Great service and the sandwiches are well made. Definitely swing by, especially if you're in a hurry. They're quick

Hello all! Here I am again with another raving Jimmy John's review. I know I said I was going to stay away from the place for a while, but ultimately, I really like Jimmy John's. I believe it's just a matter of which one you go to that determines the decision on coming back or not. There are two locations near me, one is on Page Rd and the other Brier Creek. Because I've had discrepancies with one location I switched and decided to go back to Briar Creek. there is never a real problem with the food, or the location/ambience of the establishment. However, for this particular review, it just simply boils down to listening. Anytime order is placed, just to be sure, it is always best to read the order back. In this instance, I didn't request it because he seemed like he was on the same page when he was ringing up my order, as I was reading it from a previous order because I have the Jimmy John's app. after my sub was prepared, the young lady that served it began reading the receipt/order of my food. she just so happened to mention "no mayo" and I immediately stated that I did not ask for no mayo on my sandwich. The workers were apologetic and I that was it for me. I grabbed my food and I left. Now when I got home, that's a whole other thing. Now remember, I stated that I was reading the condiments that I wanted on my sub directly from a previous order because I have the app installed on my phone. So not only was the mayo not on the sandwich, there were also tomatoes which I asked not to be placed on my sandwich. Any other circumstances I would've checked before I left. But, I trust or am supposed to trust that you got my order correctly so I shouldn't have to check. or I would've gone back to the store to have them remake it but because I am on only a hour lunch and had to run a previous errand before picking up my lunch, I was unable to do so. Going back to the establishment would it just been a waste of gas, so I just took the tomatoes off. But my point to all this, is that if I was allergic to tomatoes, because the tomato has already touched the sandwich, it would be a waste of a meal all because someone ringing up the order wasn't listening as they should, and verifying what they heard. The main part of this review is to hopefully urge management to ensure that their employees are paying attention to the orders that are being placed, be sure to confirm if the order is placed in person and also pay attention, even when the order is placed online to make sure you don't miss anything. Hope someone takes the time to review either a customer or member of management. These reviews are ultimately not to downgrade someone's work or talk junk about the establishment is only to better in the future for people to return, enjoy the food and ensure that their order is being prepared as they see fit.

Turkey breast, provolone & avo. (Didn't realize it's an avocado spread not avocado slices. )

Why do people like Jimmy John's?? I'm so confused. The bread was cold and dense. I could barely taste the avocado spread. I can make a better sandwich at home, without a doubt. No thanks!

    #4 Turkey Tom

Ordered a #4 Turkey sub but substituted oil & vinegar for the mayo and added banana peppers. What I got was about 20 cents with of turkey, quarter pound of lettuce and if there was any dressing on it I couldn't tell. No tomatoes(Standard on this sandwich) or peppers. Maybe instead of trying to upsell me cookies and pickles the cashier could have listened to my order. This was the most disappointing sandwich I've ever gotten.

    Plastic bag in sandwich

There was no one there when I came in and the guy that helped me was nice but you can't see them making your sandwich. And I of course Found part of a plastic bag in my sandwich. Won't be coming back to jimmy johns for a very long time, if ever. Might as well have gone to subway.

This is horrible. What a waste of money.

We go the pink velvet king doughnut and pink velvet supreme croissant my opinion they are both amazing but I like the doughnut better lighter and more cream filling. Blueberry and cream cheese croissant amazing!! Mini croissant (better warmed) but nice crunch and flaky. Strawberry croissant: this in the spring would be the best thing on the board. Pink velvet matcha (iced drink): not my cup of tea but my husband loved it and said well worth it! Over all loved it all 10 out of 10!

Each one was 11 inches, so they are about a small to medium size. First was the Rustica with prosciutto, mozzarella, mushrooms, artichoke hearts, and roasted garlic spread on an olive oil base. I omitted the black olives. Pretty good flavor. I think if anything, some roasted peppers or sun dried tomatoes would have added a little sweetness and pop of color. My other selection was the Bronx Bomber. Spicy Italian sausage, prosciutto, mozzarella and gorgonzola with marinara and fresh oregano. Really good flavor and I was worried that the gorg would overwhelm the rest of the pizza. Thankfully, that did not happen. The ingredients were well proportioned. Not the best pizza I've ever had, but solid quality. And good job on leaving the olives off! And they have a nice bar with a number of draft beer options too.

