The food came out pretty quickly too. I got the 6oz sirloin with a side of mac & cheese and a starter salad. The salad was very fresh and their ranch is very nice. The sirloin was just 'ok.' It was definitely not a higher grade of meat, but the temperature was spot on for my liking, which was medium rare plus. The mac & cheese was incredible! Probably some of the best mac & cheese I've had at a restaurant in recent memory. Overall, not a bad visit. This particular restaurant has progressively declined in quality over the last few years. i was disappointed the last two visits, enough to choose to go elsewhere. We dined there this evening for a birthday. They were not busy and our appetizers and out quickly. Two of us ordered Flo's filet and I ordered the ribeye. One filet was ordered med rare ( it was very rare). The other filet was ordered med (it was way overcooked and tough). The ribeye had decent flavor but was almost raw and low quality. My wife returned her filet, which she never has done before. They offered a new one, but it took 30 minutes to bring it out. We took it home in a box because everyone was finished well in advance. We were nice to the server, who was good, except I felt he should have offered to comp one of the meals. I have had great experiences eating there in the past, but two times in a row, and a $185.00 mediocre meal is enough for me decide to dine elsewhere. Very disappointed because I was a fan. read more

Even though we only live a half hour away, it was our first time at this restaurant. We were greeted warmly and promptly seated. Our server, Will, did a great job. He was knowledgeable, gracious, informative, attentive, but never pushy. We had the Texas Tonions appetizer, which we both enjoyed. We are light eaters. Kathleen had the side salad of strawberries and toasted pecans with a variety of lettuce, grapes and feta. It was enough for a main course. The presentation was lovely and the flavor mix and preparation on a par with a Michelin star restaurant. I had the half pound burger, medium rare. It is a challenge for a chef to actually prepare a burger to medium rare without over cooking it. Mine was perfect. The big surprise that took this burger way out of the ordinary was that the meat patty was hot, but the accompanying lettuce, tomato, pickle, etc. were ice cold. With about 80 years of eating and loving burgers, this one stands apart from the others, Five Guys, eat your hearts out. Isis and her team run a great place. Today is my day Sangria with 2 lobster tails and broccoli and fries. A perfect end to a sufferable day. I get to watch Nicole having a fun interaction with some other customers. While working in the area I decided to have dinner at this restaurant because of the good steaks they have. Nicole took my order of a house salad, Flo's 6 oz steak and broccoli. I ordered the steak medium rare and you could just about cut it with a fork. The broccoli was also cooked and seasoned well. The side salad was filled with fresh bite size vegetables. We've always loved coming to LongHorn and have never had an issue before--until tonight, and it was a big one. It was my best friend Mandee's last night visiting, and we chose LongHorn because it's always been a reliable go-to. Unfortunately, this time the experience was completely ruined by unacceptable behavior from the manager, Emeleo. Mandee ordered her steak medium, and it came out blue rare three times. The first plate was so raw the waitress gasped when she saw it. Mistakes happen--that wasn't the real issue. The problem was when the manager came out and immediately got defensive and rude. Mandee had been incredibly sweet and patient, even apologizing for the trouble when she shouldn't have had to. Instead of helping or showing any concern, he was combative and dismissive--like we were the ones causing a problem. I had to step in and say something because his attitude was completely out of line. As regulars, we were shocked at how poorly this was handled. A Thursday night and nobody wants to cook. Hey, carry out. Great idea but.. WHAT A CRAPPY MEAL!! I think the usual cooks must be on vacation!! They probably took the runner and the shift manager with them. It's a sad turn of events when one of your favorite restaurants gives you food where a quarter of it should have been trashed. The salad and bread were good. Another bad sign. The baked sweet potatoes were flat out burnt. One had some weird crater like holes. The ribs are usually very tender and "fall off the bone" good. Tonight they were very dry, burnt on the ends of the bones and the edges of the meat were crispy. This crispy bit had to be cut off before eating. I really, really wish I had taken pictures. I was just so p___ed off that it didn't even occur to me. The pepper steak for the salad had so much pepper that it was almost inedible. It was like someone added the pepper and someone else walked by and thought it hadn't been seasoned yet and added more. Let's hope that the quality improves next time, if there is a next time! I requested the crispy