Not very pleased with my last experience. Came in last Tuesday and they forgot to update the computer so I was charged for cookies that weren't even there. Did not enjoy my last visit to Panera at all. I ordered a meal at the same time as my mother and I did not receive my meal until 15 mins afterward. The workers "forgot" my order and I did not appreciate it at all. There's no reason for my food to have taken that long when I ordered less food than my mother did. If I am spending my hard earned money at an establishment I should feel satisfied when I leave. This experience put a bad taste in my mouth. I did not even enjoy my Mac & cheese and bread after this. There was also no apology given to forgetting my order. I had to go up to the employees and ask where my to go order is. They were not even busy on this day. Highly unacceptable. read more

My daughter went online and placed an order well over an hour before it needed to be ready. I get there and try to pick it up and two or three of the ladies cannot find my daughters order. I guess it didn't help that they really weren't good with speaking English. So I stepped outside for a few minutes. I came back in and I started asking for the order again and nobody could figure it out until one girl came out who actually spoke English fluently and found my order. read more

Panera Bread has always been wonderful but I haven't been here for a long time. Now that I came back with my daughter they took my order and the waitress or the person who was giving me my food did not give her chips on the side as we ordered. She was in no rush to get from point A to point B, and had a bit of an attitude. Somebody asked her if she could clean off one of the tables, which is obviously her job and what she gets paid for, and she went back as low as she can and got a rag to wash the table with the same attitude. Food is good, but when you have great service it makes the food taste even better. You don't get great service here.' read more

.60 cents for a 2 oz scoop of jelly?, an overcharge on my receipt for a bagel?, missing condiments, a weekly power outage in half the store on wednesdays(I was told), 2 choices of bagels left for the morning with none on the way any time soon on a weekday morning at 930am and a jumble of customer service issues. Last week ordered bagels and Cream cheese for curbside pick up checked in via the app and proceeded to wait in my truck for the next 20 minutes with only one other car in the parking lot I had to call the store to ask where my order is finally somebody brought me out my bagels I go online and complain to the store I get a phone call from the manager saying oh we're so sorry please come back and give it another try stupid me ,I ordered again today online for pick up at 7:15 AM for 12 bagels not cut just plain bagels checked in again waited this time there's no cars in the parking lot not a single car and I'm waiting at 10 minutes of waiting I decide to walk in and I asked to speak to a manager and I ask her you know I've been sitting out here waiting why has nobody brought my order out you don't have any customers in the store no excuse other than I'm sorry . do not go here. my bagels were hard as a rock and their curbside service sucks . read more

I have been to many Panera Bread restaurants and this one is by far the worse. I ordered a turkey and avocado blt and when I got home it was just a plane turkey sandwich with lettuce and onions. The Panera bread in Palmdale does not even compare to the one in Lancaster ca. The one in Palmdale is always out of stuff and they don't even know until you order pay and are waiting . They come and let you know while you are waiting for your order to go. They came and asked me if there was anything else I would like instead. I picked something else because I didn't have time to go anywhere else. I don't think I will return to the one in Palmdale!!!!!! Lancaster seems to be more organized,helpful and seem to have there menu items in stock. I will be going to Lancaster Panera even if it is out of my way. Honestly, 9/10 I've had a bad experience here. Not with the food, but always with the service! They have a bunch of workers running around like they don't know what they're doing. Service is just incredibly slow and inconsiderate. There are 4 registers in the front, and regardless if there's a long line or not, you only have one register opened. I usually place a food order through the phone every now and then. A few months ago, I walk in on a Saturday morning and the line is to the door. After waiting almost 25 minutes, I finally got the counter and told them I was here to pick up the order I made the day before. They checked the system, my name wasn't there. They checked the back and front-my order is nowhere to be found. The younger lady manager with the short hair comes up to me and says, "they couldn't find my order." I asked them what they can do and they told me nothing that I had to reorder and the order wouldn't be ready until the next day. 25 minutes of my time just standing in line and I was left empty handed. No apologies were given and no compensation for their mistake. Another bad experience I had happened a month ago. Again the line was to the door, after waiting 15 minutes in line, the lady cashier with short hair that was suppose to help me seemed like she was new and confused. I told her my name and order. She looked it up in the system and again my order wasn't in the system. I recognized my order laying in the back table and told her that was probably my order. Without even bothering to check, she said, "no, that's not it." She looked in the back where they store the orders and she told me that she couldn't find my order that it was never put in. I asked her again to check the order on the table and she still insisted it wasn't mine. She asked the manager for help, after they both checked on the register for my name again. They asked me for the time I called so I showed them my phone history of the time I called. Yet, they still couldn't find my name. Again, I told them I can see my order on the table. They finally checked, and there was my order sitting there the whole time. One more bad experience I wanted to mention recently happened this Sunday. I again ordered food through the phone the night before and I even repeated my order three times to the guy taking my order. When I picked up my food, it was already bagged and ready to go. By the time I got home, it was completely wrong. I didn't even bother calling to complain. But on Monday, a guy worker from Panera called my phone 3 times and left a voicemail asking me when I was going to pick up my food. I called back and told them that I already picked it up the day before and not only that they totally gave me the wrong food! They gave the phone to the manager and she just apologized. No compensation for their mistake-again. I had other bad experiences similar to this, but this review would be even longer than it already is. Only reason why I keep coming back is because this is the only Panera in Palmdale. But for now, I'm probably just going to end up taking a drive to other Panera bread locations and just hope for the best. read more

