I live close to this location and usually go in a couple of times a week for a Sip Club coffee. I also sometimes dine in and do some work there, as it's nice to get out of the house with an otherwise WFH job. The manager of the store is FANTASTIC and is always willing to hear feedback and looking at how she can make the store better. Staff are friendly and personable and work hard to get orders out as quickly as possible while also making you feel welcomed. I wish that there were more low seats with outlets (only 3 + the couch/lounge area and a high top), but that's okay! The back section of the restaurant also tends to be slightly different in temp than the rest, usually colder, so I tend to bring a jacket with me if I'm going to work from there - even (especially) in the summer. The only negative is that they are super slow unfortunately because they clearly don't have enough workers. It looks like is the manager and one worker running the whole place. I don't think I've ever had a good meal here. Everything is too salty, portions are small and the price is not. They seem to mess up the order at least half the time. The dining room area always feels small and dirty. I only eat here when my group wants to. I used to be in the Sip club but they raised the price from $4 to $15. read more

This is Panera Bread, so will get good healthy food at a reasonable price. First the food. My choice was the Green Goddess Chicken salad and new Tika Indian Soup (see pics). The Green Goddess Chicken salad was really good. The Tika Indian Soup was not my favorite (will stick to creamy tomato soup next time). My buddy had the Turkey BLT which was huge and he really liked it. He got whole baguette to go as well. FYI: We hiked at nearby Umstead State Park, which has great well maintained trails. I don't understand why Panera is so widespread. It is very bland. On a holiday monday, the outside patio was very full and the inside was filled with signs indicating they are desperate for employees. I used their wobbly little computer to make an order. It has said support for card-chips will be coming for like 2 years. They got rid of the delightful Steak & Arugula sandwich, so I got a big and bad Mexican-ish salad with beans and chicken. The restaurant is a bit tight, especially if you sit at the tables in the middle of each dining area. And, of course, the noise level gets really elevated when it's crowded. The app is very convenient and easy to use. Nice feature with the ability to order with a table number so not only is there no standing in line at either the cash register or the kiosks but you get to sit comfortably and order at your leisure. And, it offers Apple Pay for those of you with an iPhone/iPad. Maybe Android Pay as well, but I don't know for sure. They brought back the delicious Lentil Quinoa Chicken Bowl! We don't ever really eat Panera but we decided to today. One of the best perks is that they have WiFi. I ordered the chipotle avocado sandwich + an apple (my husband pointed out that the apple was rotten, so I traded it for chips), my son had the Mac & Cheese +yogurt and my husband had a cinnamon raisin bagel. The pricing was nice. We ended up getting a parking space near the door which was perfect because it was raining. I can see the parking being a hassle on busier days. The overall taste of the food was fair. I felt the chipotle sandwich was average. My son ate all of his Mac and cheese which is a positive sign right? The employees were also really nice. While the fare is consistent at most Panera. I was shocked that I was able to stand in line, wallet in hand, for 4 minutes (actual time). While this may not seem like a long time I was flanked by two managers chatting at a table 4 staff members behind the counter and the young lady at the register who looked me in my eyes to an almost uncomfortable degree. I understand that people get but I would have always thought that customers/transactions were the most important "thing" in a retail space. The team at this Panera location seem to feel differently. Terrible Panera. Parking is a shi*tshow. Dirty, ripped up benches, very few outlets. If you order the lemonade with your sip club you still have to wait to get someone to pour it for you. Ordered a simple pastry this afternoon. Said it was ready, but that was a lie; 10 min later had to go hunt someone down to just hand me what I'd paid for ($4 now by the way for a simple pastry). I got to my table and it was atrocious; dried out and stale. When I went back to return it, the manager apparently couldn't figure out how to refund through the app though no other store has ever had a problem cancelling an order when they were out of an item, or there was a problem with the order, and refunding directly. Came here before the rush lunch hour (around 11:50am) to grab a quick lunch -- and was surprised! Parking was a *little* tight, but we grabbed a spot on the side of the building. Upon entering, it wasn't terribly busy inside -- there were open registers, which is a real shocker right before it hits noon! The employees