Nicole always does a customer service for me. Probably for all but I appreciate it. All my many to go orders for myself & co-workers add up. She gets the orders correct. Today is my day Sangria with 2 lobster tails and broccoli and fries. A perfect end to a sufferable day. I get to watch Nicole having a fun interaction with some other customers. Happy gal doing a great job making her clients happy‍ I do the same. We work hard and I live this place for food #1 and then atmosphere at the bar is great for a single. Cheers to us all hard workers

    6oz. Flo's Filet with broccoli

While working in the area I decided to have dinner at this restaurant because of the good steaks they have. Nicole took my order of a house salad, Flo's 6 oz steak and broccoli. I ordered the steak medium rare and you could just about cut it with a fork. The broccoli was also cooked and seasoned well. The side salad was filled with fresh bite size vegetables. The service was good and the restaurant is clean. It was also pretty full for a Tuesday evening.

We've always loved coming to LongHorn and have never had an issue before--until tonight, and it was a big one. It was my best friend Mandee's last night visiting, and we chose LongHorn because it's always been a reliable go-to. Unfortunately, this time the experience was completely ruined by unacceptable behavior from the manager, Emeleo. Mandee ordered her steak medium, and it came out blue rare three times. The first plate was so raw the waitress gasped when she saw it. Mistakes happen--that wasn't the real issue. The problem was when the manager came out and immediately got defensive and rude. Mandee had been incredibly sweet and patient, even apologizing for the trouble when she shouldn't have had to. Instead of helping or showing any concern, he was combative and dismissive--like we were the ones causing a problem. I had to step in and say something because his attitude was completely out of line. As regulars, we were shocked at how poorly this was handled. The food can be great, and the servers are usually wonderful--but management like this is unacceptable.

The food was delicious. Salad fresh cut greens, red tomatoes, crunchy croutons. The bread for starters was right out the oven. The waiter was knowledgeable, nice and polite. He made sure he refill our drinks. Steak was just right, and juicy. A red warm center. Chicken tenders are all white meat serve with honey mustard. Location is perfect for family and friends. Food 4:5 ,service 5:5, ambiance 5:5.

I gotta say the service here is amazing. Our waiter Reece and excellent manners. He knew all about the menu and didn't try to just sell us the most expensive . He recommended the outlaw ribeye which was a little price but not bad. Gotta say one of the best steaks I've had. Reece was on top of all the refills I wasn't able to finish a single drink before getting another. Every time I go back I'll be sure to ask for Reece.

The only picture I took the house side salad.

What do you do when you know all the good restaurants are closed because it's a Monday. For those who don't know, some establishments are closed on Monday's ( or Tuesdays) so they have at least one business day to reconcile all business transactions for the previous week. This is commonplace for small businesses. Anyhoo, I know that longhorn is part of the Darden family and dare I say it, it is one of the better places to dine than the other sister stores (with the exception of capital grille). Since I'm on a two week business trip which takes me to western Virginia (Warrenton). Started out with a nice house salad and the. Moved onto another longhorn staple. The bourbon marinated salmon. I requested the crispy Brussels sprouts and I was very happy. Simple does as simple does. Enjoyable, nutritious, and filling. Not so filling, I also had the strawberry shortcake, which was a disappointment, the "cake" was definitely not shortcake but a cake of some sort.the sauce and fresh strawberries satiated me so I won't complain too loudly. It's good, it's reliable, it's always available. If there was an Olive Garden, I would never go!

The beef was extremely dry and barely even lukewarm. The mac and cheese was dry and completely lacking flavor, and the collard greens tasted like they came from a can or freezer--no seasoning, no depth. My son liked his pork sandwich so two stars for that! Even the coffee missed the mark--bitter, weak, and cold. I ended up throwing it out after accidentally pouring it into my tea cup, which pretty much summed up the experience. It has a truck stop vibe, which is fine--but I was told this was the best BBQ in the area, and it just didn't live up to that at all. I love hole in the wall places that are hidden gems. This isn't that. Serving the food right in front of you is a nice concept, but it doesn't make up for cold, dry, flavorless BBQ. The bathroom was also very dirty, which didn't help the overall impression. Positives: * Large parking lot--great for trucks and RVs * I got to show my son what a pay phone looks like * There are Bibles inside for truckers who might need a little encouragement BBQ shouldn't be pretentious--but this felt more embarrassing than anything else. At this price point, I expect much better. This was a no for me.

There are fans and shade on hot, sunny days. Since we didn't talk about the food during the visit, i don't know specifically what they thought of their meals this visit, but they did recommend the restaurant, so, there's that. I ordered a spinach salad and the poppers. I really loved the salad and my husband enjoyed several bites of greens, bacon, egg, and delicious. The server had to tell me that my poppers had "popped" in the fryer and were not serve-able. I remembered grilled cheeses on the menu and asked for one of those--i didn't care which. He described each to me and recommended one... i don't remember the name now, but it was the one with the apple and paired perfectly with my hard cider. My husband got the chick-fil-a sandwich: a patty that was thick, fat, and juicy just like chick-fil-a-- only better (lighter and crispier) and thicker. The veg and sauces were well balanced and complementary; the bread had a slight, pleasant chew without being too heavy. I am looking forward to eating here again.

Sauce was ok, but a little condiment cup wasn't enough to bathe my meat in it. For an $11 sammich, it would have been nice to get at least a little side of slaw or a scoop on the sammie. $7 crinkle cut fries you can get at Costco is not a recommended purchase. Dinky portion & served kinda lukewarm with seasoned salt. $20 was not well spent for a sandwich and fries. However, if you're starving while the truck happens to be at the venue you're enjoying, then it's decent grub...just a bit expensive for what you get. The fries were really a let down when I saw them. When I get food from a truck, I'm hoping to see some interesting food that's a bit elevated from a brick & mortar, especially when you're paying premium prices for their lower overhead. When I'm ordering fries from a place that's not a cheap fast-food joint and paying almost $10 for them, I'm hoping to see some well-fried fries that are super tasty, wonderfully crispy, and a beautiful golden brown. I am not looking to get a small pile of anemic crinkle cut fries that look like they came out of a giant bag of Ore Idas that you can get at Costco for the same price I paid for this dinky handful. I'm not buying a side just to get more food. I'm buying a side to complement my entree making it a delicious meal at hopefully a good value. Needless to say, I couldn't even finish the fries as small a portion as they were...and I had help eating them...no one thought they were very tasty. If I'm spending a chunk of change on food I'm hoping to enjoy, I really want to enjoy every bite. This pairing I selected was ok, but did not leave a memorable impression enough for me to repeat the expense. If you're a BBQ aficionado, although, you might want to give it a try. The meat was tasty but just a bit ordinary.

The outdoor seating included a few tables and a small bar that looked like it would be able to be staffed for special events. This area needed a bit of TLC (especially since there were a couple piles of animal poop), but it was otherwise pleasant. We really liked our cider flights. It was very helpful that each individual board was labeled with the names of the ciders so we could remember our favorites. I tried the Hatch, Cherry, and Rocket. We asked if it was okay to order food from one of the surrounding businesses and were told it was totally fine to bring outside food into the garden area. After grabbing some meals, we returned for another round. We both found the Cherry to be our favorite and each wanted a full glass to enjoy after the flight.
