Dirty dirty dirty, did I say dirty? It's dirty. They didn't clean tables, floor a mess, bathroom awful!

I just spent 11 bucks on a sandwich that wasn't even big enough to fill up a mouse. Definitely not going back there again!

This location is our meeting place early Friday Mornings. The coffee is freshly brewed and they have added ice coffee. A drink and a nice bagel sandwich is enough food. The calories are about right and they post them. People come and get large orders. If you are iPhone friendly you can preorder your meal. The store is clean and the post the health inspection with pride always 98/100. That score is hard to get. Parking is easy as it is a shopping center fronted by Blanco and 1604. It is mobility friendly. The main reason for this review is the happy and friendly General Manager who went way out of her way to help me with a sugar reaction. They have outside tree covered seating weather permitting. And yes the bathrooms are clean and the booths are comfortable. read more

. There were two of us and we ordered 3 entrees. The waitress brought 2 entrees to our table. When I mentioned that one entree was missing, her response was an eye roll. The bread arrived without any butter. My Ceasar salad arrived without dressing. Doesn't the service staff get any training? In a well managed restaurant the waiter would check that the order is put together correctly before serving it. But, not at this restaurant. Not criticizing the waiter because obviously, the manager is at fault. read more

This is a review on this location, not the chain as a whole. That said, the food here is usually good but they seem to mess up orders on a regular basis. Also, for the past three months they seem to be unable to keep their espresso machine in working order. Seriously, 2/3 times we go there and my wife orders an espresso drink they tell us the machine isn't working. Fix this already! read more

Inspired to write a review after my mishap this morning was corrected with Great customer service. Let me explain. On my way to work, I stopped in to order coffee and breakfast. When I arrived at work, my sandwich order was wrong. This was the second time it happened in less than a week. This time i was not gonna let it go. I was prepared to berate the worker if need be but realized the mistake was made 10 hrs earlier and the person who made the mistake was already gone for the day. When I explained what happened, I was immediately offered a refund and further more the person offered a little something extra for my trouble. He even showed empathy. That lady's and gentleman is how you handle a customer service problem. Now for the review of the food. It is a little pricier than the Whataburger or McDonalds breakfast stop but in my opinion, better options. From pastries and bagels to breakfast sandwhiches there is something for everyone. Love the bacon egg and cheese on brioche. Option to have egg over easy or scrambled. Open for lunch and dinner with soup and sandwiches. To me this is a step up from fast food but certainly not fine dining. As always I say check out the menu before you go, if there is something that catches your eye, give em a try. read more

Good location on Blanco and 1604 access rd. The store itself is kinda old but will be gettin renovated within the next few yrs. the staff is super friendly and the restaurant is always clean. Food comes out in a timely manner rt to your table. There are many ways to order while in store: cashier, kiosk, and the Panera app. On the app you can hv your food ready for pick up or served to your table. They even deliver to near by. It's a minimum of $5 of food plus a $3 delivery fee (which doesn't go to the driver). You have to tip the deliver person separate. They are currently offering 50% off orders if you make your first order online/on the app. Everything is made fresh daily, then given away to local charities at night. Bakers come in at 10p to get started on next days food. There are absolutely no preservatives and artificial ingredients. They even have a binder in the front that shows exactly what's in every product and if you are health conscious. Oh and they have free WiFi and unlimited coffee, teas, and soda!! :) read more

Our book club meets here once a month and we enjoy it. Food is not exceptional but pretty solid. Pasta's a bit bland but the frozen mocha is pretty good. It's a good spot to hang out and talk to friends. The manager is really sweet; service is excellent. read more

Picked up a bagel box for the office. It was great and the people who work here are so friendly, helpful, and patient.

Can't go wrong with Panera! Fast and friendly service! My go-to is the steel cut oatmeal with pecans and strawberries, yum!

This location at 1604 and Blanco is probably one of the worst Panera's. They never have breakfast items available, I mean how do you "run out" of quiches and blueberry bagels at 9am?? You pride yourself on being a bakery, bake some more! The staff is a hit or a miss too. A few of them are nice but most look and act like they have the worst job in the world and it reflects in their customer service or lack there of. read more

What a horrible experience and not up to standards of what I'd expect from a Panera. I stood waiting to order for several minutes while I watched two employees conduct inventory in the bakery section. They both looked up at me then continued their inventory. A simple "I'll be right with you" would have sufficed. I went to the restroom and came back to order and then no one was even at the registers or nearby. Thank goodness for the app because I was able to order through the "At Your Table" option. The overall appearance of this restaurant is just poor upkeep. It was not busy at all (3:30pm on a Saturday) with only 4 other tables occupied while I was there yet all the lemonades & teas were empty except for one, ice on the soda machine was overflowing on the bottom catch area, the restroom hadn't been tended to, dirty tables, dirty floors and giant piles of dirty dishes stacked by the trash can. The final straw was watching an employee (wearing a button down plaid shirt not a Panera shirt so I can't tell if she was a manager or not) go get a drink, realize the ice is overflowing in the bottom and landing in the ground then just shift it around so she can fit her cup under there then walk away and sit down for what I can assume is her break. She sat down next to the over flowing dishes and trash so I wonder if she noticed while she enjoyed her soda she had to have seen as well you know there's no tea or lemonade available. P.S. I told someone about the trash and bathroom before I received my food and got an "oh ok thanks." I'm leaving 25 minutes later and no one has cleaned either, or any table for that matter. read more

The staff at this particular Panera is awesome! The hazelnut coffee is amazing.