Went to get my reward which was a kids meal and was told they had run out of noodles for the Buttered Noodle Kids meal dish. Strange, but how can a chain restaurant run out of any sort of food?!! Again, the kids meal was not free as I've "earned" by accumulating points from previously paid meals. Seems a bit strange to me to be able to run out of any sort of food that is on their menu. I had a breakfast there with my daughter and several things occurred that were unacceptable . They sell egg sandwiches and apparently do not offer ketchup as a condiment. This was disappointing but not a deal breaker. When my daughter ordered a soufflé and it was given to her ice cold from the refrigerator, that was bad. When she took it back to the young lady at the counter and was told that they couldn't take it back once they had served it, not even to be heated up, that was worse. When this same young woman told my daughter to heat it up herself in a microwave they had there, that was when it was unacceptable ! I contacted the corporate office to complain and received a form letter of apology saying that the restaurant was owned by a franchisee and that they would contact me. I never received anything else from them. A business WITHOUT CONCERN FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS DOES NOT DESERVE MY PATRONAGE! I AM NEVER GOING TO PANERA AGAIN! read more

I love their food so yummy! There service can be a hit or miss I've had awesome service and not so good service. For the most part their friendly. Only once did they mess up my order which it's not the end of the world it happens. I come here very often I do know which employees can be not so friendly. I went to have dinner with my kids. We order our food and sat down an ate it. My friend came in 25minutes later. I went to stand in line with her because my kids wanted cookies. Well when it was our turn to order (our cashier was a manager) an employee pull her to the side and pointed to the top door of the fridge, my friend and I look and there was a big black rat. We decide not to order anymore.The rat went inside a tube and stay in there and then came back out. One employee try to hit with a broom, but it went back in. I think that manager should have been on top of it since she saw it. I went to tell my kids let's go, but I went back to talk to the manager and ask for my refund. She said let me call my upper manager. She came back and told me I could only have half back because we ate it. I told her I never saw the rat until after. First she said we are remodeling, um that place is almost new. Then she said we have been trying to catch it for a while. Eeewwwww that is gross never going back. Told to wait in line with everyone else to pay even though they have a take out register so 15 minutes later (only 1 cashier to who is clearly new) I walk out. Turns out they made mistakes and clearly short the amount of soups compared to dine in. Incredibly disappointing... Stick with the one in Lancaster. read more

My favorite thing at Panera is their salads! The BBQ chicken, Asian chicken, and the Cobb are all excellent! This in one of the few restaurants I go to where I don't have to ask for the dressing on the side. They use the perfect amount. Also, the nutritional information on their website is very easy to understand, which makes this a great place to go if you're watching what you eat. I also LOVE the baguette they serve with the salad. The bagels are only OK, but I grew up eating bagels from Jewish delis, so they don't taste like real bagels. Some of the other bakery items are very good, especially the Cobblestone muffin and the Cinnamon Crunch scone. Very easy place to get a quick bite and bring the kids. My only complaint is that I often see individuals taking an entire booth to spend the day drinking coffee and using the free WiFi. They absolutely have the right to do that, but I still find it annoying. read more

Today I placed an order online. I ordered 18 bagels. When I showed up to pick them up, I was informed that they did not have my bagels. They made me drive 17 miles for nothing. Alright, I know that Panera Bread is a big monstrous chain restaurant, but they do have good bread, sandwiches, and soups. The one in Palmdale is even better since it is one of the best places for lunch around. There isn't really much to say about it, it is a Panera Bread, and it's practically the same as any you would find across the country. This one features a wide and open seating area with windows looking out at 10th Street West. It's usually busy at lunch time, but there isn't a lot of trouble finding a table for 10 people. read more

Amazing service! Manager is great! I was waiting in line when another customer decided to make a scene about prices and portions, as if they had control over this, manager politely explained they do not have control over prices, and even offered to give a free beverage. I just appreciated how the manager handled herself even when this customer was being ridiculous. I love my Panera bread and people need to stop whining. Sorry I myself work for retail and we are humans too not servants. Get a clue complainers. read more