Brussels sprouts and I was very happy. Simple does as simple does. Enjoyable, nutritious, and filling. Not so filling, I also had the strawberry shortcake, which was a disappointment, the "cake" was definitely not shortcake but a cake of some sort.the sauce and fresh strawberries satiated me so I won't complain too loudly. Saturday night dinner. Service was ok, food was served pretty quick. Our table had burgers and small steak. My friend enjoyed his steak, mac and cheese, and mashed potatoes. Our burgers were cooked to ordered but it was missing some seasoning. The French fries were fresh but it was too small of a portion as if They took fries and spread it on the plate to make the plate look fuller. Overall decent, nothing special. LongHorn is one of the few chains that I consistently enjoy, and over the years, I've eaten at the Warrenton location at least a handful of times. This visit, however, was not one of my better experiences. Granted, it's not their fault that there was a crowd on a Thursday night, and there was a half hour wait. And we understand that all the empty tables are due to staffing issues, but personally, I'd rather wait for service sitting comfortably at a table, rather than crammed into an uncomfortable waiting area with other patrons. Our server was very kind, though there were a couple of times when we needed her and it took a while for her to come by. The bar service was quite slow - I ordered a second drink about half way through dinner, and we were all quite done by the time it arrived. We were also a bit annoyed that the entrees came out almost immediately after the soups and salad, leaving us to choose whether to give up on our soup or let our entree get cold while we finished. I know this isn't fine dining, but when everything on the menu comes with soup or salad, you'd think that basic pacing would be second nature. As for the food, the ribs were phenomenal, and both of the steaks were cooked perfectly. The new Brussels sprouts were fantastic! The brown bread and French onion soup were great, as always. My only complaint is that my ribeye had so much black pepper on it, that I could only eat about half of it before I just couldn't take anymore. It's been a while since I've been to LongHorn, and I forgot that this is normal, and that I have to ask them not to ruin my steak with pepper. I'll probably be back, but I feel like they could do better. My wife got a gift card to Longhorn Steakhouse for her birthday so we went there for dinner last night and I unfortunately got the 16 oz Prime Rib for $25.99. For some reason it was awkwardly cut into a triangle shape (like someone that didn't know how to cut meat cut it), meaning the fat side was real thick and the meat side was real thin...that means more fat than meat. Very bland with no 'seasoned outer crust as advertised on their website. Also there was no way this Prime Rib was 16 oz. But I have a rule to never send back food to be redone, I don't trust people. So I ate what I could of the atrocity and let our server know it wasn't even close to what was advertised, that it was awkwardly cut and was just overall BAD. THIS IS WHY I LOATHE CHAIN RESTAURANTS AND AM AMAZED AT THE CROWDS THEY DRAW EVERY NIGHT! My wife got the chicken tenders which were frozen pre-made tenders right out of a freezer, bag and into the deep fryer. They tasted like basic frozen chicken tenders you get from any other chain restaurant. Why can't restaurants make fresh foods like simple tenders? Same thing for the Firecracker Chicken Wraps, from the freezer to the deep fryer, very disappointing. The complimentary fresh bread was also very good. The prices for wine and beer during the 4-7pm happy hour timeframe are extremely good. Five dollar beers and four dollar wine. Can't beat that. As things would have it, there were technical difficulties and our online order had not been received by their location. This manager is spot on! He made things right and took care of us. I've lived less than a mile from longhorn for 19 years. Last night was my second visit ever. Walked in. Greeted politely, immediately seated, immediate drink and apps order by a very personable waitress. We got the stuffed mushrooms and a cup of shrimp and lobster chowder, with a house salad. Salad was fresh. Mushrooms were absolutely delicious. A lot of great flavor. I kept coming back. Chowder was a 3 star. It wasn't bad but the 3 other places I've had it, was better. Entrees: salmon and baked potato. That's where we put on the brakes. The salmon was ok on the Ends but in the middle it was less than cooked thru. I ate both ends to the middle and left a chunk on the plate. As small as it was, how did it not get cooked thru? Oh well. I would come back probably for salad and mushrooms but that's about it. Oh, and the service slowed way down after our Entrees. We sat for quite a while waiting for the check. Pet peeve of mine. When I'm done, I'm ready to go. Don't wait 10 min after I push my plate away to bring the check then even more time to complete transaction. read more