We've eaten here many times, and it never fails to please. The menu just keeps getting better, thanks to innovations from corporate, I'm sure, but the service at this location is what keeps us coming back. They accommodate add-on requests and changes, and they remember us from time to time. Everything is fresh and tastes like it was prepared moments ago. Fast service, clean operation and friendly people, all at reasonable prices. And I can't get enough of the Strawberry Poppyseed Chicken salad or the new flatbreads! read more

Two things: 1. Got the Chipolte Chicken Avocado Sandwich. Well, if there was chipolte in there, I couldn't detect it. It was just ok. Nothing to go there for as a special threat. 2. Order taker - talk about lack of enthusiasm - cold as a zombie. No: can I help you, thank you, enjoy your meal. In fact, out right rude. Fat chance I drop a buck or two in the tip jar. I ordered a chipotle chicken avocado panini and French onion soup. The sandwich hardly had any chipotle dressing on it along with none of the cheese being melted. It was as if they didn't even put it through the panini press and the soup was cold as well. I expected better quality for what I paid. Huge disappointment. Where else can I get an amazing lunch at such a reasonable price? A Steak Asiago Panini with a divine kale Caesar salad (kale mind you! I never knew the veggie could be so sexy!) all for less than $10. The staff at this location are just darling and I have never eaten anything here that I didn't like. I had never been to Panera Bread ...so when my friend suggested we grab a bite there for lunch ... I was in. I wanted to compare it to The Corner Bakery which I always love to go to for the unusual tea selections... and which I have failed to review. The attention I received when ordering was exemplary. I inquired about the Low Fat Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup. A sample was retrieved from the kitchen and given to me to taste before I ordered. It was delicious and I got the pick two... A cup of the soup I had tasted ...and a half of a roasted turkey and avocado sandwich ( 255 calories for 1/2). They had hibiscus tea in the serve yourself fountain area and ... I iced it up ...added a little lemon and ..... where's the honey bear? Honey Bear was empty ... as I turned scowling ... the manager placed a new honey bear in front of me. I was pleased and thanked him. We had a window seat and enjoyed watching passer's-by. It wasn't really crowded and it didn't take very long for them to call out our order. The soup was hot and delicious. The sandwich was good and fresh ingredients were used ... nothing extraordinary ... the bread was soft and tasty. The service and food combined were a solid 4 star. This location is terrible for their customer service. We have repeatedly missed items from our to-go orders and received not even an apology. The manager is a rude, inconsiderate and disrespectful man who doesn't seem to think there's anything wrong with making their customers drive back 20 minutes for a missing item (purchased fruit cups, kids meal drinks and yogurts, salad dressings, etc. ) awful. read more

The chicken orzo soup was quite cold, like out of the frig cold. I took it to the counter and asked if I could get a warm soup. I was told they 'do not take food back' and was told to use the microwave in the seating area.'. Horrible customer service and not a very clean restaurant. I will not return. If I wanted to warm a can of soup, I would do so at home. read more

Worst Panera location I've been to and I've visited several in different states. We visited at approximately 2pm; post lunch rush today (Tuesday). The iced tea dispensers were empty and while I was tipping the dispenser to get the last of it, an associate came by and glanced at me, but never even addressed the situation. I've always encountered extremely friendly Panera associates but the person delivering our food had a grim look on her face and not one greeted us (even when taking our order). My husband was given the wrong meal. I'm not sure if Panera recently changed policies as we don't have one where we live, but the usual roll and cookie were not part of our meal. That actually would've been okay with us as we always pick up extra bread to take home and share with the Panera-less folks back home, but the lack of service and disarray of the establishment turned us off. read more

My visit at this location was terrible. I ordered a chipotle chicken avocado melt that literally was a hard piece of bread, one clump of avocado, one clump of chicken that looked like it came from a can, with a baby piece of cheese and red peppers. They couldn't even take the time to break up the chicken and avocado and evenly divide it on the bread like you would a normal sandwich. I wish I took a picture of how terrible and gross it looked. Then I ordered a "hot from the oven" cookie that was cold. When I asked for a warm one, she pointed to the microwave behind me to warm it up. I have never been so disappointed in Panera food as I have received from this location on more then one occasion. We will never be back. read more

Gave us the wrong soup - when we drove back the 2 miles to the restaurant, the manager originally didn't want to give us a refund, but finally conceded that one was warranted, and literally tossed the money and change to us across the counter - real classy. read more

I've only eaten at this location once but used to eat at Panera all the time in Austin. They have great sandwiches and salads. Love their chicken caesar salad! It is delicious! Great place for lunch! Their cookies and breads are delicious too! read more
