Nothing great or terrible it is just an average Panera. Food was decent and place was mostly clean, there were a few dirty tables but someone was actively cleaning them off. My biggest issue with Panera in general is that it is overly expensive for what it is. read more

Upon arrival at this establishment, I could tell that they were taking measures to protect against the coronavirus. Firstly, there was a doorbell outside and the door was locked, so I knew they meant business. The manager/baker/chef/dishwasher/cashier appeared in the doorway and took our order, and then proceeded to passive aggressively comment on how we should have ordered online even though we pulled off the road when we saw the restaurant. The man assured us that he sprayed EVERYTHING down with disinfectants and washed his hands 37 times this far. He then asked us what car we were driving and said it would be brought out. 15 minutes later a younger guy summoned us from the doorway to come grab our food. Definitely a five star experience. read more

It took awhile before someone took our order even though there wasn't a line. Place is dirty, tables not washed off, trash on floor. The preparation area seems crowded and disorganized. Manager was walking around asking customers if all was okay. He should be monitoring the prep area and making sure tables and floors are clean. The drink station was messy and low on lids. Food was mediocre at best. Won't go there again. read more

This is one of the most disappointing, revolting, and unpleasant Panera's I have ever been to. I have been to this location multiple times and it seems every time they find a new way to try and make their business fail wether it's the poor service from an uncaring staff , the management staff that's completely oblivious to the problems and throw a fake smile and expect you to be satisfied when you bring the problems to their attention, and the food whose quality leaves everything to be desired. This is just the beginning of their problems as when I asked about the recycling the employee frankly told me that they don't actually recycle this is appalling as a person who cares deeply about the community and would hope that the companies who are located here would actually do the same. I am sorry to say that I will not be returning here until these blaring problems are fixed. read more

Really good place, clean compared to other Paneras. Really friendly staff that works there too! Food came out fast.

I absolutely LOVE panera. Always good service , good food. However everytime I seem to go to the Warrenton panera it's the opposite. The cashiers always seem bitchy and don't care to serve the customer in a nice way. They speak to you with attitude. My sandwich always looks like they just threw it together and on the plate and it's falling apart. My tomatoes were clearly not fresh. When you speak to management he doesn't seem to give a crap. Definitely will continue using the Gainesville location. They're so mucb better. read more

I'm new here. Not my fist Panera experience but probably one of the best. The line was almost out the door( not uncommon here) the employees went out of their way to get the line moving as quick as possible. The little nibbles they provided during the wait were fantastic. I don't know if this is a good idea because I wasn't as hungry when I got to the front of the line. read more

Usually a huge panera fan. I've been to numerous ones in WI, TX, TN, IL, CA...the Warrenton VA location does not deserve to be called a Panera. I have yet to receive timely or friendly service. I have gotten cold soup and stale bread and never complained, which apparently was the wrong choice because my visit earlier today resulted in my order incorrect TWICE as well as bad lettuce in my salad & foul croutons. So now I'm stuck with half a lunch and a soup I'm allergic to. (One of the mistakes I noticed & asked to be fixed.) I try to not complain about companies because everyone has their off days, but Panera of Warrenton, you need to shape up. Additionally, I will be contacting cooperate about this appalling representation of a usually great place. read more

Not a huge fan of this Panera. The staff is pretty friendly but it is run by a bunch of kids who prepare your food like you have all the time in the world. Just got a broth bowl from their and very clearly said I wanted the beans instead if chicken. Much to my annoyanceI get home and see that it was made with chicken. I am a vegetarian so this ruined my whole meal. Maybe I would have been partially forgiving if it had been a busy time but was almost close and I was the only person waiting for food. It was just simple ignorance on the part of the young kid making the food while eating a cookie, gross. read more

Consistently good food and friendly service. The place is large enough to seat all customers, even during busy periods and it doesn't get so noisy that you can't hear. There's a pleasant exterior seating area as well. read more

Maybe it's the New Yorker in me but I can't stand the question, " Do you want that sliced and toasted?" If it's fresh, don't toast it and how else will I get the butter or cream cheese on it if you don't cut it? The staff is nice but when I order, every time, they get something wrong and I have to go back up, cutting in front of everyone. The last three times I have come to this Panera, I have stood at the register and waited for someone to come over and wait on me. Each time there is someone standing near the tea and lemonade who sees me and does not make a move to come over and take my order or get someone who can. Two of those times a manager has walked by and not done anything to assist. I have had to ask a person to take my order. Last night was the worst because there were three people in line being waited on by one person while three employees socialized with their friends. Including the manager. This place seems to be run by a bunch of apathetic teenagers. I much prefer the Gainesville and Manassas Paneras to this one, and often drive to Gainesville instead when I can. read more

This Panera is very similar to all Paneras...decent food,price,etc. One exception is the wait staff which appears to be entirely staffed by high school/middleschool kids. Sometimes their skills in meeting the public are lacking. At ten bucks a pop, I didn't realize that Panera had become a teen hangout. read more

Ordered online an hour in advance, not a problem. Got there and waited for 10 min past the time my order should have been ready. No one asked or seem concerned about me standing in front of the pick up for 15mins. I finally asked the person who appeared to be the manager about my order. I thankfully had a copy of my order that was sent to my email because it appeared they never received it. I was not upset about that, because it was not the people at the store fault. The manager did not talk to me again for another 30 mins. When she finally did, she stated my order did not come through and it would just be a little longer. I waited for another 20 mins before it was completed. I was never offered any thing to drink for waiting a total of 50 mins past my ready time. Nor did the manager or the other employee offer to carry my $200 dollar order to my car. The customer services was terrible. If the manager acted the way she did I can understand why the rest of the store behaved the same way, as she is to set the standard. Will never go back. read more

I was at Panera for awhile tonight doing homework and I was feeling a little groggy. I then :decided to buy a cup of coffee. I got my coffee just before it was time to change it out and it wasn't the freshest or the hottest. I lamented to the young lady (Heather) that I was a bit too early but I decided to finish it because my mother didn't raise a quitter. At about 5 minutes till 9:00pm I am getting up with my cup to get a refill and the young lady sees me and asks me what time it is and I tell her and she let's me know that she is about to bring out the fresh coffee and that I can wait for that. Gladly I obliged. This may not seem like something big but it meant a lot to me that she would be considerate. I have had a pretty long past week and it's the little things that keep me coming back here. This place is awesome and I always enjoy frequenting this particular Panera. read more

Got there about five minutes before closing and ordered some items to go. While I was waiting for my food one of the young men who was preparing it loudly said "I don't know why we don't just take the hours off the door-it's not like anyone pays attention." Since I am in foodservice I understand that it can be irritating for customers to come in right at closing time; however, once finished he slammed my food onto the counter in an extremely rude fashion that pushed me to write this. Not only did I feel unwelcome as a customer, I felt disappointed as well: normally service is good at this location. I've been a fairly regular customer for a while but I do not want to be treated like this again. read more

Never ever have I paid $70 for lunch until my husband and I ate here! We didn't get anything spectacular. We got the Oysters Rockefeller and the pepperoni pizza to split. We each got a mojito; I got the regular and my husband got the dragon fruit vodka one. They were both nothing special and the pizza was average. That was it. Another typical poor service at the Warrenton Panera. I had to wait for 20 minutes for my food to be prepared and then had to request my side be added to my plate. I found it had to believe that the staff ignored my presence at the pick up counter the entire time without asking what I was waiting for. And after all that I was appalled that they didn't have the courtesy to offer one of their 99 cent pastries, that they are always quick to offer when you order as a sorry. I will not make the mistake of returning to the Warrenton Panera again. read more
