I've been to Panera a variety of times. I normally visit Panera for 1-on-1 meetings. When I do visit Panera I never go expecting to get large portions or get full unless I decide to order a lot. This location has a fairly decent amount of seating. Parking can sometimes be an issue depending on the time of day. The staff member that helped me was patient. She gave me suggestions because I couldn't really decide what I wanted. I had the chipotle chicken avocado melt with broccoli cheddar soup and chips. I've never had this before and it was pretty good, although a portion of my sandwich was burnt. As many times as I've eaten here, that's actually never happened before. Customer service here was great! Mariah took great care of us and helped us to locate exactly what I and my friend wanted to eat. She helped us build the exact bagel I needed once she informed me that you guys had Everything Bagels! Food: (4/5) -Turkey on Flatbread with Cranberry. This was pretty pricey. One flatbread is considered half a sandwich which is about $6. Two flatbread is a full sandwich jumped up to $9. It was okay. I really liked the flatbread though. It was crispy and flavorful. I like sweets in my sandwich which is why I ordered this. Didn't do anything spectacular for a sandwich though. -Cup of Potato Soup: I initially ordered Clam Chowder but they ran out around 11AM. very Disappointed but I guess this can happen... Met a friend for breakfast here one day. I never realized before that they even served breakfast! I'd always thought it was a lunch place - like sandwiches and soups. That's it. Apparently, I was wrong. They've got breakfast items, pastries, bagels, soups and sandwiches. They even have a good kids menu. Best part? They have a really good vanilla latte here. I might come back just for that. When you walk in, there's this large space for people to mill around while deciding what they want. Once you place your order and pay, you're given a number card to place at whichever available table you choose. When your order is ready, they bring it out to you. If you have a pastry or a coffee, those are given at the counter right where you order. There's a coffee counter where you pick your roast and serve yourself. I ended up getting a sausage, egg and cheese on brioche, a cheese Danish and a vanilla latte. That cheese Danish was delish! The sausage, egg and cheese on brioche? So filling and so good! Best of all was the vanilla latte - made just how I like it. I need to remind myself to come here more often. It's quiet enough for good conversations while still private because the music playing through their speakers is just loud enough to prevent others from eavesdropping. Bathrooms are clean. They have hooks for purses/bags that aren't on the door but rather further along on the stall wall making it difficult for anyone trying to grab a bag from over the door. The women's restroom has a changing table next to the sink so mamas with babies, know that it is a baby/diaper-clad-child-friendly establishment. The dining area is very open and has plenty of seating. It's actually divided into two sections. One is open and trails from the ordering/front section. The other is a bit more private and feels sort of sectioned off. You can easily meet friends here or have a business lunch. I actually remember my first time here was for a meeting with my wedding planner many years ago. They've managed to keep it clean and not rundown-looking all these years. There's a small patio section outside and plenty of shared parking as it's part of a complex and not a stand-alone. I used to come here a lot more, but due to life changes it has been a while. Now that I am back, the changes are so noticeable. It seems that they may be short on staff, because the dining area is not nearly as clean and there is no one actively cleaning up the previously used tables, the beverage stand and service counter are messy. It's alright. I come here regularly, and was pretty happy with them until I went to the Panera in Hattiesburg, MS, and saw what a Panera SHOULD be like. Things they can work on: The slicer has been off for a while now. I've often gotten a bagel that is sliced 90/10 with a sliver for one half. The staff acts as if this were normal. I don't complain. First world problem. The hole in the middle of the bagels are always WAY too big. Sometimes my bagel resembles an O-Ring more than a bagel. It still tastes okay, but I always wonder if I'm getting my money's worth. Things I like: The speed of service is wonderful. I love Panera because I can put in an order and pick it up 10 mins later and it's ready. The food IS good, but it could be a little better. UPDATE: (June 28, 2017) So a week ago, I come here for breakfast and order a bagel sliced and toasted. The toaster is broken. Yesterday, I go there for lunch. So I'm honestly befuddles as to the lack of car or attention into making the simplest order. The bread on my sandwich was cut so uneven, that the bottom of the bread immediately got soggy!!! Understand that the business is paying minimum wage, however what happens when you let students run your business? Loud music, dirty restaurant, professionalism is completely lacking. I usually have a great experience at this Panera; the food is always fresh and the service is always great. However, today I was not as pleased. I ordered my food for dining in and I sat down and waited for my food. I sat closest to the preparation area and saw a meal that looked like mine after about 5 minutes. I didn't get up because every time I come here, somewhere brings me my food when I dine in. After 10 minutes passed, I still hadn't received my meal and I noticed the same plate was sitting on the counter. I finally got up and asked the lady preparing the food "was that the food that corresponded to my number" and she said yes, someone was supposed to bring it to me. I don't know why this Panera bread is so much worse than all of the other locations that I've been to. They stopped carrying salmon and shrimp. Every time I go here, they screw up my order somehow. They are extremely stingy with the amount of noodles in their chicken noodle soup... I had like 2 noodles in my whole bowl. The staff themselves are extremely lazy, and they do not correctly type in your order. I don't know how many times I've been told that my order can't be made, because they have "ran out" of specific items like pasta.... I have not been to a Panera for over five years. This one is close by our house, so we stopped in for lunch. I found the ordering experience a little odd as I had a difficult time understanding the employee taking the order. This was not an accent problem. Rather, the employee seemed to mumble when speaking and did not seem to understand the questions we had about the menu. We ordered a sandwich and soup. Both were excellent. However, it took a while for our order to arrive. Luckily, we were not in a hurry. Surely, we will consider going in again. Panera Bread usually delivers with its rich soups, crisp paninis and delectable pick 2 options; this location proves otherwise. The chipotle chicken panini is a panini only by name. My hair was more toasted from using this crap hair wax I got from target. I really don't know what good there was to this sandwich, it looked thrown together and popped into a microwave. I could have done the same with my niece's easy bake oven and two double A batteries. The creamy tomato soup was delicious though. This was probably the only reason why I gave this location two stars, one for each crouton in my soup. The restaurant itself is your standard Panera Bread setup, nice and spacious. I have come here a couple of times and I am a fan. This location offers good customer service and quick service. I only get my order to go but do like to go in to order. They always remember to ask me if I am a Panera Rewards member which I do like. This location is my morning stop and I usually get a breakfast sandwich with coffee and it never disappoints.