"Good chicken option in Brier Creek"…read more Came here on a Sunday just after noon. The place was really quiet, and a bit dark-- the outside sign said they opened at 1pm, but they were clearly open at just after 12:00pm. One orders at the counter, and they bring you the food. I ordered the "tender bowl" with the mildest sauce and with salad as the base rather than rice. My dining partner had a chicken wrap and fries. I was a little sad that, when I asked if I could have "half-rice and half salad", the cashier said no... didn't seem like an unreasonable ask, but whatever. Food came out in maybe 10 minutes. The bowl was a lot of food-- I was glad I didn't have a fully rice one, or else I wouldn't have been able to finish it. The food came with a small sauce, but it had dairy, so I asked for an alternative, and they provided one with mayo & hot-sauce that was quite tasty. Quality was good. The tenders tasted fresh, and the batter wasn't overwhelming as is often the case. The arugula was good. The salad base was fine. And again, a lot of food. The chicken wrap my dining partner has was also quite good, and the fries came with a very spicy seasoning that tasted yummy. Establishment was clean-- I used the restroom too and it was fine. Price was quite fair for the quantity and quality of food we got. Overall, a good option for chicken, and a not-overwhelming lunch at a decent price, in the Brier Creek area.

Oh boy, we regretted our decision the entire time we were eating. I ordered Grilled Beef Bowl with Steamed Seasonal Veggies and Roasted Corn with spicy level Hot, and my husband ordered Chicken Wrap with Yuca Fries. There's an ice cream freezer with a sign that says if you spend more than $15, you get a free ice cream. Vanilla ice cream we got tasted the best out of everything we ordered. Let me start with my food: Rock hard, bone dry beef I've ever tasted in my life. I thought I was eating days-old beef jerky. Beef had no flavor whatsoever. I seriously thought if the kitchen gave me days old beef for some reason. "Steamed Seasonal Veggies" tasted like heated up frozen veggies from grocery store. Roasted Corn was fine. "Hot" sauce drizzled on top of my dish was too tangy and sour, which overwhelmed the experience altogether. I left almost entire dish, but took it home thinking 1) I'm going to pick out and throw all the beef pieces because they are nasty and 2) I'm going to add real vegetables and other seasoning to revive this dish. I'm not wasting my almost $16 dish into the trash can. Now going to Chicken Wrap. I had no appetite to even take a bite of this food after eating my dish. Per my husband, wrap has no flavor and he had to drench the entire wrap with White Dip to taste anything. Very underwhelming. There were so little Yuca Fries that came with Chicken Wrap. Service was fine. I didn't expect too much. Ambiance was also fine. I absolutely loved the chicken mural they have on the wall. But neither could fix my ruined dinner from mediocre beef. It was such an underwhelming experience, which I hate to document on Yelp for a small business. However, I'm quite unhappy from getting "full" from meh food.

The food, drinks, and service was all great! There is a fun bar area (opens at 3pm) and in addition, a mid-sized dining area. We went between lunch and dinner, so it was pretty slow which was nice & relaxing. We started with waters and opted for a glass of red wine. Their wine list is decent, and cocktails begin at 3pm. We ordered a few menu items: Buffalo Wings, Caprese Plate with Proscuitto, Side Salad, Piccante Pizza, Pepporoni Pizza, and the Butter & Cheese Noodles (we love a good pasta with Pecorino Romano). The Wings were crispy and delicious, spicy but not too spicy. The Caprese Plate was also great, super fresh and flavorful all around. The salad was fresh and enough to share. Both of the pizzas were yummy, we shared the Piccante Pizza and I got the Pepperoni Pizza to go for my daughter. Lastly, the noodles. These were not bad, but I would not get them again as they were a little bland. That being said, they were on the kid's menu so no big deal, we really just wanted to try them out. Let me begin by reminding my loyal followers--who know I have the subtlety of a brick when…read morereviewing food--that I grew up in Italy. I don't expect perfection in America. I do, however, expect witnesses to at least resemble the crime scene. The menu lured me in with a Margherita Classico: San Marzano tomato sauce, bufala mozzarella, and basil. I misunderstood. I assumed they meant San Marzano tomatoes, not a tomato sauce salted so aggressively it could preserve Pompeii for another 2,000 years. Americans do love putting sauce on everything, and I can live with that. But a proper Margherita doesn't need to swim. Let the tomatoes do the talking. The basil was fresh and lovely. The "bufala mozzarella," however, appeared to have called in sick and sent its bargain-bin cousin from the discount dairy aisle. If that was buffalo mozzarella, then I'm the Pope. The biggest heartbreak was the dough. It actually looked promising, but instead of light, airy, crisp, and kissed by a wood-fired oven, it had the personality of a yoga mat. Authentic pizza dough should make you smile before you even notice the toppings. Here's the baffling part: this isn't ancient family knowledge guarded by Italian grandmothers on mountaintops. The entire recipe is free. It's on YouTube. Thousands of Neapolitan pizzaioli have practically filmed a master's degree for anyone willing to spend ten minutes watching. The staff was genuinely friendly, the restaurant was clean, and I honestly believe they're trying to do something special. That's what makes this disappointing instead of merely bad. When you advertise authenticity, people expect authenticity--not a pizza that needed a passport just to identify itself. If anyone knows a truly authentic Italian pizza place in Raleigh, please point me there next time. My partner says I should stop trying to emotionally process mozzarella.
