafood. Almost everyone got soup and it was a tie between the Chicken & Gnocchi and the Zuppa Toscana. My son and I love Gnocchi, my sister and her son prefer the Toscana. My niece went with a salad. Then comes the main course. My sister decides on Seafood Alfredo (my old favorite). My son chooses Shrimp Carbonara and I choose Shrimp Scampi with Scallops added. We were so stuffed! My son gave me his Shrimp, he isn't a big fan of it. We ended up taking a lot of our dishes home. We decided to have dessert, it was his last night visiting. He wanted the Chocolate Brownie Lasagna...talk about very rich! It was so delic! I ended up doing the Dolcini set. I really love the White Chocolate with Strawberry (though I prefer Raspberry). The Chocolate is very rich and the new Berry one was an interesting texture. When they brought out my bill, the server told us to take our time and even gave extra 'chocolate mints'. My niece and I love the mints! I am sure the dishes & desserts are not as authentic as if you made them from scratch or back in Italy; but overall it was good food! Our server was very attentive and a great conversationalist. So for those who expect authentic Italian food, this may not be to your liking. For us average folks, we loved it! read more

I go to this location with a friend who lives nearby and always have a great time. We order a bottle of the moscato, which is so good. Also, you have to try the Shrimp Fritto Misto appetizer. I was here about a month and half ago and had lunch lasagna at $13.49 with a decent size lasagna. They changed their menu and lowered the price to $11.99 the lasagna had no meat and just a thin slice of cheese between noodle with a basic tomato sauce with no flavor. It was gross and tiny piece which looked like it would be on the kid menu. It was not a good experience and the waitress screwed up the order for another person I was eating lunch with. The waitress brought out the wrong dish and my friends Alfredo got cold waiting for the chicken and we were charged. I had to get up to get take out boxes and the waitress never came back. I never got our bill and paid at the machine they had at the table and had to ask for a receipt. Another waiter was upset with another table and he went into the kitchen cussing.
