Recent visits revealed dirty bathrooms, dirty tables, lack of staff, a roach walking on the wall, and an overall poor experience. This was a delivery order, and it was an absolute mess. Items I ordered were completely missing, and every sandwich was wrong. Nothing in the delivery matched what I actually ordered. That means the order was either packed without checking or just flat-out ignored.For what Panera Bread charges, this level of incompetence is unacceptable. When you're doing delivery, accuracy is the bare minimum and this place couldn't manage that. Total waste of time and money. I had an awful grilled cheese sandwich today. I was craving one on my way home from the hospital after a surgery. My son brought one over to me. The bread was hardly toasted, the cheese wasn't melted, and there was no frying of the sandwich. It was so dry. Horrid. read more

The food was what you expect at Panera. However, the staff was what brought down their score. The manager took our order and ended up giving us the wrong soufflé. He did comp the incorrect one and then gave us the right one.I still don't know what they took the bbq chicken salad off of the menu. it was so good and even the staff says it was one of the more popular items. Does not seem that anyone actually takes responsibility for the management of this place. Generally is not cleaned. Nobody is a face of customer service, just the self order device. You place your order on the machine and then hope for the best. I am in awe at their serving ability. I went in to pick up an untoasted plain bagel, along with one everything bagel. They packed it in the brown bag and I brought it home. Today my friend and I wanted to meet up so we chose Panera as our lunch spot. We each ordered a Take Two. I had the Half Greek salad and the half Turkey with Avocado and Bacon sandwich. The half salad is now much bigger than I remember. The salad is delicious and very fresh. I do wish they gave more dressing. I also had the sandwich and was less impressed with that. They give you real carved turkey on that sandwich. It is not deli style. The turkey did not have too much flavor but the avocado is really fresh. The bacon was not too great and I did not particularly like the bread. They used to give this sandwich on a Sourdough roll. I much prefer that. The cashier was friendly and the restaurant was clean. I ordered from the Pick Two. My creamy tomato soup, pureed with fresh cream and topped with black pepper focaccia croutons, was oh so very comforting after a long work week. I also had the smoked, pulled chicken with vine-ripened tomatoes, chopped basil, red onions (my favorite), and chipotle mayonnaise, all grilled with cheese on Focaccia bread--they call it, Frontega Chicken Panini. All the people working here have been nothing but nice when I go in so that's where most of the rating is from. Did a mobile order showed up at the time it said to and then proceeded to wait an additional 23 minutes for them to make it. Got an iced coffee and there was barely any ice. The coffee was room temperature. And I asked for a sliced toasted bagel which they didn't slice or toast. My family once said I go here often enough to be a stockholder. While I'm not really fond of their sandwiches, I love their soups and their Greek salad. It's a great place to make a quick stop at for take out lunch. A lot of nice people work here, many of whom have worked there for years! This place can get hectic during lunch hours, so I prefer to order online and pick it up. Panera's chocolate chip cookies also rank up there as one of the best! read more

So finally after nearly two years of avoiding Panera, today I decided to go back (I over did it in the past) to my surprise the menu was... Smaller, kinda like "These are the ones that sold guys" which isn't necessarily a bad thing, it was more shocking since my favorite salad was no longer available. There I was at the counter about to make a decision I was unprepared for mentally since I usually stick to what I like, that steak salad was just perfect. It was out of my hands really, so I chose the Cobb salad, because how could you go wrong (I always order egg containing meals and I don't like eggs) to my delight the salad was EGGCELLENT! This place is poorly operated. Submitted my order on the app, was quoted a 1hr wait for a 6 person order. No problem. Showed up at the 1 hour mark and my order was not out for pick up. Asked the cashier for help finding the order. She was lost and could not help. Found another employee who yelled around to see if our order was being made. Nope. Finally had to open the app and show the order number for any help. They located the order and said they would get to work. There was absolutely no sense of urgency to prepare an order that was now significantly late and had been submitted over an hour earlier. It then took 25 minutes to make the order. Wonderful and fast service here. Usually, when we are there we see good spots to sit at and nice window views of the area. The seating is also not as spacious so sometimes being there during crowded hours may be claustrophobic. Other than that, this place is great for its sandwiches, wraps, bread/soups, and drinks too. Turn. Back. Now. I am writing this not as a review, but a warning. A warning to fellow Weston citizens. Please, if you love yourselves, families, or taste buds, do not set foot in this horrible place. I am not sure if this place is run by a toddler, or perhaps the manager was hog tied and tossed into the walk-in cooler, but it is terribly run. Let's start with this issue. They are routinely understaffed, often with one person working the register, and working the register with the attitude that you just barged into their home and asked them for food. If that's not fun enough, from open til close they are routinely out of half of their items. I take it this is a sign of great inventory management by the unseen toddler manager. Next up we have the quality of food. I just moved to this area a few months ago and have given this place 8 tries. 8 trips into hell on earth. I ordered the usual things me and my girlfriend get, trying breakfast and lunch items. Nope. Not just a bad day. Not just a coincidence. Routinely awful food, prepared in a sloppy manner, with old ingredients. A sandwich which I can only describe as containing dried chicken clippings, with half the bread hanging out of the box and cheese melted onto the plastic. A bagel somehow cut into thirds. Cold mac and cheese. A salad with moldy, old greens. An absolute tragedy. And lastly, the state of the restaurant. Dirty, messy, post-apocalyptic wasteland. Best way to describe it is if a natural disaster hit our area and Panera was looted, but decided to open the next day. Napkins thrown about, no cream, no utensils, everything you need missing, piles of treys with food going bad on their food line. It is truly a sight to behold. This brings me to the depressing conclusion. I am a huge fan of Panera. Unfortunately, I have moved to an area where my closest location is the Weston outpost, which might as well be located in hell and run by Satan. Any one out there, please save your time, money, sanity, and family and avoid this place at all costs. I'd rather go eat out of the Anthony's dumpster than ever go into this insult of an establishment. I will be contacting corporate soon in a desperate attempt to restore honor to our local Panera.