were all SUPER friendly -- my cashier was very nice about handling my two different orders on separate checks, and the lady handling pick-up orders was super chipper! Got both orders in 3 minutes -- about 1min for the first order (cafe sandwich). My friend and I ate outside at one of the tables on the large patio. It was perfect weather and a lot of space, BUT the bugs were annoying the living daylights out of me. There were a couple flies and a LOT of these flea looking bugs that kept attempting to attack my sandwich/soup. Yuck! It was quiet out there, but the random people taking phone calls at tables were a little weird -- since they weren't eating anything from Panera or anywhere else in the area. While we were eating, there was a swarm of little, brown birdies that landed and were hungrily begging everyone in the area to toss them a crumb or two. They were very cute. I was tempted to give in, but I thought it was best not to tempt them -- else they would swarm our table and eventually eat US (kidding, kidding). My Lemon Chicken Orzo soup was awesome -- it was full of generous slices (not artificial, square chunks) of chicken and tender veggies. It was kind of like a lemony version of Italian wedding soup, but with no meat and thinker orzo. The lemon "wheel" floating inside made me giggle. My only suggestion would be for it to be a little bit hotter -- mine was warm, but on the verge of being cool. The Tuna Salad sandwich was perfect. Veggies were crisp and the tuna mixture was moist and flavorful. My fish craving was satisfied. The bread was good, but it DESPERATELY needed to be toasted to balance out the moisture from the tuna salad. Lovely atmosphere. Definitely will return to sit out on the patio again! read more

At least half of the time I order at Panera, the order is prepared but ends up not being what I ordered. It usually includes additional ingredients to which I am allergic. I know I should do a better job of checking my order before I leave. But, when you order, pay the correct amount for the order, hear the cook say the correct contents of the order, it is easy to just grab the bag and head to work. I've ordered ahead, ordered at the kiosk, and have also ordered delivery from this location and the food is always prepared correct. I'm a fan of their souls, Greek salad, and frontega chicken salad. The pick two is a great option for those who can't make a decision. If it's a peek time in the shopping center sometimes parking or getting in and out may be difficult. This location does not have a drive through. I've never had an issue with finding seating but sometimes tables are left messy and employees are not always able to stay on top of wiping/cleaning tables. This is a nice Panera. There's lots of room to meet a study buddy and study. I like the way the seating is set up. It doesn't feel like you're in a big place and you can be out of the way with your text books. The food is the same as all of the other Paneras: microwaved/reheated. I just get the broccoli cheese soup which is delicious. I've tried their paninis but they are always bad and an employee told me that is because they just microwave something that is already made. I've used this Panera for personal use and business use. Both are super fab but I do love to go in for personal reasons- to get my grub on and chill. This locale is pretty busy but if you can do early in the morning, grab a bagel and find yourself a nook to get some work done, it is the ideal situation. The staff is always very accommodating, getting the order right, coming around to pre-bus your table when you are finished, asking if you need anything... I mean, this place is self-serve and they exceed expectations by serving you if needed. For caterings, you cannot go wrong. I have used their services for boxed lunches for offices and have found it to be easy peasy. Ok, so I'm reviewing both eating at the restaurant and their via Panera catering. Eating there is pretty good...though I feel like it's a smaller location than others and doesn't have as much seating available and the parking can be a challenge because of the shopping center it's in. However, the food is good, they're usually pretty speedy at getting it to you, and the staff is friendly. I LOVE them for catering. I use them at work sometimes when we need a change of pace from the usual caterers we use. Sean, the catering coordinator, is fantastic. He's very accommodating and knows his clients...so much so that he remembers you when he talks to you, which is a nice touch. I'm pretty flexible and forgiving when it comes to catering deliveries...I know I'm NOT the only one out there that day who needed a delivery, so when the delivery is a few minutes late I'm not going to throw a fit...I pad my delivery time so it gives me an extra 15 minutes. Sean, though, always calls before he's late to tell you he might be a few minutes late, which is nice to know. So, if you want a Panera to eat at, this one is pretty good. But if you need catering for something, this Panera is by far the best! read more
