A friend and I were looking for some casual Asian eats a little later than usual. I wasn't as familiar with what's available in Pearland, but Yelp steered us right to this location. I was expecting a Vietnamese spot given the name, but I was surprised to see that they served classic Chinese American dishes as well as some interesting specialty dishes utilizing rabbit and venison as the protein. The Vietnamese side of the menu boasts an array of options including pho, bun, com, banh mi, and thin vermicelli. I finally settled on a Chinese American style dish called Eight Treasure Chicken which was a mix of beef, chicken, and shrimp along with bamboo, mushrooms, and a generic brown sauce. Everything was cooked well, and I enjoyed the fact they used dark meat chicken. The Vietnamese egg rolls we split were pretty tasty, though the wrapper was not Vietnamese style. Overall a satisfying meal. Plus you know it's legit when you hear the staff bickering at each other in Vietnamese.

Hanging out in Pearland and the hunger pangs hit. It was a little later in the evening but I had a specific craving for pho or something similar. Got on Yelp and found this spot on the east side of Pearland. I've been in Pearland for quite some time when this side of town was the only really developed side. As far back as I can remember, I feel like this establishment has been here for just as long. It is located in a large shopping strip with plenty of parking. Inside was nice and clean. Our server was young and provided great customer service. Pearland as a whole can be hit or miss in that regard, so it was refreshing to see some good service here. Coming to a Vietnamese restaurant, I had one thing on my mind, pho! Come to find out, the menu here was pretty extensive with more than just Viet cuisine. We also noticed they had some wild game dishes like venison carpaccio and rabbit. You don't see those often and it's something that draws people here from what I have read. We started off with Vietnamese eggrolls which is a must order anytime I go to similar type restaurants. They came out piping hot and came with the typical garnishes. I thought they were really good. Nice and crispy and filled with delicious filling. I did a build your own pho with brisket and meat ball. It came with all the usual sides of bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapeno, lime and basil. I tried the broth first without adding everything and it was a delicious, light broth. The brisket inside wasn't in there super long, but it was a tad bit tough. The meatballs were perfect and plentiful. The dish itself was a good size and filled me up. I tried a bite of my dining companions Eight Treasure Chicken that was a melody of proteins and veggies in a tasty sauce. It was really tasty and something I would order in the future. Overall, it was a good dining experience. I would say it's one of Pearland's hidden gems because it's easy to miss and not talked about alot. I'll be back though!

This is my favorite restaurant in Pearland! Honestly, everything on the menu is delicious! I try to get something different besides my usual pho and they truly kill it every time I try something new! The service here is AMAZING! They are always so attentive and if you need a refill on your drink or just asking how is food, honestly that's what keeps me coming back is the service. Also they re molded recently so the ambiance is really nice

It's a small mom and pop restaurant in the middle of an older strip center in the old part of pearland. Although older, the place was clean. The server was quick and efficient. We came for pho, however this restaurant also has Chinese dishes (more than viet dishes in my opinion). The food came out hot and fresh. The portion size for the pho was great, however, the amount of sprouts and herbs was a bit small. The spring rolls and summer rolls were fresh. I liked their fish sauce but I still added chili oil. I will definitely come back for the pho and will try some Chinese food in the future.

This is a nice little restaurant, open and airy. The servers are attentive and very polite. The food is decent (we had pho) and while it was good, it was not the best we've had. The broth is a light one as compared to the more hearty broths we've recently had.

Glass found in my Thanh delight!

The restaurant is next door to my nail salon- after getting my nails done on Sunday- I decided to order to go- I even paid for my nail tech who is also Vietnamese - as the owners of Thanh. My nail tech stated that previously she would not recommend, but she assumed they were under new management- so she suggested I try it. Well-there was GLASS in my food. I called them right away- they were very nice, apologized and said I can get a new dish- but not a refund, although I had only taken a few bites out of my meal. Again, staff was very nice.

Since we ordered takeout, they even offered us a place to sit while we waited, which I appreciated. Here's what we ordered: * House Lo Mein - $14.99 * Stir-Fry Flat Noodles w/ Beef - $13.99 * Sweet & Sour Pork - $15.99 * Crab Cheese Puffs - $5.59 Total came out to about $54.74, which is pretty reasonable for the portion sizes and variety. The food overall was flavorful and fresh. The noodles were cooked well and had a nice balance of sauce without being too heavy. The sweet & sour pork had that classic crispy texture with a bold sauce. The crab cheese puffs were decent crispy on the outside and creamy inside but I do wish they had a little more crab flavor to really elevate them. One small detail I loved: the to-go bags. They were sturdy, well-designed, and matched the restaurant's aesthetic definitely gives that extra polished touch. Overall: Great service, solid food, and good value. Perfect for a casual takeout spot when you want something quick but still quality.

Look no further for authenticity, flavor, and complexity in Chinese cooking near the med center!…read more Though we opted for more "simple" dishes during this experience, you can judge a place by if they can do their simple dishes well. The mapo tofu is one of the best we've had outside of Bellaire with spicy, savory, numbing, and warmth that you expect from a good mapo tofu. Crispy popcorn chicken is a classic that's spicy, lightly fried, and crisp. It has an authenticity that other places around can't replicate and makes you keep craving more. The portions are also appropriate for their price. Service is incredibly quick, and you can order as you go and receive your dish within 10-15 minutes, regardless of how busy they are. As for the ambiance, it's loud, it's hectic, and it's simple... maybe a stretch, but makes me feel like I'm eating at a mom and pop shop in the heart of China. This place is definitely a go to if I'm convincing a friend of Houston's great food scene! Rating: 4.5/5

On my most recent visit we ordered mapo tofu with pork intestines off the specials menu - a hybrid of two of my favorite Sichuan-style dishes. The blend of bouncy, savory morsels amidst tender, saucy tofu was at once revolutionary and so obvious; why hadn't I yet seen this at any other restaurant? And sure, innards may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it's important for you to know that none of my past orders from the 50+ item menu have ever failed me, whether enjoyed in the restaurant or at home. Maybe you'd prefer the aromatic, classic, perfectly balanced three-cup chicken? Or the sweet-skinned duck, glazed so delicately that specks of sugar crystal threaten to jump off onto the plate as you pick up a juicy slice with your chopsticks? And if you're vegetarian, might you consider the punchy garlic eggplant or the wok-kissed string beans? I could go on. Do yourself a favor and come see for yourself, though I'd recommend parallel parking on the neighborhood streets behind the restaurant rather than the rocky parking lot, to save you some trouble. Bring friends and chow down family style - you'll need help covering as much of the menu as you can, but you'll definitely have to come back to try everything.

For appetizer, I ordered the Taiwanese Popcorn Chicken. It was crispy. The flavors of the Thai basils were almost nonexistent, and the flavor was not really there, compare to other places I had. The bowl of the Taiwanese Beef Noodle Soup was massive. Both my palms fit on top of the bowl! It came with green onions and bok choy on top.
